Hartelijk dank.
This is beautifully played. I love how Mozart slips in the ‚Se trovi in piazza qualche ragazza’ motif that he was to remember and re-use seven years later when he composed ‚Fin ch‘han dal vino…‘ 😊 Or was he already mulling over some Don Giovanni themes?
Damn look what you have done. Now I have to go check the vocal score to Don Giovanni out, ti find that theme. 🙂. Mozart did indeed sometimes reuse small themes and I have identified quite a few in my time from his earlier works that he later used in his great operas. This little church sonata is delightful and based on the KV number and the fact it is for church organ (I believe there is a version for chamber organ and string orchestra) possibly composed during his late Salzburg period just before he finally moved to Vienna.

Great video, beautifully played. Well worth listening to and seeing a great organ being used well.
Thanks John. Stef Tuinstra is a great performer. There will be more organ music played by Stef on YT in the future
