Lee Roy's Album "Tender Moment" where this song appears, is great listening. Both of these guys are under appreciated. I love Delbert on LeeRoy together - 2 Texans making soulful music. Thanks for posting this.
Not because I think I'm an expert or even close but I thought I had seen or heard all things DELBERT. THANX 4 POSTING THIS, I now have 1 more I know about. I'm retired SCHP/TCO, 2003. Who knows we may have talked to each other & not know. Great post and TELECAT, is in the inner circle of DELBERT musicians & has a great CD of his own. You may want to get the info & check it out.
Hey buddy, this song (this is a shortened version) was released on Lee Roy's '92 album, Love Without Mercy. Excellent album by the way. I haven't listened to a ton of Delbert's music but I LOVE his songs, Victim of Life's Circumstances and Two More Bottles of Wine. By the way, I'm not in law enforcement-sclawman is a reference to my nickname. I do have a late relative that I loved dearly who was in the SCHP you may have known though-his name was Doug Thomas from Lexington-a great man and father.
real soul music
