The fact that this is the only video that came up re. where are the wealthy black Britons? is the answer to the initial question the presenter asked. I've been in business for a number of years and the most support I've received is from my US peeps. I agree with the Queen, we don't support each other enough in the UK as we should. We definitely can and should do better. It's definitely a mindset thing.
@@abundancemindset777 Yes there’s a huge difference in how wealthy black Briton’s operate to how our counterparts in the US do, when it comes to supporting each other. We definitely can learn a lot from them. When we support, learn, grow together there’s definitely going to be more generational wealth in the Black community in the UK.
This was brilliant and of course everyone had good points, i really agree with the lady (sorry i forgot the name) in regards to the culture in UK vs America. Can names of guest be put in the info box so that maybe we can follow some of them on social media. Love this RUclips channel, i hope it grows from strength to strength.
@Cromwellian Protectorate Republican Need to make the first Hundred Thousand... Then make contact with Byron Allen and see what we can do for Media Production among our People in Europe and Africa... Step by Step. "I'm on it!!!"
Do you guys think it’s an African vs Caribbean thing. Just from what I’ve noticed Africans tend to be more driven to be rich. Open to be told I’m wrong though
+e J yes it's true. It's just cultural and the mindset. But I would also say that "wanting to be rich" didn't used to be considered a good quality in the world. We live in a more material world now
Akala speaks in his book Natives that the Caribbean itself has a much more driven towards excellence than the working class black British subculture that takes on the worst amalgamation of the yard badman ting and the yt working class delinquency. The kids that come over from home to study have got their mind right same way as African kids.
Great insights guys...but really, the little you guys think you know...its what someone else needs to kickstart. And those people are also looking up to you to know you and have you bring them up. We can start a new breed... We can start with ourselves
There are many black millionaires in the UK, and many are hidden, billionaires that is a hard one. Also there are some very high-powered Black companies in great Britain, we would not be aware of.
Great talk. As always 👌💯 I have just started a dance business and I am looking forward towards the future!!! Plus I never actually started with the 'black business' mindset and I totally agree egg having an open mindset. 90% of my support has come directly from black people anyway and I am grateful
This is great, but I must point out that blacks in the USA are going through many of the same issues. There is a need for black business people do need to work together more, not only but also internationally!
They are avoiding the tax man like most people from all races. The black community in Britian is far less in number than those in America. Their dynamics are more integrated because they have been their over 200 years. The comparison is hard to make.
There needs to be a black business capital, that serves as the economic centre, of black business. This will be the headquarters were hundreds of business can operate, decisions regarding expansion of black economy/financial viability and physical presence is made, funding smaller black business outposts in the UK. A vast database, that has all registered black owned businesses for customers to have easy access, to find a businesses that serves their needs . A network needs to be created interconnecting all black businesses, money is transferred across the network to fund other businesses, thus keeping the money in the community. Hopefully this idea, inspires someone. 😂
True. Because black America has their own banks. They’re not as many as white banks but there’s a decent number in their big cities. It would be good to have our own and not worry about business loans being rejected and always questioning if it’s race related.
A much needed conversation however I am (unsurprisingly) disappointed in the two participating men: no true self-reflection/introspection and barely any useful contribution to the debate. Hats off to Aziza and the moderator
I thought (that) the question: "Should there be millionaires/even billionaires": made a lot of sense and therefore; was Not a stupid_question (that didn't make -sense: **as the guy said!!**)??

we need need to stop this black thing like seriously. imagine there was a white business community, white art and crafts, white culture, How would we feel about it? Am starting to believe we are more racist

P.S we need a part 2 and 3 to this. So many more subjects to be talked on in regards to black wealth and business.

Couldn't agree with you more ! I just googled all of the richest black people in London and came up with 0 results beyond US/Canadian millionaires.

We don't need to fund each other's businesses. We just need to be aiming to do well for ourselves.
It would be great if the millionaires and billionaires.were more forthcoming
Respectfully where are the Black banks? why haven't our wealthy kinsman banned to toegther and done this?
