    *** IMPORTANT***
    Hi everyone, their has been a re-call for all ML250 ECU SOFTWARE. Im in melbourne australia and we had limited kms remaining, dashboard also said ADBLUE and NOX sensor. The car ECU also locks out anyone from making any changes so both NOX sensors will need replacing for free to be able to do software update.We almost spend several thousand dollars at private mechanic, lucky we rang mercedes. All the best

    Thanks for sharing the video. Do you extract the Adblue fluid from the tank before lowering it down?

    • @kenkanfix
      @kenkanfix  3 года назад +1

      Hi, no, I didn't drain the tank before lowering it. The Jack was very helpful for lowering the tank in a controlled way, so it didn't matter that there was still adblue in there.

      @@kenkanfix Lowering down is not a problem. When the tank is full, bring it up to install is tough to control because the tank bottom is not very flat, and then the tank may move sideways when rising.

      Hi, the scanner is plugged into the OBD2 port. The port for a W166 is under the dash below the steering wheel column. It's covered by a little plastic cover

    Do you know the parts number for the replacement you bought? Mine needs to be replaced but the number from my existing preheater don’t match the one’s on fcp euro.

    hi Kent can you post a video on how to clear code on your scanner

    • @kenkanfix
      @kenkanfix  2 года назад +1

      Hi, the process is similar to most scanners, you set it to read codes and there will be options to record or clear codes. Not all scanners can clear these codes these code, so make sure you have one that supports Mercedes-Benz. I used a iCarSoft CR Pro multi-system scanner. good luck.
