ABOUT BROOKLYN NINE-NINE
"Brooklyn Nine-Nine" follows the exploits of hilarious Det. Jake Peralta (Andy Samberg) and his stoically ever-professional captain, Raymond Holt (Andre Braugher), along with their diverse, lovable colleagues as they police the NYPD's 99th Precinct. In this final season of the series, Jake and the squad must try to balance their personal lives and their professional lives over the course of a very difficult year.
Rounding out the ensemble is Sgt. Amy Santiago (Melissa Fumera), who has a passion for organization and a weakness for dork dancing; Lt. Terry Jeffords (Terry Crews), a mountain of a man whose most powerful muscle is his sweetheart; Jake's best friend and human puppy dog, Det. Charles Boyle (Joe Lo Truglio); and the incredibly secretive, tough-as-nails Rosa Diaz (Stephanie Beatriz). Also part of the Nine-Nine are veteran officers Det. Scully (Joel McKinnon Miller) and Det. Hitchcock (Dirk Blocker), whose only skill as police officers is their ability to make a passable pot of coffee.
Created by Emmy Award-winning writer/producers Dan Goor and Michael Schur, "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" won the 2014 Golden Globe Awards for Best Television Series - Comedy or Musical and Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series - Comedy or Musical (Samberg). Emmy winner Braugher earned four Emmy nominations for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series for his role as Capt. Holt.

let's not forget the moment when rosa busts in to holt's office and finds the balloon arch and holt shouts "VINDICATIOOOOOOOOOOOOOON" that was also improvised
That scene was absolute GOLD
My favorite funny scene from the whole show.
It WAS?? That was magnificent
I love that bit 🤣🤣🤣🤣
As well as every time he says….
BING POT!!! 😂😂😂😂
Often quote it when feeling vindicated. Love it.
This really highlights the cast's ability as natural comedians, especially Andy Samberg. His experience as a comedic actor from SNL really shows in this show. And I love that the director and crew takes full advantage of them. And Joe Truglio is just an amazing actor. His ability to fully get into the character and deliver the lines without even flinching really helps solidifies Boyle's character. The fact that other actors break character yet he continues without a hitch is a testament to his good acting.
Yeah, you gotta be a great actor to deliver such quirky lines without breaking character, and Joe really makes it seems like he meant them.
Joe and Andre were the two best actors on the show.
Indeed indeed indeed!
After lin manuel Miranda’s line, Amy’s face shows anger, but Melissa’s shows confusion
there were basically no unscripted moments here. just things that happened at set that they then incorporated in the sctipt
"Cool, cool, cool" and "Nine-Nine!" are iconic lines. I miss them so much.
Indeed Indeed Indeed
Tbh I find the "cool cool cool" very annoying.
@@kotorandcorvid4968 Cool... cool cool cool
cool cool cool is iconic to 'Community'
@@quenteqmampff8204 Jake is 99's Abed
The fact that the show ended with a "Nine-Nine!!!" from Terry, and knowing the story behind it, makes it so wholesome 🥺
Imagine it being in S9E9. The only regret it never happened
can u explain on that?
@@miniteeya season 9, episode 9 = 99. I think that's about it
@@theresaf.6512 there's only 8 seasons right? i was talking about 'the story behind it' that person said
@@miniteeya they say it in the video you're watching
RIP Andre Braugher. You brought us many laughs as Capt. Raymond Holt ❤️
Wait, WHATTTTTTT NOOOOOOOOOOOOO😢❤🕊
My favorite one is when Jake is pretending to get fired and Rosa is trying her hardest not to laugh.
AND YOUR MOTHER, AND YOUR MOTHER
Is there a video of hidden Stephanie breaks? Cuz when you watch all the clips, she breaks A LOT.
And your mother!
And your Mother!
Yo! High-five for Cox 'n' Crendor profile image!
Its funny how so many of the best moments and running gags from the show were unscripted.. what an unbelievably talented cast
Andy's laugh there was absolutely adorable. I rewatched that part quite a few times
Joe improvised and broke andy character by saying joe
@@prasithoudomvilay8454 he said charles you can hear the S
ME TOOOO 😂
@@prasithoudomvilay8454 He said "Nooo.... That is no one's fantasy." Props to Joe for keeping the improv bit going and bouncing off the room. Real comedic chops there.
which episode was that bro
I kinda guessed that Jake's laugh at 5:24 was actually Andy laughing. It sounded so natural xD
And saying Joe
It was and he said joe
@@melodyrosewood333I heard Charles
He said Joe too 😂
It’s because Joe improvd those lines
Love how they kept in Terry calling Charles by his real name
It sounds like he said "charles!" with a voice crack to me
@@jonathanbrown6182 He is 100% saying Charles.
I think he said Jo-Arles! It’s like he definitely started with the J and you can see it on him but you hear Charles lol
There’s a VERY faint “s” at the end
I think he said Jarles!
Charles and Joe is the new Laurel and Yanny. we hear both.
???????? No
yea I can hear both lmao
i only hear charles.
