Growing up as a Turk I’d take traditional food with me (poğça, börek etc) to school and people would always say my food smelt bad or that it was weird. So I stopped taking that food with me and started taking plain sandwiches on white bread. And I’ve only just started embracing my culture and food and realised how beautiful it all is. I can’t wait until Eugene takes them to Korean restaurants.
Actually Eugene did take them on an Asian food tour I guess you would say and it contains the Asian countries that white people know them as. It's on Buzzfeed's channel and it was like 4 years ago. But I see what you're thinking.
Eugene and the Korean Englishman should do a video together.
@@robertfrank16 i was so looking for this comment, thank you. As a KoreanEnglishman/JOLLY follower, I'm really happy I saw this comment.😂
American knowledge- indian, asian ,mexicans, latino and african
I've watched a lot of videos on Korean food.... And each time it amazes me more and more! Looks yummy all the time!
Eugene: Is it spicy Ned?
Ned: *high pitched “mmm”ing*
I love how Lilly is totally candid and not showing off at all..
*Types of PARLE G*
Born and Raised in abroad says : cookie
Typical Indian : biscuit
*authentic Indian: biskoot*
Ohh yeah!! It's Parle g biskoot biaaatches!! Not a biscuit!! And not a cookie!! Our very own sudh desi biskoot
biskoooooooootttttt!

Nasa: yeah
Lili Singh: you don't see lobsters in Indian food
Keralites: hold my plate

Yeah these people always forget we exist.
Indian food isn’t just North Indian lol
Bengalis as well
Tamil peeps too!
Ned and Lilly struggling to open the dabba is me everytime in kitchen 😂😂😂
Are we just going to ignore the moment where Vibha (first restaurant owner) gives Lilly a kiss on the head? Cutest thing ever 😍😆
It was so sweet, and genuine. Warmed my heart ❤️
A true Asian auntie ❤️❤️❤️
ChocoGamin3 that’s in the islands too
Gotta love it! ++++

India is paradise for Vegetarians/Vegans and DON'T EVEN GET ME STARTED WITH Non-veg.....
India is just a paradise for anyone who loves food
Tae’s BAE yesss and also love that pfp 💜
Oh YESSSS. Butter chicken is my favourite.
As an Indian most of us are vegetarian or non vegetarian but I don't know anyone who is vegan
Just don't mention beef
As an Indian, hearing Dosa being called pancake or crepe is very funny. XD
As an Indian, I can safely say that more expensive it went the food became less Indian.
YASSSS
It's fun to taste different things rather than sticking to the tradition...
Very true Gautham NS.The indian aspect of the dish was taken over by gourmet
Yessss
Exactly !!!
We were so close to watching a full episode where ned didn't mention his wife.
So close yet so far
Ned is adorable. Stop being jealous
@@msrodrigues5419 I doubt its jealousy Haha. More just a running joke. His relationship is so cute
Omg😂😂😂. Poor ned😅
@bb boi 24:01
Zach going “Oh you’re a bad boi” after Eugene said he ate Indian food out of rebellion was hilarious tho 😂
The fact that he called Sambar 'Vegan Soup'. Oh god
Chill they're eating it for the first time and also they're more familiar with mexican food than indian food
They called it Vegan cause they made it non dairy for them.
What's the big deal? Every person over 40 I know calls tomato soup "milk sambar"
Not really the reason, traditional sambar doesn't have cream/milk in it, by traditional preparation it's vegan but at its core it is a lentil soup with a hodgepodge of veges (it needs okra though, non negotiable)
The NASA part tho😂 "explore space.. and rate food on the side"
He graduated from the Watsapp University. Indians know it.😂😂

They actually use it for space exploration buddy
"Never seen a lobster in an Indian menu"
Lilly you should probably try out more of Bengali and Kerala food.
Bengali don't have lobsters
@Gopal G I'm not quite sure but I think my friend's mum had actually prepared a Bengali lobster dish, one in a mustard sauce? I think she'd given us some good three to four Bengali term for each type of shellfish, like for shrimps, prawn, lobsters and all but can't remember them now.
@@donnakitterson313 oh yeah! Lobster isn't _super_ common, but all other kinds of shellfish are super common
as a bengali theres only like shrimp ive never had lobster in bengali food but its probably because my family eats the same exact thing everyday lmao
Malayalis and Bengalis dont have the enterprise to open restaurants abroad like Punjabis and Andhra people do. So whose fault is that?
When you see Eugene driving in a not try guys pimped car
*sad noises*
Aliyaa P your just not a memer. This is the right way
I'm so glad, that thing was getting him followed and I felt so bad for him. Glad to see the cringe is gone. He drove it for a full month.
*MAYBE* they had this video when his car wasn't pimped, but im not sure
*Sadness noise*
Zach resting his head on Keith’s shoulder.... just... so wholesome
All their friendships are too pure for this world and we are not worthy.
When Eugene says “that’s why when one is anti-immigration can never eat fusion food” FELT IT

I love how both Lilly and Eugene are just so amused by the fact the rest don't know anything past "Like a homey egg roll!" I live in a mostly Greek town so when I showed my friends some really good Mexican food they couldn't handle the mildest things. But it works both ways. I can't pronounce a single word when they brought me to a traditional Greek restaurant.

in india we don't even realise that lot of dishes are vegan
that vegan soup is South indian Sambhar 😃
It's obvious. If there are no animal products it's vegan...
Jhovan she meant that they don’t make them with the intent of making a vegan dish... i think we know what vegan means thanks
@@emmafaz4301 well with a high percentage of Indians being vegetarian, I think a lot of dishes would be intentionally made vegan...

@@HD-ko6ym that might be true but @Ace means that since we have so many other delicacies, we refuse to have the most basic everyday.

The only naan Canadian. You missed a pun opportunity, Keith!
So seeing people enjoying and respecting food that is foreign to them is amazing to me, and one of the main reasons I started embracing my culture more. I’m not Indian, but this video and the message of respecting cultures behind it just gives me serotonin.
The try guys * try Indian food
Biryani: are u forgetting something?
@Donald J. Trump Yeah but biryani is very popular in India, so we just call it an Indian dish 🥰
Pulao is Afghan dish not indian , Pulao is cooked with tasty beef in it.
@Donald J. Trump both are Persian. Naan and tandoori food is also from turkey/Persia etc. Indian food especially from Punjab( most people familar with Indian food eat Punjabi food which has it's roots in Persia) is a Spicer version of Persian food. Even samoosa is originally from iraq it's called sambosa there in India it has potatoes and peas but there are other variants.
Biryani is actually Indian. It was first made during time of the Mughal rulers from middle east when they ruled Delhi.
Its more like " am i a joke to u?"
