i Was up there 2 weeks ago, that video presentation with the big reveal is spine tingling. I went up the old WTC twice and they will always be my favourite in memory. But this was amazing. I love NYC . From a Londoner!
The first WTC had an outside observation deck on the south tower. I was there once in late '70s. The window frames in the new tower are wider. The old place had narrow windows hard to see out. The elevator time lapse film took you by surprise. The photo taking of visitor to sell later was like a riverboat I was on in Florida in '76just a quick buck sale. But here it may serve to record who's in the building, what happens to the unsold photos? Thanks for taking us on your visit so we know what to expect if we go.
I have not experienced the true NY but this gives me an idea of the lay of the land from above. Thank you so much for sharing. This is on my bucket list. Livey, Sacramento Ca
Definitely incredible for me! I cant go over 5 stpries without worrying, 14 without a small panic! The elevator itself would've made me ignore how high off thw ground I actually was! Im actually considering a visit to WTC!
Have yet to goo this structure, looks great.I have been to the original trade center buildings numerous times, saw them being built. Was there on september 9, 20001. The originals had an outdoor observatory as well.
Wow you were there 2 days before the Attack, I bet that's something that's hard to forget! Bless your memory!! This makes me wonder what it would've been like to witness during that time!!
I am happy you were not there 2 days later. I only went up once at the original WTC and the outdoor obs deck is something that will be missed with One WTC ver 2!
I went to New York last year in July and the midtown skyline has changed a lot. Sorry New Yorkers but I don’t like those new Central Park buildings they ruined the nice old skyline when the Empire State Building was the tallest. I’ll be there during the spring I’ll have to see how much it has changed. Nice footage man!
Great stuff! Please do one on The top of the Rock in the future. Ive heared its one of the best viewing plaforms in the city because of the perfect position towards the Empire State Building.
Nice video. You were lucky to have such a beautiful day. I hate it when you go to one of these places, or some big exhibit, and they make you snake through all these multimedia shows first. I understand it's for crowd management, but I just want to get to the thing I came to see. And even when you got up there it seemed you had to go through the cafe and store. Come on. That recreation of the development of New York on the elevator ride was special, though, a very clever and informative display. I'd probably want to experience just that a few times.
yeah the multimedia stuff seems really dumb, esspecially making everybody wait for the crusty Ipad thing. Its also stupid because I believe the original 2WTC had free binocular things, and those would've been way better. Also they shouldn't force people to take pictures, it should be optional.
Chicago's Sears/Willis Tower and the new Central Park Tower are both higher by rooftop. If you were to include Sear's Antennas, they reach higher than Freedom Towers.
Never got to go up here because it wasn't completed in May 2014! I felt robbed because of the terrible events that occurred to the two previous towers, of which I was waiting a life time to see. Very poignant to have to visit and mourn what was and what happened here, moreover because of the human cost, very sad. To the future though, and I've been informed I'm allowed to come back to NYC for my 50th and this is one of the first things I'll be doing. Done the rock, done the empire... Thanks for posting these video's it's nice to be able to virtually be there, in from 2014 my second favourite city (sorry lost out to Lisbon-for which if you ever do Europe, that's a must!)
@16:22 - the copper-topped building is 40 Wall Street, aka The Trump Building, formerly known as the Bank of Manhattan Trust Building, and also as the Manhattan Company Building. I was up there in January of 2017 or 2018. I remember so vividly that initial view when they drop the curtain. The NJ view has changed a lot in 3 years. The grates weren't covered with the white plastic skyline when I was there.
I have an entirely different perspective for heights!! Maybe if I were there in person it would be different, but between the Elevator and the presentation Im completely in AWE! This is one of your best recordings for me!! From underground to one of the highest buildings you are the best thing I could come across on RUclips!! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! I gotta say I ACTUALLY THINK I WANNA VISIT WTC 1!
AK, seeing all Ny from the WTC observatory, did you think of everything you've walked through Ny? I think your work is amazing, unique and admirable !! ... 👏👍💝
It's much more of a theme park style "experience" than the old deck was. Downside is how cheesy it all is. Does NOT encourage repeat visits. As for the restaurant fiasco... don't ask
That elevator visual reminds me of the Empire State Building elevator but it's only on the ceiling if I'm not mistaken. Also, a bit like ending to Gangs of New York... transitioning to present day from the movie's time period in late 1800's. (That's why the movie was delayed a year... it originally featured WTC in that scene.)
Hi AK !! Thank you for this! I wish I could donate to you as you are providing a huge service and entertainment, but I cannot......But, I’m watching your ads now....thank you for all you...stay vigilant during your walks....💜💚💛
The prices of the products sold there are high but you must keep in mind that it is a special tourist place where the costs and expenses of those businesses are high.
Take a shot every time he says “woah”
Oi
id be drunk as a mf
that elevator was like a video game. Nice view!
I like the quality of this recording and with that clear day, the result is amazing.
16:10 This exact view was filled with flames and shockwaves when the second plane stroke the south tower.
i Was up there 2 weeks ago, that video presentation with the big reveal is spine tingling. I went up the old WTC twice and they will always be my favourite in memory. But this was amazing. I love NYC . From a Londoner!
Its amazing that you're looking at ALL OF NYC from that view! ONE CITY!!
That elevator ride is worth the visit alone. The rest is pure bonus. Can’t wait to see this in a few years. Great job Kid
My Life Excited Shot

