Can’t believe you were able to get such good footage in those tough conditions and locations! And leading technical pitches with a huge pack like that, super impressive!
Hello Fay and Michelle I congratulate you on climbing Denali via the Cassin Ridge. Thank you for the wonderful film. I wish you wonderful mountain tours. With alpine greetings Raphael Wellig
congratulations on your achievement! I loved watching the video, having climbed the route in 1985 myself, it brought back long-lost memories. Thank you so much
Truly beautiful climbing. The quality of video give the toughness of the climb is just amazing. Fay and Michelle are just fantastic climbers and very inspiring.
Wonderful video, awesome views, and a really great accomplishment! 👍 I think the route is named after Riccardo Cassin, an italian alpinist, who climbed the Denali as part of an italian team, back in 1961, when he was 52. The correct pronunciation is with a stress on the second syllable, so it’s Cassìn, not Càssin. 😉
Brilliant video.I was on Denali on 1996 intending to do the Rib whilst two other friends did the Cassin and 4 others did the Buttress. They left us at 14k and went down to do the Cassin and we got hit by a storm for a few days. When we 'escaped' from 14k and flew out it turned out they had bailed the day before and we both at at the Latitude but didn't know we were both there, only bumping in to each other when we went to leave.
I am a big fan of Mountain Equipment gear and high altitude.... however, i don't understan the video.... perhaps i should watch it again and again and again..... .
Total respect. The Cassin is no joke. Congratulations!
