Buy new cartridges! My brand new HP printer spit out completely blank pages even though it read the cartridges were full of ink. I bought this printer from Costco and had already returned one model for the exact same issue, I thought it was faulty. I tried every single tip online for fixing the issue and nothing worked. I started to realize that the cartridges that came in the box were dried out from sitting on a store shelves for too long. I bit the bullet and bought brand new ones and the printer worked perfectly. Apparently these ink cartridges dry out after even short periods of non use and the printer brands don't want to admit that.
I have an almost Full Cartridge from 1 year ago. But i didn't use it for 3-4 months. Its January, dry and cold weather in Toronto. Tried cleaning, but only half the test-page was printed on. I have to buy another cartridge. Shit, Elon Musk (genius) has to find a solution for this... sending Falcon Heavy rockets in empty Space ain't helping.

This all feels like it’s pulling random questions people put in Google and then AI generated answers based off quora responses. This might just be the most bizarre channel I’ve ever come across
HP inkjet technology is incredibly complex and finicky. Unless used regularly, the micro-size nozzles in the print head clog up with dry ink. Cleaning the print head sometimes works, but usually not. REPLACE THE CARTRIDGES. That’s what pays for the printer, not the sub-one hundred dollars you paid for it. (FYI, I wrote and produced the service video for HP technicians when I worked for HP.)
It's the same with Epson. If you only use your printer once in a while, the damn thing will print blank pages and the only fix is buying new cartridges. Some times head cleaning might work but you have to do it a couple times and by the time that's over, you are out of ink.

Here's hoping this finally works. I just replaced a tiny gear for the paper feed, and now the printer isn't putting ink on paper at all. I can't align anything without an alignment page. I'm doing the cleaning right now. Thanks. I'll let you know if I have success.

It's a junk inoperative printer, you can spend hours trying to get it to work and it never will. Full HP ink Cartridges, connected to the PC, full of paper, still acts like it's printing but puts out blank pages. HP help bots are useless. Out of warranty you have to subscribe (Pay) to get HP help, which amounts to throwing more money away. They will not be able to help you either. You just have to eat your loss, it might make a good night light but that's about it.
This HP Deskjet printer is the VERY WORST PRINTER I have ever used in my 5 decades of using computers! Absolutely useless. I cannot afford to replace it. Will never buy another.
Why would you tell us to CHECK the INK Levels when in the Title...it says 'when it has INK'. Another waster of my time....90% don't need to be told to check ink or clean cartridges/head as we have all already tried it...and it "prints blank pages''....that is why we came here. CLICK BAIT!

Plenty of those issues are caused by firmware stopping full cartridges from working arbitrarily. HP have came under a lot of scrutiny for this.

i hate this printer. it'll print if you use the glass, but it won't print through wifi.
