Yesss they need to cut it in half! I usually try to support the originators but when the dupe comes along I'm on it this time! They've given away a lot of units to influencers it would've been smarter to cut back some of that and make the price affordable.
So glad #RevAir got to be a part of your wash day! You definitely mastered the device on the second side of your head and those results were beautiful! Thank you for sharing. 🤗
The Olaplex Treatment 0 and 3 is not a protein treatment. It is a bond builder. So basically it builds a bridge 🌉 to connect broken disulphid bonds..which can only be done on a molecular level. Nexxus Emergency or Aphogee Two Step Treatment are some lovely examples of protein treatments.
It’s the fact that you had such minimal shedding and the curls were hollering “Grand Rising Queens!” I’d have one whole section of your hair in my hand if I started this same session 😭💀💀💀
When you took that bonnet off I was like damn been there girl! I love olaplex. I’m pretty sure that’s the main reason why my bleach blonde hair has continued to grow and thrive. On a side note my shipment from target just came for the rhyme and reason line you reviewed. (Yes I purchased through your link 😂😂😂). I’ll be trying it this weekend and letting you know how it went on your next video. Great video!!
There's an article of a woman who left Olaplex No #3 on over night for seven days in a row. I cant remember her results of her experiment, but i know she didn't have any damage to her hair. i have left No #3 on overnight and it helped repair my hair after i damaged it by using a clarifying shampoo and a conditioner with hyaluronic acid. I had lifted all of my cuticles . So Olaplex saved my lil strands. then later I bought a shampoo and conditioner thats designed to repair cortex and cuticles. and i have been happy ever since. My hair has gained noticeable strength. My tip is if you have a TON of damage to your strands, try leaving Olaplex on overnight while wearing a conditioning cap and see how that works for your hair. It worked for me. i did it overnight twice a week. not seven days. *This is just my experience with Olaplex. Im not implying TressesofAlexis (or anyone who comments) had damaged hair like i did. Im just glad i was able to save my hair.
@@hiddenbeauty12 i found it on Amazon. it's a Korean brand and the shampoo does have sulfates in it but it helped my thin strands its called "C" collagen & cortex. black top/white bottle. its a lil pricey around $32.00. i also got the conditioner. i use that about once a week. and ill use olaplex twice a week. Now just so you know i did cause a lot of damage to my hair and my curl pattern didn't come back completely in some areas. I did have some breakage. i believe this is strengthening my hair and I'm happy with the results. i hope this helps.
@@hiddenbeauty12 I forgot to tell you that ill do C on the weekend and olaplex during the week. or ill take a break from one and just do the other. its up to you how you want to do it.
Hey!! I use OlaPlex when I dye my hair or take it from straight back to curly. I have #0-8. I love 0 then 3 . 0 helps 3 absorb better in the hair than water and I use less #3. I’ll be buying the large bottles when I can. They can keep 4&5, shampoo and conditioner. #8 is good for strength and moisture combined. So I just use it when I use the 0 & 3. But for just moisture or strength separately I use other deep conditioners. #6 leave-in, ok but not for the price. #7 oil, same.
@@alee7322 similar. I have #0,3-8 from an on-sale kit. #1 and 2 were applied by my Aveda stylist every 12-16 weeks. Then I top up with 0 and 3 every 6 weeks. I use #4-8 once a week. To me, that's minimal use and yes I noticed a difference in my hair. I can't even find any split ends anymore after just 6 weeks of use. The only thing I changed was adding Olaplex to my regimen. This kit is going to last me nearly a year on my above shoulder length hair!
Girl, yes! I finally saw the value for me to purchase the rev air. I've only used it once but, I think it's a safe way to really stretch your hair. And yes it's big bulky loud and expensive but, love it for me.
Thanks for a great review, as usual. But remember Olaplex is not a conditioner. Its a bond repair treatment. That's why I love it. Gets to the inside of the hair strand and rebuilds it. ❤❤
That Olaplex mask is the first thing I’ve used that does what it says. I use about 6 pumps for my whole head. I use 3, 4 and 8 and 6 (The Leave-In) is very very good like every product understands the assignment. Lol
That Revair is awesome but a little too expensive for my pockets and considering I don't blow dry my hair that often but if I could it would be well worth the investment
Girl when you took off that bonnet.....annalise keating when she took off her wig lollllll. I wanna try olaplex so so badly but i'll wait till black friday to see if they have any sales

*watches whole video,as soon as she gets notification* totally forgot to,leave a comment. Came back 15 minutes later to leave a comment to support you. I have never tried olaplex, mostly cause it costs coin… I do have the Curlsmith bond builder (can we say sale), and it purports to be a bond builder, with a low level protein treatment as well. My hair loves it. Wondering if I should buy olaplex as well. My hair is not damaged, just high porosity, and so thin from my different meds. Wow, that took a turn. Short version, love your videos, you’re beautiful, as always.

Great video! I’m glad you liked the revair this time around. It was definitely worth the investment for me as it takes WAY too long to blow out my hair the traditional way. Not to mention, I get little to no breakage using the revair.
Girl, my hair was looking just like yours when I took of my bonnet this morning. Had to make myself wash it because I was tired of it looking a mess. I want to try Olaplex, but that price 😬
Thanks for putting us on! I had to hit my family member cosmo prof plug to pick this up as well 😏. Otherwise I likely would have never tried any of the products.
I have high porosity, weak, fine and fragile hair. I used #4-8 once a week for 6 weeks and then I noticed a difference. Zero split ends. My hair always had split ends before. If your hair is healthy already, I don't think you will notice a difference.
I have been an Olaplex stan since 2016 and I need them to sell a bigger size of the No.3. Even using sparingly, I still go through 3/4 the bottle for my length of hair 😑. I made the hubs buy me the Revair. He now mentions the "hair vacuum" every time I wash my hair because I don't use it often enough for his taste 😆
I use #0 and 3 every 6 weeks. I use#4-8 every week on my above shoulder-length hair. Wah-la no split ends after 6 weeks. It's been 3 months repurchase might be December 2021 for #0 and 3. I could see the shampoo lasting a year.
What happened to using number 0 first? Why is it that most of the videos I see, people are only using one part of the magic duo? Even Olaplex says to use number 0 and then use number 3 for optimal results. I'm confused.
Before number 0 came out, number 3 was used alone. It is not incorrect to only use number 3. After they released number 0 in 2020, of course they would say to use them together.