And just like lauren and yanny, one was the correct one and the other was people with hearing issues. He clearly says Charles, though arguably it's Jarles because he almost said Joe first..
I heard Joe
I love the moment wwhen the squad arr talking about the oldest people they arrested and Charles thinks it’s about something else 🌚 and Andy can’t keep his laugh in. I love how b99 kept the unscripted parts in the show🌟
He also says "Joe" while laughing
@@klarabarunovic9841 Pretty sure he says "no" in disbelief of what Charles is saying.

...also you edited this! You left the post like that and you edited it!
@@ThatCoalSoul do the fun police pay you overtime to grammar check the comments?
@@ThatCoalSoul
dude it's not that serious
And they probably didn't know (or realize) especially based on their other comment -- no need to be all "how dare you leave it like that !!" without knowledge
And even if -- what's it to you gettin' mad ? (or at least that's how it came off)
It's rude to correct ones grammar when unasked for
Especially in a disrespectful manner
And especially as seeing some people say things differently purposely
As long as you can understand the post, then you're fine
No one needs to be judged on informal writing -- it's an informal setting and so it's okay to be informal -- even school teaches you that
If you generally want to help -- then please do clear it up next time and still try to comment on their post instead of focusing purely on their grammar -- ignoring everything they're saying
Otherwise -- you'll end up with annoyed people who won't want to listen to you because it feels you're not listening to them -- or cause it was put in a rude way
Or, obsessively check their writing as to not trigger you when it doesn't have to be that way when it's not needed
I understand being triggered, but you gotta work on that man (including other people who do so)
(Also -- clearing it up in case cause last time one got triggered -- using "dude" and "man" as gender neutral terms -- not acc calling you that)
Joe is such a great actor, delivering those line without breaking character is not easy
That first one with the Vulture is such perfect characterization, couldn't have written it better
Brooklyn 99 will be rediscovered in about 5 years and become a huge streaming hit ,just like The Office did.
I just finished it the other day, it's really great and deserves it all ❤
And get rebooted for a Halloween Heist!
That's actually how I became a fan: it was the first series I watched in 2020 after the pandemic shut down.
@@rejoyce318 me too. I watched all seasons 3 times in 2020.
it already is a massive streaming hit lol wdym, literally one of the biggest sitcoms in the world
Terry started saying Joe but corrected it to Charles at the end
Andy just fully said Joe 😂
andy said Charles and then no
Neither of them said Joe at all. Terry is just yelling "Charles" and Andy is saying "Oh no" while laughing. Start wearing headphones.
@@NoBody12133 aren’t you fun
@@NoBody12133 Andy says Joe after he says oh no while laughing it's as he looks down, pay more attention.
Andy says, "No". If you slow it down you can tell.
Michael Schur is just the master of letting the comedy come out and be awesome
the cast just bounced of each other perfectly
I cannot believe that Captain Hold is gone. I could not help but start crying when I found out about it. RIP Andre Braugher. We will miss you forever.
just found out and im going through that now :(( im heartbroken, i loved captain holt💔 rest in peace💐
andy's laugh at the end is so satisfying and infectious
I’ve never heard Andy say “Joe!!” during his giggle attack, that’s amazing 😂💗
I’m so glad all of these where kept in the show
Time?
@@alexanderandersson4093 The Whole Thing.
My favourite is the episode when wuntch dies and the captain comes out with some bazingas. I think he even catches off Rosa a couple of times. LOVE IT
Holt and Rosa’s interactions in that episode are top tier comedy 😂
4:21 you can see Rosa trying not to crack up
4:38 the curiously unbuttoned top button just shows us jake was right and Amy lied about the bank
Mac's true father is a moleman
😂 dang molemen stealing all the babes
5:07 even scully looks slightly disgusted
Literally that interaction between charles and the vulture is one of my fav scenes from b99.
That last ones such a hidden gem, can't stop replaying it now
Seeing Andy's genuine laugh at the end was so nice, he's such a sweetheart
i can't get enough of andy laugh it's soo sweet
THANK YOU for not adding annoying voiceovers or intro! just captions are great
4:22 Rosa starts to break when Holt says he'd like to play lol
You can clearly see that Andy lost it completely in the last scene ... so much that he had to stand up and walk outside of the room (which was probably not in the script either). One of my favorite scenes :D
Andy’s laugh is so addicting
Seeing Rosa smile and laughing at their banter is always great!
I always thought he said no, but now I definitely hear Joe!
Edit: I meant Terry, I’m still pretty sure Jake says no
Terry 100% says Charles
@@IvanCherganskiyeah you can hear the 's' of charles at the end
You can see Stephanie Beatriz breaking character 4:20
Great catch
The fact that the most iconic stuff is behind camera jokes is my fav part of the show as it lets the characters feel more natural when delivering the line (I think I legit watched this show 1-7 like 189 times now (8 wasn't always on Netflix so I only got like 11 of it))
I love the cold open where the squad is getting Gina to look up & when Gina throws a stapler at Charles you can see Rosa bursts out in laughter in the back 😂
I'd never noticed that before, and now that I've seen it... hilarious! Thanks for bringing it to our attention!
