My heart went out to you watching you hold back tears talking about your daughter! I was “THAT” Mom that couldn’t seem to cut the umbilical cord…I followed my 2 children to Arizona as they went to ASU I moved 42 yrs of my life and left my parents and best friends to be with my grown up babies! Well near them. So I do understand your pain there! Lucky for me, I love AZ and so do they. Close to the beach in Rocky Point, Cali, Vegas. So we are all happy here. They are very outdoors and adventurous and love all the hiking here so it works. I also know you should to try focus on the bright side knowing you did your job as a parent and raised her right! She’s strong enough to be on her own and time for her to fly and pursue her dreams! You and Joe look so happy when you talk about the location you chose and she will be a flight away! Stay strong! Sometimes the kids can live 4 miles down the road and you won’t see them for months so there’s really no difference! FaceTime is a godsend! My daughter took a flight attendant job and moved to Minnesota then Utah, killed my momma heart, but when she had her first child, she moved back home for my help! So that worked itself out! Time and circumstances change! Hang in there! You deserve your happy ending as well!
Thanks so much for your kind words! It really helps more than you know. I keep telling her that she will finally be able to open her wings and fly, and I can't wait to see where that takes her.

Everything will work out, stressful times become faded memories eventually.
Agreed. I remember how stressed out we were getting the house ready to sell, and that is already a distant memory.
The other side is worth it….so power through!!! Best wishes
Thank you!
You guys deserve to live your life and she deserves the same…….
So true, but it is still hard. I know every parent goes through this at some point.
