an absolutely brutal album, mostly emotionally but often sonically too, esp on Please Don't Leave Me, glad you're checking it out!

this album is so fucking special. the ending of misspent youth makes me tear up every time. for context around the album art, it's a picture Uboa took after waking up in the hospital after a suicide attempt. would absolutely recommend checking out the full album, one of the most moving pieces of art I've ran across

I almost chose misspent youth, but I thought this one would be more interesting as a listening experience!

excited to see this!! uboa's music (and this album specifically) means a lot to me
my favorite on the album is "An Angel of Great and Terrible Light", which is probably the most "accessible" whatever that means with this kind of music :)

It’s difficult to say I“love” this album because it’s such a hard listen, but it is definitely an experience. “Please Don’t Leave Me” is a gut punch every time.
