That third goal. The defender steps across to block MacAllister from the ball. Didn’t work out as he was the one shunted out of the way. Really great and aggressive play to beat the defender and win the ball.
The transition from Slot to Klopp has been seamless. Still early doors but the way we started the season suggests good times ahead 🙂 If Edwards did not to return to the club, who knows which manager might have been employed. Edwards was key to bringing Slot to Anfield.
Great work Chris big up big arne slot were inevitably gonna gave hard times this season but what's slot showed so far is when a bad result or game comes he will have the backing of the fans
I’m a united fan but really enjoyed the pictures and well talked through. Trying to understand if ten hags tactics make any sense we’re so open in the midfield
He tried the same 4-2-4 pres that worked against City in the FA cup final, but it didn't work in this Liverpool game because he moved the forward line about 20-25 meters forward which leaves a chasm of space behind the players pressing because he doesn't move the defenders forward aswell. And in all the 3 situation that leave to goal he for some reason has set it up that without really being under control yet they give it to the deepest midfielder and everyone except the two defenders sprint forward, and then the DM has to make a Quaterback pass almost like it's american football. But Casemiro isn't good at long passes, plus he isn't great at dribling the ball forward which he tried for the second goal, and the 3rd goal Mainoo got given the ball while the 4 players closest to him are all Liverpool players and he has to turn to try and get out.
On the second goal, we had done a similar move earlier and Diaz run with the defender while Mo played it behind him. He realizes that and stops the next time
For the first goal Gravenberch's read and movement is great but I think he chose the wrong pass. It's so hard for Salah to play that cross whereas the pass to Szoboszlai is a simple one to put them two on one with the keeper.
I think you are right that he counts them as 4 defenders, 3 midfielders and 3 attackers. And then the numbers in the formation isn't that important, because it's fluid.
On the first goal, it obviously worked out, but I was wondering why Gravenberch passed to Salah rather than Szoboszlai. The latter was wide open in the middle and it seemed like a better option to me.
@theredmentv Weird one here Chris, but Corinne was on to me about the Liverbirds in the studio facing each other and bad luck. She doesn't change does she?
11:00 “Because let me just use my Skys Sports software to work this out. The distance between these two players is 19.5 yards. That's atrocious. That’s by the way that's completely made up. Uh as are 96% of all statistics on the spot.” That’s why I love you. Absolutely hilarious.
Now Will you guys please shut up about a number 6, a number 8, pivot and double pivot. Get off Endos back and stop moaning about lack of signings. Come on you reds 💪.
Fabulous result. Feels good. “Destruction”? Can’t get to carried away folks, as Man U are quite a poor Team and they aren’t set up well at all. Just giving some context. Now November will be interesting we face Real Madrid on 27/11 and Man City on 30/11 or something like that. Now if we “destroy” these two, then we got right to chat and go mad. Until then enjoy it, but stay calm. Otherwise, we won the battle but lost the war. Eyes on the bigger prize always…I hope that’s the way Slot sees it..
@@theredmentv It does feel good I admit. Banana skin of a match as we all know. Nah but seriously it was a good result. Fair enough. November looks like a tricky month!
We beat Ipswich and people said wait until we play Brentford that will be a tougher test we beat them easily and people said man united will be the real test and show how good we are. We beat them easily and then it comes “well they aren’t that good” wait until we play Madrid. Why can’t people just enjoy the wins without looking for banana skins and claiming every time we beat a team that they are poor.
Brilliant deep dive, Chris. Well done, plenty of insight

No Josh 😢 sobs quietly
same mate. same
Yeah waste of time
Lovely tactical breakdown Chris, really enjoyed this 👌
Josh better come back with a boss tan or we won’t believe him .
The MacAllister / Caicedo midfield was lauded at Brighton, now MacAllister is doing the same with Gravenberch
Keep up the amazing content Chris 👏👏👏
The Beautiful South song” He Came From Rotterdam to Liverpool Arne’s Anfield Home,Rotterdam to Liverpool Arne’s Anfield Home,Arne’s Anfield Home “
but he didn't come from Rotterdam so hardly makes any sense
He means Feyenoord, it's in Rotterdam, but yeah, he already has a song so...
This could be Rotterdam or anywhere
Liverpool or Rome
Arnie Slot's our manager
He'll never need a comb, never need a comb.
@@BobbyHoskins1016 Feyenoord is in Rotterdam
Let's see 👀 how Liverpool get on when we go to the beautiful South ourselves to play the London teams

Nice analysis chef
A cup of tea, an iPad, and talking about beating the filth 3-0 at the Theatre of Shite? It doesn’t get much better mate
Class video chris. This team is special!
Quality video Chris mate keep them going Liverpool where quality on Sunday YNWA
Awesome solo act👏🏽

Gutted. Was looking forward to Josh's insight of this
I'm so impressed with Slot i prefer managers with hair but he has won me over
Are u a hairdresser 😅
🤣😂
We need Josh !!!

Casemiro, the gift that keeps on giving.
I think his legs have gone.
I can watch Diaz pick Casemiro’s pocket all day on repeat.
Calling an employee on their holidays!? Classic manager behaviour Chris 😂
Good analasis Chris, but gegenpress is the press back you do right after losing the ball

To pull the defenders to Salah so Diaz would be free
0:42 start
Those where pressing traps, baiting semiopen spaces, it's not gegenpress just press.
I was dying at your statistics of statistics being made up lol
Brilliant Christopher 😅 condemned to 14th place with a midfielder who's legless.
Done a great show like a true leader without Josh Chris! Virgil Van Dijk-esk!
Only reason I wish we sold Diaz is because I’m sick of hearing Chris say it wrong. How does he see it as Lewy Dias genuinely
Boss la
Gavenberch was’t the holding midfielder, Mac Allister was.
That's not a cup, it's a bin.....😅
🦵🦵 are these the legs that Casimero lost ?
Yep that's them. Can tell coz he has two left feet
The Casemiro jibes 😂😂😂

No she doesn't. Tell her I'm on it 😂 Hope you're both well. Pass on my regards!

No Joshy. 😢
Positioning excellent in all 3 examples, owned their midfield
Lewy Dias
Better than Figo don’t yer know…
what terrible timing to not have Josh on!
I know 😭

deep dive with no Josh Williams? big joke
Interesting Deep dive from someone that doesn’t know the difference between a 4231 and a 433. 😂Hey, I didn’t say that the shiny one did.
