    Psychedelics saved me from years of uncontrollable depression, anxiety, and illicit pills addiction. Imagine carving heavy chains for over a decade and then all of a sudden that burden is gone. Believe it or not, in a couple of years they'll be all over for treatment of mental health related issues.

      To be honest, mushrooms are one of the most amazing things on the planet and it is natural, they serve in many ways not only for mental related issues.

      Can you help me with a reliable source I would really appreciate it. Many people talk about mushrooms and psychedelics but nobody talks about where to get them. It is very hard to get a reliable source here in New Zealand. Really need!

      I wish they were readily available in my place.
      Microdosing was my next plan of care for my husband. He's 59 & has many mental health issues plus probably CTE & a TBI that left him in a coma 8 days. It's too late now I had to get a TPO as he's 6'6 300+ pound homicidal maniac. He's constantly talking about killing someone.
      He's violent. Anyone reading this Familiar w/ BPD knows if it is common for an obsession with violence.

      Truth! I've suffered severe anxiety for the past year it got to the point where I had forgotton what a normal state of mind felt like. But now being on 15mg (3 5mg) a day for the past month makes me feel as close as what I think life should be. Has literally saved me from myself (suicide)

    • @BereichAllgemein
      @BereichAllgemein 4 года назад

      also true for me. When i take a benzo all suicidal thoughts are gone. I take it as needed as well, never on a regular base. I prefer the shorter acting Lorazepam. Also tried Alprazolam(xanax) but this one made me very dizzy.
      @@melanielawton9616 Pls be aware of addiction. I know it does such a perfect job, just stay save :) 6 Weeks is the maximum for most people bevore they feel withdraw, as far as i know.

      I have random anxiety attacks that literally come out of nowhere, usually when I’m talking to more than 1 person but it doesn’t happen all the time. I’m a pretty social person as well. Strange how the body/mind works. I’ve taken Valium before recreationally and it made me not give a shit about anything, sometimes I can be a worry wart. This was a few years ago but I had them prescribed to me for alcohol withdrawals (15 years of alcohol dependency) as well as beta blockers as I was having tremors, panic attacks and severe insomnia. The Valium albeit only 2mg only helped but made me super tired and lethargic whereas when I took it recreationally (15mgs) I felt more euphoric than tired. I’m now over the alcohol withdrawals that took a solid month to pass, and finished the Valium prescription. I think exercise and eating healthy is key to a healthy mind.

    By the way, there's a difference between being "high" and being sleepy, drowsy, and relaxed. I don't take Valium to get "high". High is when you're feeling euphoric and on top of the world. Valium just makes me feel comfortable and takes my anxiety away...just wanted to clarify that.

    Diazepam (generic Valium) prescribed at 10mg 3 x day took me from such severe anxiety I was off school for months because I'd have such bad panic attacks I'd literally just run out in the middle of class to either cry and hyperventilate and cry in the bathroom or run to the nurse because I honestly thought I was dying.

My anxiety is so high Its insane at times. With that said. I see u are off it. I came off for about 2 or 3 months and once i had a moment of high anxiety i had to go right back to them. And now i cant even imagine not having them. Here's what you do: You can take 2 to 3 10 mg valium, but make sure you follow it with a cup of Joe. I'm not a coffee drinker normally, but I discovered that caffeine will take the edge off of the sedative just enough to allow for a nice mellow buzz, without the stumbling/bumbling goofiness. You can do what you need to or wanna do & be normal, nice & mellow. I just do it a couple times a week. Forget the alcohol - it makes things worse. Valium used this way, also helps with mild muscle spasms.

    In my experience drugs only pause the issue. In order to get mental and physical relief I had to have the break down. Sober. Alsopaying attention to the way I felt while talking to different people and then cutting off friends and family who had a negative imapct, which was pretty much everyone. And let me tell you.. I feel amazing now. Building life again but the knot in my soul is completely gone. Dismiss thought and people that detract from your happiness until youre better at least.

    I took one 5mg today for the first time. Never used anything like this before.
    My situation is that my ex wife is trying to take my 12yo daughter away and reopening our legal case, claiming all sorts of things that aren't true. It has stressed me out so much that I could barely breathe. I tried my asthma inhaler but that didn't help. Spent 2 days feeling like I was suffocating. Called my GP and he prescribed this. So I took one and then took a nap.
    Woke up a couple hours later feeling... normal. Which is to say that I feel like I really don't have anything to worry about. It's such an odd feeling considering what is happening. But yeah, it's amazing and I'm happy that I don't have a drunk or drowsy feeling... just normal. Oh, and I can breathe just fine! I think my body was begging for tons of oxygen that I just couldn't get in order to fuel my fight or flight response. Now, I feel fine. Yay valpam. But I will have to be careful to not build up a tolerance. Since my stress is caused by external sources, maybe this can just help me gain perspective and hopefully last beyond the time the drug wears off.

