I love Sandra Oh, and I love the way she talks about Jodie Comer, "the girl has a remarkable ear", "so very talented", and it's very sad that Jodie's Interview wasn't what I expected, and I blame on Ellen because Jodie was magnificent

Liz86000 i know, sometimes actors have characters so good you are like “ok this is it, this is THE ROLE you will be always linked to and known the most for” , then i saw Killing Eve and you are like “whhhaaaattt”?
I think Scandal and HTGAWM are the same , the main women will always be linked to those characters cause Shonda made them so good.

Agree I feel this is down to arrogance on the part of Ellen, to me it appears she looks down on people who are famous enough and at times comes across as patronising.

It angers me that Ellen was "scared of the character" and relayed it in the interview. Jodie Comer is a phenomenal actress. She was amazing in Dr Foster.
I cannot get my head around the fact that Sandra has not won an emmy yet. She did a stunning job in Grey's and brilliant in Killing Eve. Sandra did so much great on Grey's, especially the shooting episodes, where she wore a mask and you could see and feel the fear with the character. So great

jaseypacey Well Ellen is just trying to make the celebs feel comfortable it’d be so awkward and uncomfortable with the celeb just up there talking all the time, not getting encouraging banters and stuff, and you know Graham Norton usually has more than one celeb, right? Ellen’s been doing longer than he has, I trust her in what she’s been doing.

Ellen obviously have not seen Sandra in Grey’s anatomy, because if she had she would have known that Cristina was known for being absolutely hilarious with her sass and powerhouse of a personality.
Seriously though. Ellen’s been doing this for far too long to have any excuses for her complete lack of research. Not very classy. She came off 100x worse with the interview with Jodie.

I know, it’s was so dry. I couldn’t tell if it was Ellen being a snob, the audience and Ellen not really getting British humour, or most likely a combination of the two. I honestly felt so sorry for Jodie 😂😂

She was...unfortunately, I don't think most hosts do a good job of interviewing her. There is a RUclipsr online (a teenager) that did a fabulous interview with her. Better than the Ellen one.

I literally only started watching Killing Eve because I’m in LOVE with Sandra Oh. She is just everything. I googled her name & saw that she recently started on a show so I was like whaaa? Watched the first episode & instantly got hooked.

I'm thrilled that Sandra Oh is getting so much love for Killing Eve, but the amount people have slept on Jodie Comer despite her brilliant performance as Villanelle is baffling to me. She doesn't seem to have gotten nearly enough recognition for the way she totally embodied that character; it was captivating from start to finish.
