Action Kid is a Godsend. I lived here all my life and a lot of these places, well, I've seen countless times, but AK brings it back to life and makes me appreciate my city again.
Love your Videos so much AK. As A New Yorker who used to Work in Midtown B4 the Pandemic. I get to relive alot of pleasant memories thru your video videos. Can't wait to get back in the City Again.
Good morning AK another great video in New York City greatest city in the world! I miss it a lot, but thanks to you I feel like I’m walking those familiar streets with you, thank you very much and take care be well and safe!🌈🌈
Hiya AK! Loved this video so much. I have loved the Empire State building since I was a little kid. I lost my mom over 30 years ago, but I always remember her telling the story of waking up and looking out the window and seeing the plane hanging out of the Empire State building and how eerie. 1945. A year I never forgot. My dad was in Europe serving in World War 2 at that time. And I was born many years later. I enjoyed your walk downtown. I remember when the original Twin Towers were being built. I was a kid and remember them well. My dad had an office on the 11th floor. I spent alot of time up there back in the day. I loved the observation deck and the restaurant "Windows on the World" was one of our favorite places to go when my husband was alive. Your walk brought back great memories of the city I love so much. You are a gem AK. You bring so much joy to so many of us with your walks. Be safe sweetiepie...
To you, Mary Reed, how is it possible for you to say that 1945 was a year you would never forget when as you claim you were born a certain number of years after 1945.
@@brianzybura8633 Because it was discussed by my family members. And no, I will never forget 1945. History is etched in my brain. I didn't have to be alive and present. My parents were married the following year in 1946. I wasn't there for that either. Because of my great love for the Empire State building, I never forgot the year and the way my mom described what it looked like. I hope that makes some sense to you?
@@maryreed2619 Mary, I am sorry for misjudging you. At any rate. it makes me very happy by you saying how much you love the Empire State Building. So do I. I saw it and went in it to the top floor back in August of 1990. Man, how I loved it. In the meantime, Mary, take it easy--and--peace.
@@brianzybura8633 I'm glad you stopped by again Brian. And I'm so happy that you understand where I'm coming from now. And I love that building. Especially with the different color lights. I'm glad you got to visit inside. The last time I was up there was about 10 years ago. Take good care Brian..😊
Awesome content and outstanding camera work. You always put us right in the middle of the action. And congratulations on reaching the milestone of 100 million views for your channel. Well done and well deserved, AK.
I learned something new about the Empire state building , as always great walk and lots of interesting things and places to see , thank you for sharing A K 👍 !!!
I unintentionally did a similar walk back in September when I visited for the first time! My hotel was near Times Square, so I walked from there to the Empire State Building, and then to the World Trade Center. I eventually continued on to Chinatown and made an excursion to Brooklyn... I slept very well that night 🤣 A trip to remember...
The first time I was ever in New York City, I was thinking of doing that since I could see the World Trade Center from about that point. I soon realized that was quite a distance. I took the train instead.
Goodmorning I took a photo with King Kong way before the pandemic I’m originally a Newyorker born and raised happy Sunday enjoy your day and everyone watching stay safe 🙏🏽♥️♥️♥️

Wow, the Empire State Building history is unfortunate but is also fascinating about the person who was saved by the elevator. 😲 43:30 AK's classic impersonation of the "I'm walkin' here" line! 🤣 It was nice to see the gentleman playing the harmonica. 🎶 Thank you for sharing this walk, AK!! 😃
I was born and raised in New York City. Left at in my late 30s to Tampa, to come back and go to the empire state building in my 40s for the first to time lol.... Ok I have to confess, I did work at WTC2 97fl... But this is the empire state building..... Use to take the city for granted... You notice after you leave...
Me and my wife did it once 2 years ago we walked from the Empire State Building to the Freedom Tower aka one world trade... I really miss the Twin Towers thou
Question for anyone who is able to answer, please. When does NYC start putting Christmas decorations up? I know the tree lights on on the 1st of December but just curious about decorations.
Thanks for acknowledging Chanukah although I thought it would be a bit more festive. I also noticed not many people wearing masks ! Hope they are wearing them now --- big outbreak here in NYC. Wishing everyone peaceful and healthy holidays no matter what you are --- or are not celebrating. ✨✨✨✨✨✨✨🙏
Bet there were some accidents and pedestrian injuries at that Canal Street station that compelled the authority to put up the extra guard rail. Definitely a weird and dangerous looking design with the wall curving towards the end of the stairs.
Wow!! 27 dollars for all you can eat?? That's like at least a weeks worth of groceries for me!! I just can't believe how these places can justify such high prices!! Personally, I thinks it's gouging, and a rip off!!
No scaffolding no city.... Old buildings need repairs... Can't do them all at once 😂😂😂😂😂 finish one move to the next.. Never gonna stop unless they tear them down and build back better 😂😂😂

Around the 50-53 min mark, the background noise sounds like the aliens from War of the Worlds are coming.
The plane that crashed into the Empire State Building was a B-25 bomber.
Fog was the reason,I heard!😎🤔
@John Reall And on September 11th it was a Boeing 767-200. About 130 Metric Tons. At a speed of of 500 Mph. What a difference that makes ...
