I use those clear vinyl pencil cases to hold charging cords and hang the case by those removable hooks in my kitchen cabinets. Also I use for receipts & instructions for appliances. Hang them on a cabinet door.
mine are 26 and 30! But I was watching for ideas to use with my Sunday school kids. Those storage containers are my favorite thing! They stack up so nice in my file cabinet and I just grab the ones I need and go to my classroom which is on another floor. No more dropping half my supplies on the stairs along the way! I loved the idea of the notebook files for in the car too. Where was that idea 25 -30 years ago when I needed it for our 10+ hour car trips? I used clip boards and ziplocs back then...not nearly as neat as what you showed us. But we made it work.
Those little square storage boxes are PERFECT for organizing and protecting garden seed packets. So are the pencil/pen binder pouches and locking bins come to think of it. I really enjoy Dollar Tree.
I’m one of your subscribers who is not a mom so I almost skipped this video but honestly I loved it! What you shared was so clever and can be used for lots of non-mom things 👏🏻👏🏻
Our three kids are now young adults. I can tell that you're a wonderful mother. They grow so fast and enjoy them while you can. Great video. Have a blessed day. Thank you 😊.
The pool noodle idea for paint brushes is also good for fishing poles for the angler in your life. As for birthdays or other occasions, the Dollar Tree is a greeting card GOLDMINE. I always find what I want and some of them are so touching. My baby is 35, but some of your ideas are great for me to save time and energy.
Oh my goodness, thank you so much! I’m a mom of three kids too, and some of these hacks are things I never would’ve dreamed up. Especially the paintbrush with the pool noodle, we always have paint brushes, rolling off the table and onto the floor. And the travel binder with the busy sensory toys is awesome! Fact that buying less of a dollar tree means less clutter. Sometimes we don’t need that bulk!
My son is 45. Watched your video anyway. You never know what you might come across. That little game thing where the little one is putting the rings together is just the thing I’m looking for. Our church does Operation Christmas Child boxes. I’m working on finishing mine up for this coming Christmas (2024). I do my boxes for little girls ages 2-4. Always excited when I can find something new to add to the little ones boxes. Thank you for the ideas Kalli!
Loved some of your hacks! As a retired Preschool teacher, we used manipulative binders and letters, number, shape and color sorting binders as well!! As a Grandma, I loved the glow sticks the disco light and the pool noodle ideas!! Great going!! Thank you!!
Thanks for the ideas. You are always so full of hacks I never think of. I am a 82 year old great grandmother and you have given me some great ideas for next Christmas when the whole family was here. By then they will be 7, 3 1/2 and 21/2. Of course the 7 year old is a little spoiled, maybe more than a little by both sides. With the age difference, I worry about small things with the little ones but want to occupy them all. Of course they get gifts from everyone and some are good for a very busy evening and some are not. If you have any great ideas, this might be a good video for you to put out in the fall. In the meantime, I really enjoy your show.
I watch so many videos with mediocre tips for Dollar Tree stuff (that aren’t actually helpful or are super cheap and will just break) but this LEGIT has some great tips! I’ll be trying some of these. Thanks!!!!!!
those little storage bins are for photos! we keep all our family photos in them organised by year; and they all fit into special boxes with carrying handles to make it easier to move them around to look at the pics (or in case you need to... grab them in a hurry)
Great tips as always! Parents please beware of the HINGE part of the door. It’s much more dangerous! My 15 month old just had to get 3 stitches in his fingertip and nail put back in place. Just wanted to mention it bc I see solutions for finger guards a lot but no one talks about the other side! I bought hinge guards on Amazon right after it happened.
Oh, that is so good you’ve mentioned that side of the door. My daughter (as a child) was pinched there, too. I’m going to look them up on Amazon right now !!! And, great video !!!!
That is a great point about the phonics items. Making your own with your kids and having them personalise it makes it so much better and enjoyable too.
My son is 21 years old. What you call the snack holders, he uses as a shower caddy. I love all of these tips and I love Dollar Tree, so thank you for this video.
I am 20 now, and for as long as I can remember, my mom would surprise me in the morning of my birthday with Dollar tree decorations and I have always looked forward to it
Easy to teach reading, use "Teach your child in 100 Easy Lessons" by Siegfried Engelmann. Just follow the instructions and take it lesson by lesson, at the end your child will be reading. Also teach you children the basic Dolch sight words, they start at pre kindergarten and go up by grade. Once your child can read these words and sound out those they don't know they can read anything. I taught my grandson and he read 4th grade level in 1st grade.
I watched this to the end. I love how you didn’t take 3 mins of unnecessary explaining to get to the point! And my children are all adults. Absolutely love all these ideas! I just wish you were around 40 yrs ago 😂.
I don't have kids, but I see some great organizing and craft ideas I can use in here. I also care for a person with dementia, and some of the ways to entertain kids would work great for some dementia patients - such as the activity binder (genius!), the plastic slinky, the balloons (balloon toss is a popular dementia game) and gift wrapping.
My 4 boys are in there 20’s. These are great ideas! I have another one I used to use. A small rolling pin, plastic placemat and cookie cutters. I would pair it with homemade play dough (the cooked one ) it doesn’t dry out and smells like whatever flavor unsweetened koolaide you use. Inevitably, other kids would always want to join in on the fun.
The plastic document file holder that closes with a rubber band will work good too instead of the binder for the travel art supplies in the plastic pencil holders.
Great ideas! As to the phonics cards, “orange” is pronounced with a short o in Philadelphia. It is a regional difference. I am from CA and pronounce the o with long sound. It just depends where you live. I do agree that the publishers should have chosen a different word that is more universal in pronunciation. I am a reading specialist btw.
😂 TAPE 🤣🤣 You slay me! The paint brush hack is so smart. My husband owns a wood shop and his cats are always stealing his brushes. Im buying him his own pool-noodle!
The section about the tape I nearly died. It’s so true. I buy the Costco packs of tape and they all go missing. To make Barbie clothes or tape up who knows what lol. Tape gremlins 😂
No kids but the disco light is good for dancing at home 😊. Brain flakes look like what we used to put in the middle of a 45” single record to play on record player. Lol
Tape! Lol, I lie and tell my kids we have no tape. Also, the one roll of tape left over from Christmas, I packed it away with Christmas so I could atleast save myself some. My kids even used a whole role of my painters tape 🤦🏽♀️, No tape is safe!
I got some of those small containers (first video item) at the dollar tree some years ago. Then, I went back to get more. I've only used two of them, in the garage.
Hi 1st time watching i know this doesn’t have to do with this video but the slinky’s going down your steps omg I love your picture wall. Did you do that all yourself? Where did you get the pics frames ..?
Trying to like the video for the fourth time but wanting to say for pool noodles: I tried to find bumper covers for my neurodivergent kiddo a while back for her floor bed that has rails... I didn't see anything but fluffy pillow things to put under sheets on amzn to keep kids from falling off the bed. Maybe I wasn't searching for the right thing but I finally just got pool noodles and slit them down part way and a perfect bumper cover was born!
10 months later one of them has split but is super easy to replace. Also, that is likely my fault as I sit on them as I watch her play with her toys lol
When we lived in a house with steps, i had the bright yellow glow stick and if the power went out, I would put them on the steps to avoid falls. Would put in any bathroom for light to.
I use those clear vinyl pencil cases to hold charging cords and hang the case by those removable hooks in my kitchen cabinets. Also I use for receipts & instructions for appliances. Hang them on a cabinet door.
Hmm cool idea
My sons are 20 and 15 and I still watched this whole thing. 😂 Thanks, Kallie!
Me too! My boys at 22 and 17!

