I see lots of photos in various sites of glass or granite countertops on glass block structures. If you have any solutions on this issue please send me a note, thanks.

It is not necessary to screw in the first profiles, although it might help to keep them in place so it's one less worry. But if it is shower enclosure you're building we would recommend not penetrating the floor due to risk of water damage.

What if floor not level? How to level up plastic profile on the tiled floor?
We recommend float putty. You could place a rim the size of the glass block wall and then use the grout to cover it for the same color.
