I hate the excuse that a DM or players in general are “not available”.
It does not matter. If you want a player, you go after them. Rodri wasn’t for sale or “available” , but Man City went for him and got him. And that is the attitude you need. You go after players not just sit and wait

The idea that the whole team must adapt to one player's style is just mad! He's a generational talent, but everyone is just using him wrong.. We must have fast players running in behind the defense and the opposition should leave spaces behind and not press Trent at the same time, so he doesn't lose the ball but pings it to our attackers who are then one on one with the goalie! That's how it should be! And a good manager will prove it the next time we play San Marino! :)

This is a team that finished 3rd. Coaching the mistakes out could conceivably see Liverpool finishing 1st or 2nd. I expect no purchase before January, and that will be dependent on who doesn't want to sign a new contract, as well as how the players actually adapt to what Slot wants from the team. That all goes out the window for a top right winger, or if Darwin gets a long ban.

I think Nunez' anger problems need addressing on a club level. This isn't the first time we've had an incident around him, I love him as a player but he does have an attitude problem. First time I clocked it was against ghana when he was scuffing the penalty spot, he takes things too far

I have never seen any other manager who have a squad full of players who play progressive and expansive football in their clubs, and then have them play like Stoke under Tony Pulis.

Trent's passing is so overhyped. Most of his killer balls go to the opposition, Anyone can produce a nice cross every now and again.. But his crisp passing along the ground are quite unique, but lots of things must align for them to take effect.
Passing is not everything and just passing is not enough for a good player.
I hope Slot realizes if he can make Trent work or not as soon as possible!
What you have to remember is that Trent is still so young and he’s still learning, it comes down to the next few years, with his technical ability and passing he will only get better and he’s already quality, slot is the man hopefully 🤞 to get the best out of him👍

@@reecejones2731 yes, I still have hopes.. But you have to stop the ridiculous best in the world talk, because it seems to get into Trent's head and doesn't seem to motivate him to work any harder. Slot needs to instill some pride in him, so when he gets done, he tries to recover not just lets it go. It's the key!
