I've got the same monitor and the XBOX Series S. For me fonts are getting oversharpened resulting in pixelated artifacts around fonts, especially in games. Don't know what to do about that. What I find interesting is that these artifacts even show up on screenshots. So probably rather a faulty Series S setting than a monitor setting. I could share the screenshot but unfortunately not here on youtube.
@@BainCustom I think it's the Series S resolution of the game. Many times the Series S has a "dynamic" resolution of the game unless you lock on 1440p in the system. Pretty much all of the boxes including the variable refresh rate. The options that are greyed out are not compatible with the monitor given the current settings.
So I've had a BenQ for like a decade. It's the old MLG certified one that all the COD pros used to use. 1080p 60hz 1ms response time etc etc I'm sure you know the one. I know about jack shit when it comes to monitors but I have a decent eye for detail when I'm actually playing a game and am pretty sensitive to motion blur and the like. If not this then anything else in the 1k range?
That is a great question. I can't say with 100% certainty that you will be extremely happy with motion. But I do know that this Acer had probably the best motion overall from the 4k monitors I have reviewed. That seems to be true for their Nitro monitors across the board. From 60 to 120hz there is a noticeable difference though, and it is a big boost imo.

Hi, awesome video! Im still not sure wich monitor I should get for my Xbox S X, this one, or the G70A? The G70A is €50 more expensive rn in Belgium, but is it better? What do you think?
I think it's better to invest on a TV with HDMI 2.1 and VRR. As monitors go, Xbox will do better on virtually any monitor, but PS5 you go with either 1080p 144hz or 4K 60hz. Of course have HDR. Do research on your own. It's beneficial.
TV's are always a good option when they are 2.1 capable. You just have to have the space or be a more casual gamer. Nonetheless, my Samsung q80 performs really well on console!
Different user case. A TV is at least 42 inch. This is 28 inch and can fit a desk. You can also connect a laptop to it. That's my plan, a laptop and a Xbox SX for working and gaming.
@@crzxm Yes, but the 27 has higher PPI and a smaller screen is also more suitable for FPS competitive games, the one I play. It all comes down to user case.

Not sure which Nitro you mean. This is the Nitro 4k model, chances are you are looking at the same monitor and might be thinking this is different because of the title. It is just certified as an xbox monitor as well. Worked great on PC, I did a full review video on it! Good luck and GG's!

Thank you for your videos i help a lot! So, witch monitor should i buy if i play play warzone and use xbox series x ? I want the best gaming monitor for this game ? What is your recommend? (27-32)

Hi! So I purchased my son a Acer 32” curved 1920X1020 HDMI, and he can’t get it to connect with his Xbox series X. Is it anything I can do to help him? Or did I purchase the wrong type?
Now it's 550 USD in Europe and it has USB-C with 65w power so I bought this for my Xbox SX and MacBook Air M1. Hopefully this will be good for both gaming and working. Do anyone know if I can plug a webcam and podcast mic directly into the monitor and it will connect to the MacBook Air via the USB-C cable?

What monitor do you recommend for the Xbox series S? I mainly warzone, fps shooters competitive etc, i care about frames than anything do you think 1080p or 1440p?
That really depends. I would recommend quite a few monitors for the series s. But personally I think 1080p can be good, but 1440p is better. Don't go larger than 27 inches and find something with good motion capability.
@@BainCustom which ones would I recommend so I can take a look at? Looking for a monitor for my series s my max I would drop would be $250 on a monitor rn
Would buy a 1080p monitor for Xbox SS. I have a Xbox SS on a 1440p monitor and some of the games looks a little grainy on 1440p, other games on the other hand looks fantastic. I still think I would just go for 1080 as all games support that.
Get a 1080p 120hz like the BenQ EX2510s if all you want to play is warzone. That will give you everything you need and not any more. But if you want the extra graphics and so on, then get the samsung.
Depends. I hear the Acer is on a massive sale right now. So it would be worth the buy over the Gigabyte if that is still the case. If not, the best available price between the two is what I would choose.
Similar performance to the series s, but the series X just has a better rendering capability. So typically you will see better HDR performance and overall fidelity.

Set up that monitor. Play with your overdrive settings in the menu and some of the advanced features. Is your game running at 60hz? If so, the monitor isn't the issue. It is the game itself.
For sure it will. It may vary in performance based on each game and the settings that you have both with the monitor and PS5. But it will give you the HDMI 2.1 experience on PS5.