Lol! My Grands are 10 and 13 and I watched. 😅
Yep, mine are 18, 20, & 26 😂 But I’ve been watching for years!
I’m 73 and never had kids and still enjoy her videos! 😂😂😂
😊😂😂😂😊 I almost feel out of my chair when you said tape!!!! I can relate. Thanks for the constant flow of videos. I appreciate you!
Those little square storage boxes are PERFECT for organizing and protecting garden seed packets. So are the pencil/pen binder pouches and locking bins come to think of it.
I really enjoy Dollar Tree.
Wondering if you know what kind of bins these are? I see them on Amazon but it’s like $15 minimum for a small amount of them.
Where do you find those little storage bins?
@@Mick587 I see them in the Dollar Tree stores in the stationary section, near the index cards.
I’m one of your subscribers who is not a mom so I almost skipped this video but honestly I loved it! What you shared was so clever and can be used for lots of non-mom things 👏🏻👏🏻
I agree 100%. My daughter is 25 & I enjoyed the video. --------Amelia Storms
True that 👍
Retired elementary teacher, Mom of two, 42 and 37, and a grandma. Love you ideas!!! Hello from Idaho🎉
Our three kids are now young adults. I can tell that you're a wonderful mother. They grow so fast and enjoy them while you can. Great video. Have a blessed day. Thank you 😊.
Ik u aren’t a beauty channel, but I would love to see ur everyday hair & makeup routine as a busy mom bc u look stunning!

