@@cyf5221 It means that, if he wears the shirt, his friends will leave him (because it's an ugly shirt). So it will figuratively cost him his friends, instead of only money.

@@nathalieb1626 I'm fairly good at wordplay when in a conversation and the opportunity arises. But to come up with the setup & punchline on my own is pretty difficult.
Well Steven King did make a pretty big amount of money from both the book and movie versions.

The thought this is all taking place in the one town really adds some context here. I think Arms' character might be about to take out a restraining order 😂
With the axe, the paint, the spade and the two troubling vices, I'm mostly worried about who the shed is for 😳

Room service at the hotel and the strip at the hardware store were hilarious! 😂 Still watching...the cockpit at the airport and "Is that my plane?" "Well it's not mine." crack-ups! Finally, at the clothes shop, I loved the 50% off shirt and "I could really use a good belt." *Pow!* Funny stuff, guys!!🤣

If it were up to me.. you guys would get a Nobel Prize for Humor (Humour). My brain gets whiplash every time I watch a WordPlay video.... so I play it again.
I really love the Wordplay sketches. Great advert for the live shows because it demonstrates how funny, clever and silly you are. And the production values just get better. And sillier.
Wordplay Hotel was what introduced me to FAH many years ago and I’ve been watching weekly since!
Always enjoy these but can never pick a favourite, there's great moments in them all. Did not appreciate til now just how much is packed into a few minutes! Was waiting for wordplay restaurant, but it's probably for the best the video ended - kept almost spitting out my breakfast at jokes I had forgotten! Now, breakfast!

Both the wordplay and immigration series are my favorites with the constant quick, clever, and intelligent puns. Keep up the good work, lads.

Aaaaa, you left out the "I'm a medium" joke from the clothes shop 😭 I don't know why, but this is one of the best puns for me. 😀
I have translated a few of their sketches - just for me, I am too technologically impaired to upload them 😂 - but I did only one of these word play ones because most of them already had an Italian translation. They are so hard to work on obviously, but whoever did the Italian ones so far has done a great job!

@@macformefour candles is an absolutely legendary sketch by the Two Ronnies - Ronnie Barker and Ronnie Corbett. Well worth a watch. Make sure you find the original.

I feel a bit stupid but it only occured to me now that in the airport sketch when Hog says "Have a nice trip" right before Arms falls there's a double meaning to the word "trip" 😆😅
The word play sketches I have to watch 3 or 4 times before I catch everything. So much fun when the puns come fast and furiously.

The puns really come quickly after one another and with English as a second language I've had to look up some words to understand the jokes better 😅 I've watched the airport sketch so many times before without taking notice to the trip joke but now the end is even funnier 😆
