    Summary: she didn't notice a difference after 30 days. She's not sure if it will work if she uses it for an extended time ( like 6 months). She asked her friend to guess which eye she was using this serum under, her friend chose the wrong eye (the one she wasn't using the serum under). Her friend happened to be using the serum as well and she wasn't sure if it worked. This is why she asked her. She asked (us/the followers) if she should buy another bottle and continue using it and give feedback ( She finished the first bottle) . She said it's expensive compared to the price.

    I used to watch your videos years ago when I was 14-16 years old, struggling with cystic acne and being bullied most days. I'm now 25 and I rediscovered your channel late last year when I found myself struggling with hair loss. Thankfully my cystic acne went away and my hair is now growing back (I'm pretty sure it was stress induced TE), although I do still struggle with oily skin and breakouts. You've helped me so much with not only understanding my skin and hair, but you've also helped me with my overall mental wellbeing and self confidence. You are sunshine and I'm so happy to have your videos back in my life! You have introduced me to so many products that are now staples in my skincare rituals, and you've introduced me to many other content creators who have also helped. I never purchase a skincare product without seeing if you have reviewed it first, and always take your advice on board. Thank you for all the help you have provided over the years xx

      I hope everything is going to work out for you truly.. one thing to look at and doctors will fail to tell you this a lot of them don't study it unless you go to the appropriate doctor.. but majority of the time hair loss in females is alopecia and it is literally a auto immune disorder it is when you're antibodies decide for no reason to attack your hair follicles yes and other horrible diseases that the immune system can do like Lupe's And rheumatoid arthritis and so on and so forth and diseases that are horrible actually life-threatening all belong to the auto immune in this case which would be re your immune system is so strong .. yes that's your antibodies go rogue they go mental and they decide to attack a part of your body in your case it seems the follicles also acne severe acne is also auto immune just a little information to give you and you can maybe start looking it up and reading up on it and maybe seeing a doctor about it and see if you can perhaps take something to suppress your immune system yes it sounds scary but with people with auto immune disorders we have a higher than normal immune system it's always ready to attack That is why it attacks places we don't want it 2 so please have a look into that and I know this because my mother has the same thing

    Sooo my take on this product… I mostly got this for my fine lines/crows-toes and I very much notice a difference on my 41 year young face. As for le poof, I sleep on the side of my face and I wake up puffy, this is a great help for that just as the peptide less prior option, that one I’m finishing off on my full face and love as a serum. I feel like the fatty pad bags wouldn’t be a well targeted issue with this as much as just fluid buildup. To the sticky icky, I put this on before all other products so I notice it none. I’d have to say, overall I really like this for my personal needs! 🦋

  • @melanieslade9263

    I actually picked which eye you had been applying this serum to as I could see a visible difference in puffiness, darkness and smoothness. You have beautiful skin to start with so it is not a dramatic difference but definitely noticeable to me. Thanks for your honest review and it has helped me to decide to try using this product after my daughter talked me into impulsively buying it, stating she saw loads of great reviews about it on TikTok.

  • @marian7191
    @marian7191 Год назад +6

    I think it's made a teensy difference in your one under eye puff, but what's most noticeable is how much brighter that under eye area is to the other eye. It could even be that because it's brighter it looks just looks like it's reduced. I would say go with your gut on this one and not buy again, but maybe use a less expensive under eye product that you like for brightening that area. At least that way you can help how the puff looks.

    Curious how the Ordinary Eye Serum compares to the Hylamide Eye Serum. For those who don’t know, The Ordinary and Hylamide were owned by the same company, Deciem, but they shut down the Hylamide brand. I loved the Hylamide eye serum which was less expensive and it worked. It wasn’t sticky or watery and it had a good consistency. Still have a half bottle left and wondering what to use when I run out.

  • @clarisaantiagingdermatology
    @clarisaantiagingdermatology Год назад +6

    There are two kinds of puffiness under the eye, FAT under the eye area and accumulation of WATER 💧 under the eye area. This product will work only if the under eye has accumulated water. It won't give results if the under eye is accumulated with fat. Probably in your case, the under eye area has fat pads, which is why you are not seeing results 🤔
    The only thing that will work is hyaluronic acid soft dermal fillers to help camouflage the fat pads under the eye area.❤

    I agree with you about eye creams. They put them in bottles that are 1/3 to a quarter the size of the same brand of face cream and then mark the price up to triple the amount. All you have to do is grab a bottle of one brand of face cream, and the same brand of eye cream , then compare the ingredients. They are the same exact thing in different bottles. As a matter of fact, I won’t even buy a product if they do that . If the company tries to repackage the same thing and blow the price up, I ain’t buying it! It’s pure dishonesty. So I’ve been using this serum for a few months, and Idk if it’s the serum that did this but I ran into some eye problems that I never had before. Almost the same type of side effects that I get when use a lash serum (which I haven’t used in a year and half and never will again). I went to see an optometrist and he said I have a lot of blocked glands in my upper eyelash, and that’s why my eyes r constantly tearing up. I used to apply the serum twice a day to both top and bottom. I have gone down to once at night and just under my eye. Like I said I don’t know if it’s the serum, but I’ve scaled back on everything except spf in a bid to stop my eyes from being clogged and irritated.

    I think using a " anti aging cream Ginseng Gold Serum" with a good (lock-in) moisturizer cream

    I’m a 42 year old male, and I’ve NEVER had puffiness or dark circles around my eyes- UNTIL RECENTLY. Over the summer I started retaining fluid and was put on a diuretic the first week of August. I cut out soda and drastically changed my diet. October came around and I decided to treat myself with a soda, and 1 turned in to 2, and 2 into 4, etc. etc. etc. a few days later I puffed up and so did my face and my eyes. A few days later (after running to the restroom every 20 minutes for 2 days) I was left with bags and dark circles under my eyes. I really don’t know why they call them dark circles because they’re not circles… anyway- I’ve tried everything- hoping to get rid of puffiness and discoloration. It’s crazy how you wake up one morning and you look 5 years older. Ordered this product last night from the Ordinary- I have an appointment with the dermatologist in a couple of weeks- hope to get the eye issue fixed - ASAP - it’s depressing.

    There is something about it I like it’s definitely not as drying as the original caffeine serum the negative is is very runny I keep it In The fridge and have a mirror on fridge to quickly apply it or it runs down your finger and many will find you still need to top off with additional moisturizer I will say a little goes along way I was using the buffet +copper peptides along with this so I normally apply this eye serum first alllow to absorb then top off with remnants of what’s left on my hands after apply to face and neck with the buffet + copper peptide as that serum is thicker than this eye serum and together it was nice for the eye area once you give it time to absorb but with that being said are both worth the money as they are the highest priced items from the brand that was once more accessible prior to Estée Lauder