1:10 Finley's face 😂 like "mom, why are you serving me in the car?!" ❤

Glow sticks in the bath tub?! My grandkids will love that.
Great tips as always!

Ahhh, I had not thought of that! We only ever got our fingers caught in the car/van doors. Brilliant!
That is a great point about the phonics items. Making your own with your kids and having them personalise it makes it so much better and enjoyable too.
My kids struggle with soup and spoons, but they love it with those bowls
No kids here, but this video was so enjoyable and informative. And your kiddos are adorable!
Kallie, I didn't see the link to the kids' nutritionist that you referenced. Can you post it please?
Looks like your pup loves slinky’s too! So cute 🥰
I don’t have any little ones but I got some ideas for my stationary. Great video for young and older 😊.
My son is 21 years old. What you call the snack holders, he uses as a shower caddy. I love all of these tips and I love Dollar Tree, so thank you for this video.
I’ll send this to my daughter, lots of great ideas for when her little guy is older!! Thank you
I am 20 now, and for as long as I can remember, my mom would surprise me in the morning of my birthday with Dollar tree decorations and I have always looked forward to it
Omg! Your kids are growing up so fast! I remember when you were oldest was tiny !
That last hack with the pool noodle for the paintbrushes!! Genius!!
AH! the little bins for card games!!! I LOVE that!!!! Running to DT NOW!!!!
These are GOLD! Thank you!
Your kids are so cute!!!!!!!
Also I never would have thought of the wrapping paper “scraps” for the kids, what a great idea!!
Slinky was one of my favorite toys! Tfs. Love your videos. 🩷
Agreeing with other comments my daughter is now 28, but I love watching all your Dollar Tree finds and still wish they’d open in the UK.
Pound Tree? 😅😊
my daughter's 39 and we don't even have a Dollar Tree, but I loved this and watched it all.
TY Kal for taking care of us too as well as ur own family lol❤
Great ideas in your video! Love the binder idea with games. Thanks for making life easy! 👍
My kids are grown, but, it was some great ideas and hacks. Thank you. Have a blessed day
What great hacks! You always come up with the best ideas. My daughter is 41 but I enjoyed watching this and all your videos.
There are no Dollar Tree shops here in Germany but I still love your tips! Thank you for that 💖
I love how creative you are!! ❤❤
I didn't see where you linked your nutritionist friend. Also homeschool mom here, I would love for you to give some reading tips!!

Yes, please link her name :)
Love your hacks, wish I had them when my kids were little! They are 35, 33 and 33 now. Thanks for sharing!
I watched this to the end. I love how you didn’t take 3 mins of unnecessary explaining to get to the point! And my children are all adults. Absolutely love all these ideas! I just wish you were around 40 yrs ago 😂.
Gorgeous as ever and so many great tips! I’ve been watching your for years now and girl, you don’t age!! Beautiful family!! I have 4 littles myself.
Great tips I only with I had seen this video 30 years ago when my kids were young. 😆
Me too! I have little next door neighbors that id love use these ideas
LOVE the travel binder! Doing this 🎉
Slinky- plastic one stretches and breaks just like metal one. Atleast in my kids hands 😂
These are FANTASTIC!!! Where were you 14 years ago when I had my baby :)
The paint brush hack is genius!! I'm going to use it myself!
Laura
My 4 boys are in there 20’s. These are great ideas!
I have another one I used to use. A small rolling pin, plastic placemat and cookie cutters. I would pair it with homemade play dough (the cooked one ) it doesn’t dry out and smells like whatever flavor unsweetened koolaide you use. Inevitably, other kids would always want to join in on the fun.
Can you please share play doh recipe?
The plastic document file holder that closes with a rubber band will work good too instead of the binder for the travel art supplies in the plastic pencil holders.
Thanks Kal for correcting the phonics issue!! Big time! Takes a true teacher ❤ and that’s you!❤
Great ideas!

