- This is the 1st day of "Knight" release on Test Server, so remember that many things still can be changed by dev. This is an early guide and early tips for him, that would be updated too based on need and situation, keep in mind that strategy need to be upgraded all the time! I tried to simplyfied the skill explanation for him too. Anyway I tried to get TS while doing bluetooth rescue animation (just like on the trailer) but somehow I couldn't get TS when doing it, not sure if they removed the TS or the timing is not that correct because of yellow ping. However I hope this video can still be helpful for you to understand more about him, and for hunter main to analyze which strategy to countered him too. Imo, hunter that can give damage with skill or multidamage will be more best counter for him because it could be more tricky with the predicting skill. I KNEW THERE WAS SOMETHING ABOUT HIM THAT WASN’T MENTIONED IN HIS ABILITY SHOWCASE! Turns out that his main ability has a decently long CD of 15 seconds and is limited to 3 uses. That honestly makes a lot of sense, given how strong it is. I think everyone initially assumed it was a spammable ability like Louis or Prof’s scales. Thankfully, since it’s a limited ability, players need to be more tactical about using it, rather than spamming the heck out of it. It’s kinda like GK’s shovels or FO’s watches in that sense.

@@shamanking77 Even with inspiration, that just means he’s only have one ability use left. I’d figure it would be better to save the ability for critical moments rather than spam it early on.
Prof isn't spammable, after the first you have to wait a moment to be able to scale again.

It's about what I expected- I've been predicting he'll be in the B or A tier of survivors, or a gimmicky survivor like Annie. Still, i'm so excited to get to play him! Here's hoping his s tier is garbage, so I won't want it!

@@Eli_Clark. Thats what im trying to say, Eli is good with every hunters except some like Ivy. Therefore, he has a fking high banning rate of nearly 47% in the 7th rank CN server
The same with him, countering most of the hunters especially the meta hunters

Geishagaming is always so fast, I really wanted to see him in game thank you! Also tip you should always guess 2 things at a time (like stale mate and attack) that's why he has like 7 guesses but only 3 item uses, it will help cut the chances of guessing wrong.

Stale mate is only available on the 2nd guess / prediction.

So the tips especially like let say facing BQ is, when we know the mirror is cool down then the 1st prediction supposed to be attack, then 2nd can be ability or stale mate. but if mirror is available then 1st prediction better ability, then 2nd prediction is either attack or stale mate

@@GEISHAGAMINGI think he’ll ember might counter them because he can hold the skill before getting near and then use it and if it gets a check mark that means he can attack since he doesn’t lost hunt when holding it. But I’ll have to test it out hopefully you can test it for me? Thanks!

I don’t really think he needs tide turner because if hunter will hit him first it’s gunna be hard to rescue again at half health with high risk. Plus his shield acts as a mini tide. He is more containment with side rescue
honestly, i'm disappointed his ability isn't unlimited. (like professor, just with a long cooldown, which i think is much better) in the trailer it really gave that vibe:/ sadly i don't think he'll be all that meta. but ykykyk you never know until hes in the game
oh my god and if u get the first wrong u cant guess the second??? and the chip hit thing only lasts 4 seconds??? he is so disappointing what :(
limited item doesn't make character weak, look at antiquarian she's still meta tho, the facts that 3 helmets enough to kite 60s and enough 3 ciphers, he's balance now for me doesn't look OP like the trailer but still strong at least A maybe A+

And at end game closer to 1 cipher hunters usually try to deplete survivor items and stall out games (ivy, sangria) whilst hunters have unlimited. It’s my theory anyways that survivors with regenerative abilities will last longer in this current meta
I thought his skills would be canceled during rescue :0 does that mean he can block the hunter's attack and ability before rescuing or did I misunderstand? Since you used the bluetooth rescue, so I got confused 💔

Yesss that's what I did on intro, I lock the attack first with his first skill then I use bluetooth rescue skill. It will help a lot when we are injured and still have to rescue ☺
Thank you so much for this video! I found him so overwhelming and confusing, but your video clarified his kit in the best manner possible. He's gonna be a multi task Professor, having to predict if or when the hunter will attack 😅
I also wanted to ask, do you happen to know if the skill prediction also blocks the trait? Just like Mike's fire bomb impedes the hunter from using skill and trait

Can he used his bluetooth rescue even if there is a wall between him and the chair as long as he is in range or does he need a clear path to the chair? Also thank you for the video, I'm so excited for knight!

Yeah, It was shown in his trailer that you can cancel the Bluetooth rescue, and use it again when it is safe.😅

Yes yes can cancel the bluetooth rescuing by moving the left controller, then after that you can immediately do that again

He can make the hunter skill block but what about ripper? Is his skill the fog blade or the invinsible?
Will ripper forgbladel get block before or after attack? Cause he does need to attack to released fog blade
@@moon-m5i6o he can block jack fog blade if you predict attack, cuz jack have to swing his arm and that count as an attack , but for invisible I'm not sure

You can still predict but there is a timer to predict the second time. The timer will be shortened if hunter is chasing someone else and the effect will be weakened
geishaa, if the hunter pick someone up and knight predict attack and the hunter attacks then. Will the survivor be dropped?

@@GEISHAGAMING Geisha , have you tried using prediction attack to stun hunter and hunter use excitement to see if hunter can cancel the inspect weapon animation or not?
And also if hunter use blink , and you use predict ability does it cancel hunter blink or it doesn't count as ability?