    Prescription meds never did me any good. If anything, they made me worse than I was to begin with. I've been on Valium, Klonopin, SSRI's, and many others. The only meds that ever helped me at all was Klonopin and gabapentin. Both of these only worked for a short time and became ineffective within a few months. 3 years ago I started watching a lot of self help videos and reading a lot of books. After compulsively doing this for a year straight, it seemed like a light bulb turned on. It was like being blind my entire life and suddenly being able to see. Of course this is just my experience and everyone is different. But that's what worked for me. Good luck to everyone. Mental illness sucks and I wish you all the best!

    Thankyou for this video. Diazepam is also prescribed for muscle spasms. For my bad back its the only thing that helps. In the UK doctors are VERY reluctant to prescribe it! And i have only been prescribed one box at a time with no repeat prescription! I dont drink or smoke and find an almost immediate improvement. My stiff back loosens up and the pain eases, But this is not a pain killer! And these benefits are temporary. Within a week it gets less effective as tolerance builds up.

      Try a full Bowen therapy session [usually one hour or there abouts] works on your entire body - all your muscles will relax. I have nerve root irritation due to bulging disc between L3 and L4 - when I first got the pain my back was in muscle guarding and spasm for a week - really sore and couldn't get in/out of the car. After my first Bowen session I could get in the car no probs. I am managing my disc issue with exercises however that first Bowen session was like going on a short holiday from life. Really reset me. Recommend over drugs - but you gotta pay for it. Problem is drugs are a cheap way for the NHS to treat people... when they should be prescribing alternatives.

    I don't think you should describe the effect of diazepam as making you high. You don't get a buzz, it just makes your mood slightly flat. You should never mix it with other central nervous system depressants unless advised to by a doctor. Like the guy said, don't drive or operate machinery. Don't mix with alcohol.
    Ideally this guy should deal with his issues without resorting to drugs. Medication for anxiety is addictive. With addiction you have to deal with the problem you started with plus the withdrawal. Get well. Stay well. Peace.

      HumanoidOrganism the only way I ever felt high on Valium was the 10mg tablets mixed with alcohol, I don't recommend this it nearly killed me. Valium does help alcohol withdrawal if used correctly

    • @TheNick279
      @TheNick279 7 лет назад +4

      That is the problem. You can die from an alcohol overdose on its own (Amy Winehouse). Usually your protective reflexes protect your airway but if you drink too much alcohol and go unconscious your cough reflex may be obtunded or absent and your stomach contents can block your airway causing asphyxia. You won't wake up. Alcohol and other central nervous system depressants act synergistically - the effects are magnified. Diazepam cannot make you "high" in the normal sense of the word i.e. feeling "good", energised, giggly, etc. It dampens down your level of arousal and if taken too frequently can cause depression (as in the mood disorder).
      Alcohol withdrawal is a serious medical condition which can result in death. Alcoholics should never go "cold turkey". If an alcoholic wants to stop drinking they should do so under medical supervision. Diazepam and other benzodiazepines e.g. chlordiazepoxide (Librium) are used in a controlled way over a number of days to stop the alcoholic having alcohol withdrawal symptoms like seizures (like epileptic fits), hallucinations, shakes, etc.
      If anyone out there is feeling suicidal PLEASE GET HELP. Don't try to obliterate your feelings with alcohol or other drugs. Don't confuse central nervous system depressants with antidepressants - they are totally different. If you really want a break from reality occasionally smoke some cannabis. Ideally get medical help for your mood disorder. Don't mess with any recreational drugs except weed and don't even smoke weed if you are too young - unless your want to risk developing psychosis (true "madness") where you lose contact with reality. Yeah, it doesn't get you "high". Valium usually just makes people mellow. Also, Valium has fillers in it that make it dangerous for people to take a lot of it, in an attempts to stave people from using it to get really sedated. This is why people can OD on Valium, but it's much harder to OD on Xanax, Klonopin, or Ativan(unless you mix these with another CNS depressant like opiates and alcohol).

    Treat it as a short term solution for your anxiety. To get you through a bad patch every now and then. Don't take it when you have important shit to do on a particular day. Take it in the evening. Don't take it constantly. If you find yourself taking it every day/night that's a problem. Recognise it and STOP. If you're having a panic attack go home (if you can) take a tablet and turn off the world for the day. Tomorrow is another day. Don't get addicted, don't put pressure on yourself, life is tough on you already without you adding to it, find outlets for anxiety. Exercises, check your diet, go on hikes, long walks, avoid crowds, meditate.

    Partying on this drug is not a good idea. You not only get sedated, but depression is another side effect. If you are not in the right mindset DONT DO IT. I had a coworker who was a field medic for the army and said that if you take too much you can stop breathing.
    For me I take half (or less) of a 10mg. This stuff has been prescribed to me for several years for my anxiety and stress. I love to take it once a week or less often. I tried to see if I could take the smallest dosage everyday for like a week and my libido got messed up and I would wake up tired and sluggish so I would drink a monster. After doing this for like a week. At the end of the week I swear I shat so much I thought I was going to DIE. This stuff helps out really well and it really helps me when taken responsibly.

It sucks sitting there unable to be still. You can control it to an extent, but your muscles feel like they’re on fire because they want to stretch all the time. It’s such a weird feeling.