You r a wonderful mum❤
As always! Such a good quality content! Thank you
😂 TAPE 🤣🤣 You slay me! The paint brush hack is so smart. My husband owns a wood shop and his cats are always stealing his brushes. Im buying him his own pool-noodle!
You're a great mom. 🥰
I'm not a mom but I've used those plastic bins for photos & storage of beads for my jewelry making crafts ❤
Popsicle baths too!!
I have been trying to buy those small bin that you stored the cards and have NOT come across those yet. 😭
also can’t find the larger locking bins
Thank you I learned so much while watching this
Yessss! Thanks these are great!!
Brain Flakes😂❤
I just knew somebody would come up with a use for those 45 RPM record adapters we used to use as teens!
Lol! We're showing our age.
The tape part 😂 so true
The section about the tape I nearly died. It’s so true. I buy the Costco packs of tape and they all go missing. To make Barbie clothes or tape up who knows what lol. Tape gremlins 😂
You always have such great ideas. I loved Dollar Tree when I was teaching. Totally agree about the phonics cards.
Omg thank you for the slinky review! My daughter wanted one last time we went and I refused to get it because I assumed it was trash LOL
Great ideas ❤
I wish I had this video, or even thought of some of these things when my oldest kids were little❤ great ideas
Id buy the slinky just cause Olive loves it.
No kids but the disco light is good for dancing at home 😊. Brain flakes look like what we used to put in the middle of a 45” single record to play on record player. Lol
So good, thank you! I can tell you’re an amazing mom. 💫✨
You always make me want to go to the dollar tree, but mine never has good stuff like this!
Tape! Lol, I lie and tell my kids we have no tape. Also, the one roll of tape left over from Christmas, I packed it away with Christmas so I could atleast save myself some. My kids even used a whole role of my painters tape 🤦🏽♀️, No tape is safe!
ha ha ha ha ha ha ha
If you get the confetti balloons take the tissue paper circles out when they pop. It made cute ornaments on a Christmas tree art project for the kids.
I love your videos. Where did you get those plastic photo storage boxes? I can’t find them at any Dollar Tree or their website.
I just love these ideas....😊
Lol tape kids use all your tape. So true when they get older they will also steal your scissors!😀
Thank you for your video
I love allll your videos. Thank you so much 💓
Great video! Side note, my kid has broken the dollar tree slinky... but I agree they are more durable than the metal ones.
You are so clever! I wouldn't have thought of a lot of these uses. The tape comment killed me! Lol.
Great tips
I'm watching this for my grandkids.
I got some of those small containers (first video item) at the dollar tree some years ago. Then, I went back to get more. I've only used two of them, in the garage.
I wish I knew about that pool noodle hack 10 years ago 😂
Awesome. Love your video
Love this simple but effective and wellthought video! Ur neighbor from CT😊
Love these hacks!
Tape... Yup. Made me laugh
Hi 1st time watching i know this doesn’t have to do with this video but the slinky’s going down your steps omg I love your picture wall. Did you do that all yourself? Where did you get the pics frames ..?

Absolutely love ❤️
Thank you for the great ideas. I love the dollar tree and I have almost 2 year old.
Great entry!!
Hi Kallie. Great video. Please could you share the 'picky eater' account you mentioned? Many thanks
I love all these tips! Thank you 🥰
When we lived in a house with steps, i had the bright yellow glow stick and if the power went out, I would put them on the steps to avoid falls. Would put in any bathroom for light to.
2min in and already some of the best tips I've ever seen 👏
