When my daughters’ father passed away, some of his relatives would come tell my kids that “your father was watching over you from the sky”! I was so socked! They are born Muslim. I had the pleasure of being greeted by him at Utica Masjid last summer before Friday prayer when I was passing with my family through Utica to attend Imam Tom's khutbah. I arrived too early, Br. Jibreel welcomed and showed me around, gave me a brief orientation about the masjid and the city. I can remember vividly how he was tidied up for jummah, peaceful smile and quick to build a rapport. May God elevate him in ranks and count him among those whose bad deeds are changed to good ones and multiply them in abundance. Assalamualaikum wa rahmatu Allah!

(John 14:12 Jesus said "Truly truly I say to you whoever believes in me will also do the works that I do and greater works than these will he do because I am going to the Father. 2.Mark 16:17-18 Jesus says And these signs shall follow them that believe IN MY NAME shall cast out devils, they shall speak in tongues, they shall lay hands on the sick and they shall be healed (all in the Name of Jesus but never in the name of Mohammed not Allah not jibril and surely not Al mahdi) If you go online you will see daily testimonies of millions of miracles from Alaska to Australia done only in the Holy Name of Jesus. These two verses coming from the supposedly corrupted Bible is the proof that Jesus is alive and with the church. My question is why would Jesus words stand with the ''corrupted Bible'' and not work from the ''uncorrupted Quran''. Or Muslims just say the bible is corrupted becoz if the bible is true, then the Quran is false so they don't have any option. And you Muslims like saying that Jesus only came for Jews and no one else and that Mohammed was the last prophet for the globe. Then (Mathew 28:19-20) burries this claim because Jesus commanded ( Therefore go and make DISCIPLES OF ALL NATIONS, (including Citizens of the Kaaba) baptising them in the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the holy spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely i am with you always to the very end of the age. Quick question; do muslims perform baptism which was commanded by Jesus himself if Jesus was a muslim. Brothers...revert now 3 years. Jazz man my entire life. I live for God. Wudu, Salaat, Jummah, Qur'an, Duah, Ramadan, Night prayers. I play jazz, don't worship it at all, and I also carve stone. I can change the focus and not carve images. No problem. Jazz? Depending on who you talk to you it's halal or haram. Lots of different ways of looking at it. I'm a simple person: work hard, be nice to people, hold up God as Number ONE, tell others to submit and obey, and provide for my family. It seems to be OK to live like this. Some would say I'm making gross error by playing jazz...suggestions, please? Much appreciated. When is it a good time to call and chat with somebody. Around here, Portland, Oregon, they Imam says to do my best and not get too uptight about stuff. Allah will eventually clarify things. At 72, after a life of playing for fun and profit, it does not seem correct to just give it all up like that. I do not drink nor eat pork, of course. I think you get the point.
