Looks like a gri gri Used correctly for an experienced belayer. He kept the proper amount of slack in the system the whole time and did not short rope a single clip. Well done mysterious belayer!

@@MrWhoabuddy I mean, you're not wrong, you just, in this instance, are not right. The belay is not bad. It's actually very good. There is a move where megos goes up with intent then immediately clips. The belay pulls in slack as Alex is moving up words and then gives slack for the clip so fast you probably missed it. This is very difficult to do with the "approved" gri gri use. Therefore, the belayer is excellent and there is a big difference between nit picking a competent belay on RUclips and teaching someone in a gym
@@ryanj9571 I'm using and teaching the GriGri for 29 years now and I think using it in a lazy way is not as cool as some wanna-be-pro's think. What's wrong about being a good example and keeping the belaying hand on the lower rope ?

Pros: I can watch another Pro Climber climb some insanely hard routes video is straight to the point (just climbing) no Music! just Nature Cons: someone is shouting every few seconds, kills the feeling in my opinion maybe some commentary from Alex about the route Stay healthy, stay strong.
