I think this system was used to install our glass block shower wall, but there is mold in between the blocks. Is it possible to remove blocks one at a time for replacement or does the whole wall have to come down?
When you use the vertical anchors to attach to the horizontal spacers, do you still need to use the bottom and top channel perimeter pieces? And if you don't need the bottom and top channel perimeter pieces, how do you complete installation at the bottom and top of the glass block window?
With that top inside rail not secured with screws, would that not make it susceptible to someone pushing from the outside in, such as in a break-in attempt? Was looking at glass block for a security factor.
You can add trim around the inside to prevent such happenings. But criminsls arnt that smart they are like most beings and will look for the easiest route in. Normally busting in the door or windows.

What sealant do you use to bond the glass blocks to the channel?

fairly sure this method is for interior Glass block walls walls not for putting block glass into exterior openings.
How does the silicone installation method compare to mortar in strength?
I would think mortar may be a little more heavy duty, but what are you going to be doing , trying to jump through on the reg?
may please help to advs the clear finishing brand?
They don't even come with spacers prefabbed lol
