Inside the burial chamber of the Bent Pyramid

A Not-to-be-missed, off-the-beaten-path experience is to come to Dashur, west of Cairo and visit the Bent and Red pyramids of King Snefru. It is a challenging climb - but our travellers - all of a certain age - managed it masterfully - and enjoyed the spookiness of the burial chamber. This pyramid pre-dates the Great Pyramid by 25-50 years (built by Khufu's dad!)
