You're probably familiar with french contrast? If your gym has the bball hoops in the same facility as the weights, maybe you can potentiate your vertical with a preparatory french contrast circuit. I don't remember what the rest periods are like or the volume per exercise (pretty low vol but not sure how low), so feel free to get info on your own, but it's 1 set heavy (maybe like a 90-95% squat, half squat or BSS), 1 set plyos (something like a depth jump or bounding of some kind), 1 set light movement speed focused lift (maybe a few lighter squat jumps with 30% ), 1 set assisted (some band assisted jumps) and then a max effort jump or a few. But supposedly its pretty taxing so the general recommendation is to be fresh when you do it. Might take a few tries for your body to optimally adapt to that kind of mix of stimulus, so maybe first time won't work as well, but that's just my guess. If you do go this route, it may help depending on your jump style to try substituting a few different movements in during different sessions - most people would gravitate to squat for the lift portions, half squat or bulgarians might work. I don't think it helped my vertical a lot when I tried it out (although it definitely helps some people), but it did help my stride frequency when I tried a variation for hip flexors.
Sir, I am a fan of yours from Turkey. I want to do the seated jump in a quarter squat position, not in a parallel squat position, because I am a one-legged jumper. Do you think it makes sense? Please reply.
I think the problem is most of your lobs are too low. Your clearly jumping high enough and I think if u throw the lobs so that u catch them closer to the rim youll definitely get it. Keep going man!
Hey riq could you please answer? I dont know what it is but when i try to jump with a penultimate step I feel slow and stiff. But when it comes to running in general im quick. Do you know what i can work on?
MAN i feel this i dint have a bad injury like you but i messed up my knee for a month now im jumping the highest ive ever jumped im getting my wrist at rim or 6-7 inches over and i know im getting high enough but i just cant land a dunk.
take your time, you will get it. it's still pretty good that you can dunk on 9'9" while being 5'7". You made progress!
You got this dude, I’m having the same issue where I focus too hard on grabbing the rim I just back rim or snap the ball in the air every attempt.
bro i done been saying this to you in my head when ever i see your videos
Your soo close bro, u got this!
yoo nice to see that your knee's healed bro, you'll get it soon!
Trying!!

Keep up the good work 🎉❤
I am only 5’6 at 16 and I really want to dunk a basketball and jump higher in general , how can I accomplish that ?
im 5'6 i can dunk on 9'8 but i can grab 9'11.25
A lot of training
Strengthen ur grip. That’s what I recommend it’s a lot easier to throw it down when u can grip it
Are your hands small? Mine are, and it definitely makes it tougher!
Very small

Goal is to get your first dunk by the end of this year
I've dunked before my injury so I'm just tryna get back and better now
Just watch the ball the entire time and go get the ball.
why don’t u try dunking off a run up without a lob?
My vert isnt that high to dunk off dribble
