Barry Kemp speaks about Amarna - from 2010

In August 2010 in the heat of Cairo, Barry Kemp agreed to an interview with me - an Egyptophile but not yet an Egyptologist. He met me in Tahrir square and we filmed with a simple Sony camera in his office. This little interview (one of the few captured with this great man) in its small way inspired me on my path to future studies. He is indeed a scholar, a great archaeologist and a generous mentor to so many. #BarryKemp #Amarna
