- Tune in to the latest HX50 Monthly Update & AMA, broadcast live on March 13, 2024, from the Hill Development Centre. This session, the 13th in our series, features a comprehensive update by Jason Hill on the HX50 programme. We cover the recent unveiling of the HX50 at the 3rd HX50 Global Meetup & Discover Event (GMDE) in December, our participation in the HAI Heli-Expo, developments regarding our new Production Centre, and new progress on the GT50 engine, drivetrain, and airframe. The episode also provides insights into our digital cockpit among other technical details.
Following the update, we host our regular AMA session with Jason Hill, Mischa Gelb (aka Pilot Yellow) and Ruben Dias, answering inquiries from our global audience. This is an opportunity for everyone to gain a deeper understanding of our progress and future directions.
For those who missed the live event, the recording is available here, ensuring you're up to date with all things HX50.

Thankyou for sending regular updates. They are very much appreciated!
Looking forward to the final product, impressive work gentleman.
Very impressive work! Thanks for the update.😊
Wonderful!!!🚁🇰🇪.
Great update as always - fantastic to be able to see the progress being made.
2024 is My Time.....2 Please Thank you in advance.
The America's are watching
I love the fact it will be British made and local. It has to be the coolest looking helicopter on the market.
Keep it up in many ways💪🏽😊
Thank you for the update❤ and wish you success on all levels 💫🙏
Will you use a similar industry turbine to mount and do some testing in the meantime as the GT50 is developed? That is, not for flying, but vibration, crash, structural, weight and balance testing, etc...
Amazing, cant wait to see it fly and actually fly one !
This main dude and the company in general always impresses me with their approach to sharing here. With the door example they’re totally transparent that something is not right so they’re fixing it. It’s awesome. How many other companies in the world always state the negative like a positive as if they shit comes out smelling like Ralph Lauren polo cologne. This mc dude is kinda overboard boot licky fakey smiley but hey. We got the main dude to carry the ball so all good. And I’m sure that dude provides good service in other areas. So don’t mean to be heckler here. Just reflecting reality with my authenticity-meter. Good job Hill. You guys rock. Bucket list. Getting one of these choppers from you.
😊thank you somuch holder's on hand now" ready now for working on too exited fly 😊
I give you a space just under Elon for innovation and quality control. It's exactly what I would have done. I got criticized for wanting to do it all myself. You guys prove why! Stay true to yourselves!
All depends on living up to people's expectations, a flying prototype will be a huge relieve.
Another “Robinson cyclic looking” stick… Do they offer a mod with a conventional cyclic stick?
What about HPHT of all the produced engine and gearbox components? Sounds like you need your own HIP to become fully vertically integrated.
Does the direct drive electric starter motor have benefits in the event of an emergency to re-igniting the jet engine mid flight either electronically or manual manipulation or to give extra rpm torque energy movement to the main rotor to assist in an auto-rotation, since it has no gear box light weight and powerful? thanks🚁
Have you considered optional distanse warning for the tail
I want buy one
A flying prototype would be good
Turbine looks multiple years away from being completed.
How is that? Could you please elaborate, very interesting, no sarcasm.
Oo yaah did have free jackets gave away on it leder 😊
Can the HX50 be developed to land on water? Does it float?
What would really resonate with what people need to see is it actually flying, with operational specs included. Properly funded, before the project was started, a flying model of what one would expect, should be flying & rides being given.
So that's what happened to BC Helicopters
Flying Prototype ?
Yaaah its development i have id on my work hear holder's 😊helping poor businesses o in..
Someone in the upper right corner needs to wake up!
bro is like elon...
So fricken weird hearing people same my name....
Can you please work on how the speakers audio sounds for future presentations. Professional audio please. Move away from hollow, echoed, zoom call or FaceTime call quality audio.
