I think these dinner advice are appropriate in places where the nights get cold. But in most parts of India south of the vindhyas, nights are not much colder than day. Even in Northern India, during summer, night temperatures can be between 35 to 45 degrees c.
Many families in peninsular India have a tradition of eating steamed rice with beaten curds diluted with water as last course of every meal including at night - sour or not! It is a probiotic that aids digestion. Eating thick curds is more a Northern practice as milk has traditionally been available in plenty and people enjoy the taste.

Hey, great tips. Not sure if you answered it already, but what are your thoughts on chicken and mutton being consumed as part of dinner? Should be avoided as it's difficult to digest? Or nothing to worry about?

It's best to avoid eating it at night..they increase body heat, cholesterol, triglycerides . It takes about 72 hrs to digest it..Ayurveda suggests vegetarian diet . Meat is not at all advisable.

I think as paneer is loaded with proteins and is dense, entire non veg family is. So it’s better to not consume in dinner. Especially eggs should be consumed wIn breakfast

@@shahid_palguni1 u are partially rt here.
A lot of people store pulses and grains in bulk for the whole year when they are available at a cheaper rate rt ? We also do that. So ur protein and carbohydrate is taken care of . We hv to see in what proportion we need to hv them every day. Vegetables and fruits , we hv to hv the seasonal ones available.
We get kachi ghani oils also. Finance matters , but if we are a little mindful , we can somehow meet our daily needs . Exercise and fresh air and sunlight is something no one can deny us.
I am happy that we are at least aware of these things these days.