Wasn't the observatory of the orignal buildings on top? Higher than the current one?
How was the experience back then of the original wtc? Im from the uk so only ever realised they existed when 9/11 happened.
This is a very cool video Actionkid. Thanks for sharing your adventure of the Freedom Tower with all of your viewers.
I’m so emotional watching this. Thank you for the video.
Loved it. Visited in 2015 and 2017. Thanks for sharing. Great memories.
I have not experienced the true NY but this gives me an idea of the lay of the land from above. Thank you so much for sharing. This is on my bucket list. Livey, Sacramento Ca
That's amazing the new WTC
WOW, the elevator is incredible!

Thank you for 4K version, so better to view this beautiful POV experience! Awesome
I love the view to the south. The Verrazano Bridge and all that water glistening in the sunshine @11:34.
That lift up was amazing. Thanks for sharing 👍 such an awesome experience. Loved it!
The bridge in England and the Eiffel Tower made all this possible. And the world is seeing the wisdom of urban management without reason to war.

Uncle Kurt had an appointment at Amex in World Trade Sept 13, 2001 . He never showed up for some reason.
Wonderful views all around great footage Actionkid!!
@@MissionHomeowner yeah because the buildings were destroyed lmao
WOW!!! That elevator time lapse is extraordinary! So cool! Thanks for the video, I need to check out NYC sometime.

I would have a panic attack if I were up that high

sears antennas dont reach higher ( sears tower 1730 feet and one world trade 1776 feet)
Very informative! I don't know which was more mesmerizing, the elevator or the scenic views of NY/NJ? Thank you for the video.
A better view than the Empire state Building! A great video from you! Thank you Actionkid the you are the Kingpin of RUclips! 👍👍☺️☺️
It's just unbelievable views of New York. Thank you for this! 👍🗽
Hey you went!! So glad you were finally able to enjoy it!

Beautiful view. Thank you! 😊
I see they added spikes to the windows, when it first opened, I was able to sit in those windows and take photos. It was pretty damn amazing.
So glad you did this! Not something I would ever do either as a resident or on a return visit.
C Ziv Yes, me either. It’s not on my list so this video did it for me.
Amazing video and loved every minute of it.

Nice work‼️❤️ thank you.
The heat looks off in the buildings of Lower Manhattan, the Village and Chelsea. Temperature on March 1 was in 40s not 60s.

The Verrazano bridge was the bridge I saw from a park in New Jersey!
Hi AK !! Thank you for this! I wish I could donate to you as you are providing a huge service and entertainment, but I cannot......But, I’m watching your ads now....thank you for all you...stay vigilant during your walks....💜💚💛
It is filmed right before the Covid19 is widely spread in NY.
thanks a lot¡¡¡ a lot¡¡¡ great video. What a fantastic observatory¡¡ :-)
good one kid.
21:31 When he says he can see the words “I want to thank you” what is he talking about?
On the side of the pier, in red letters, above the water line, on the Hudson River.
N M Ok I see it. Thanks
couldnt spot that in 360p, on my Win-XP computer.
The prices of the products sold there are high but you must keep in mind that it is a special tourist place where the costs and expenses of those businesses are high.