Crazy how these NEVER get old
knew andy's laugh was genuine there since the first time i watched it cause he laughs the same way in his interviews and not in the show!
andy's laugh is so contagious i love him
5:15 this is my favorite i loove how andy laughs 😂😂😂
oh dear lord!!! totally worth watching whole video just for a glimpse of andy's laugh
RIP captain holt now i can’t watch without crying
YES #1!! I knew Andy Samberg was genuinely laughing cause it sounded so genuine LOLOL
Even while watching B99 for the first time, I heard Terry call him Joe. I always thought Terry was truly frustrated and hungry in that scene. 😊
04:22 Rosa's actor breaking and covering her mouth due to Holt's delivery guessing why Amy was late
i find it pretty easy to see these unscripted moments while watching and they always make me smile lol i love how the cast are so friendly with eachother and how clear it is in these moments
andy’s laugh at the end is adorable😂
5:00 you know its gross when scully finds it gross like here
Wheres the hour long compilation of unscripted moments? I could watch them all day :D
Woah. Now the part where Jake is laughing at Charles (aka Joe) is much funnier. It feels like it’s not Jake laughing but Andy and I love it
Andy cracking up @5:24 is pure gold🤣
I never noticed him saying "joe" thank you whoever makes these for B99
THESE ARE LITERALLY THE BEST MOMENTS ON THE SHOW!!
I am so grateful to the cast for being these characters to life!
I’m literally OBSESSED with Brooklyn nine-nine now ever since I started watching it with my parents. I want to meet the cast so bad, that’s how much I LOVE Brooklyn nine-nine
0:05 😂dude kills me everytime
you can TELL everyone in this show had such a fun time with it all. such a great series 😅
#1 is great because if you know Andy, you know that’s his real laugh
I love that some of the best running jokes on this show were improvised or started as on set jokes with the cast💜🤣
I just finished the entire show in less than a week. Some of the best days of my life.
Terry is CLEARLY saying "Charles!" you can hear the S if you listen carefully.
This is simply the best of netflix i watcht it 3 times 😂
I love that this show is just so flawless and smooth!
When a character is alive, the line just came out naturally...
it’s what we called a good actor...
#2 is actually what got me interested in Brooklynn 99. Someone linked the clip of that and I watched it without ever seeing the show before
100% saying Charles each time that it's pointed out -- although I can hear why the confusion.
But with headphones on, you can clearly hear the "arles" at the end of it, but Terry/Andy's voice is cracking slightly to where the "Ch" sounds like "J"
I've always said that Terry says Joe in that clip and I love that they keep it in the scene. Always giggle when i hear it 🤭
Lin-Manual Miranda will never fail to make me laugh, he’s a hilarious guy
the "cool cool cool cool cool"
i always thought it was a vocal stim for jake
I just started this show and it’s quickly becoming one of my favorites
You can’t just limit it to ten. That’s so cruel 😭
4:10 this burn was stuck in my brain, it was the sickest burn i have ever heard in television history.
I've never noticed it before, but Rosa almost loses it when Holt says "I'd like to play".
just finished watched the whole series, i miss them so much.. :(
I love that last one so much! It feels so real, like a genuine conversation between friends :)
tbh the entire casts keeps calling Terry by his real name in every episode!
I hate when they break the fourth wall
Neither of them say Joe. Terry says Charles, you can hear it if you listen and Jake simply says “no”
1:16, he says Joe
4:20 Rosa trying to keep it together haha
Andy definitely does say Joe when he’s laughing at the end 😂
Wasn't that Joel McKinnon Miller voice? Andy was laughing and someone was shouting oh no.
5:26 omfg I just realized now he was saying Joe 🤣🤣🤣
0:37-0:36 you can see Amy's growing concern 🤣🤣🤣
Ahh natural comedians ❤ this show touches my life
I think Charles is the only person to gross Skulley out. His face is of confusion, disgust and concern all at the same time! 😂😂
To the point he shout Oh No on the part where Andy was laughing.
I can't believe I didn't hear them say Joe and I've binged it 4 times
1:19 Terry says Joe because the actor who plays Charles is called Joe Lo Truglio
He clearly said Charles

When iconic lines were unscripted. GENIUS!!!
I love Andy’s laugh so much he’s so adorable 😭
I just rewatched the episode with the oldest bag and I knew that had to be an unscripted laugh from Andy. It was so natural! haha
The last clip is why I started looking through unscripted compilations!! I thought there was no way the cast reacted could’ve so heavily to that and it being not scripted! 😭😭😂😂
2:07 That baby's like 6 months old.
That whole scene with the vulture and Charles 😂😂 each time
Andy’s laugh is so cute
3:43 When you speak German you‘ll realise why this is funny 😂
2:12 Daddy Jake lmao 😭
my favourite scene will always be the "i want it that way" scene, i love it so much
andy breaking and saying joe in the s1e5 open is one of my favorite moments
i love andy’s laugh 🩷
The “cool, cool, cool” thing really caught on, even has me saying it 😂
