I am told this recording is from when she was 92 years old! Astounding!
I am studying Chopin's preludes right now and this piece was especially challenging because I noticed my favourite pianists (mostly men, I'm a woman and can reach only upto the 9th, but comfortably an octave), played their left hand more effortlessly due to their bigger hand size. Then I found this video, where this 92 years old pianist, she played so effortlessly, more effortless than most pianists I know! I hurried sat down on my piano trying to use her way of playing the left hand and voila! Thank you so much! She is the piano queen.

To have such perfect coordination at age 92, is a miracle on its own...and combined with 9 decades of musical wisdom, leaves us with what we see here, absolute artistic flawlessness.
I could play the left hand, and I could play the right hand - but never together ! Even at 46, half her age.
This is how this prelude should be played i also feel this is how chopin wanted it to be heard....her playing is full of emotion
When I address her, I can't think of a proper way but to call her "Your Majesty" lol. Her energy, form, facial expression, articulation and presence are so powerful, intelligent and classy!!
I really feel that she's capable of running a country better than anyone.