I got given 5 2mg tablets before a psychiatrist gave me a regular dose of 5mg supply. valium according to my psychiatrist, CAN/MIGHT stay in effect for 20 hours depending on your body weight and metabolism. Drinking grapefruit can increase the levels of valium in the body so its "not recommended"to have it with grapefruit. i am usually on xanax, but due to covid, xanax and klonopin is unavailable in the Middle east due to shortage and labs not producing the same as they usually do. however my doctor warned me that valium is more sedative than xanax. xanax is not as sedating . they both equally reduce anxiety. but valium makes you more sedated for sure. i took one 5mg tablet at around 8pm at night and the next morning i was soooo sleepy. i dont have anxiety in the morning because its so calm and quiet and everyone is still asleep ( 5 am- 7 am) so i felt like my body grinded to a halt but yeah. i prefer xanax over this.

      Benzodiazepines are pretty mild and boring in general. People with little to no anxiety, insomnia or stress or anything like that don't necessarily feel drugged on them, because they already have enough GABA in the brain, and that GABA is effective enough. While someone with extreme anxiety might even feel euphoric on benzos because their anxiety goes away, which can feel reeeeaaaaally good when you constantly live with anxiety.
      But just because it feels mild doesn't mean you don't get addicted. It's inevitable if you take them often, just like it is inevitable to become fat if you eat 10 pizzas a day. edit: it's physical; let's just say that. It's not placebo or imagined. And on benzos, just like alcohol, you can experience delusions of sobriety, where you think you're perfectly sober until you drive your car into the ocean.

And I only plan on taking it when I really need it. When the ER gave me a Valium it got me not drowsy but... more out of my head and present.

    Relaxation is one thing, but no zam, pam, or Lam get's you high. Big difference between Schedule IV,'s & professional grade, full auto schedule II's. The only benzo that gets it right (for everything) is Pfizer's original, & it's plethora of generic XANAX manufactures.
    If having problems (I get you, not making light) but Benzo's are the least bothersome. At the end of the day Valium should be given OTC status......Like Tylenol PM, but with a Daytime Use label on it.

      Prescribed or street? The street is best.

    It's illegalized in the Netherlands. They used to sell it to everyone, but now you need a prescription. So people turn to street Valium, and snort it. I don't use it, but I see it in a close circle to me.

    i think you talk to easy on this drug. I had to take it for my very strong panick attacks because everytime i was ending up in ER: I got this drug and it helped alot. Basicly 100%. But you cannot take this drug for longer than a few weeks and saying that "u take it when u need it" will lead you to adiction anyway. And it damages your brain. I was taking it for my panick attacks for 10 years and i cant quit this shit. I leads to severe depression and hopless life. Please people do your research before you take it. Its so terrible to get off it. Just watch the videos like: coming off benzo, benzo withdrawal ect. You will see how many years after being clean these people suffer. You have to do micro tappering and even so, you still gona suffer for many many months. Some people suffer for years! And valium and xanax are the worst!!! They work the best for anxiety and panick attacks and you feel do relaxed and releases from the fuc...ing anxiety and it feel like a balsam o your heart but they are also the worst to quit. And belive me if you take it for some time it will ruin you and your life. It impares thinking and brings depression. You will want to quit but you might be nt able. I was taking it for my panick attacks and now im on antidepressants maybe for the rest of my llife. From 3 mg lorazepma daily i managed to quit 1mg so now im on 2mg but you know how long it took to quit this 1mg??? Nearlly 2 years. My life is in ruin because i have depression now, addiction to benzo, plus cant focus, have not good relation with other people, overthinking one silly thing for days, emotional disfunctions, problems with taking decisions (even when buying a tshirt i come back after hours of shopping without any) and many many other shity things but i just stop here because its already a very long comment. ...

      lunaticatiga I've been given this med for a chronic migraine without any further info from the doctor. Hence the RUclips search.
      My migraines and Trig. neuralgia keep me in a similar state as you described regarding your health problem - simply no life. I am truly sorry to hear/read how you're doing. I'm about to try injectable homeopathics. They take longer to work but I know many people whose lives got muuuuuuch better after hom.therapy. Please consider it. Fingers crossed. Take care ❤

      I'm sorry for all you been through. Well, I would like to address your worries and say maybe you are overthinking it. The deliberate usage of valium does make you addicted and that can lead to a serious depression, but it's not only that. Depression also needs an ambient to develop, so more than the correct usage of this drugs, you must have to be accompanied by a good professional therapist. One that works well for you.

    It changes the conditioning of the mind or consciousness so that way we no longer conditioned for decomposition. The conditioning of a beginning middle and end does not exist. It is found in nature and it is what meditation feels like

      You can eventually switch to Passion Flower if you want to go natural. The Passion Flower will also help with the withdrawal from Valium. Alcohol causes withdrawals, and so does Valium. Pharmaceutical companies wanted your money over the alcohol manufacturer getting your money. Funny how that works. Get you off one drug, and onto another. Alcohol and Valium have a very similar mechanism of action. Valium is less toxic, but more physiologically addicting.

      Yeah, takes the edge off the savage withdrawals but there's no escaping the mega anxiety, depression, guilt, suicidal thoughts & evil sleep paralysis. No escape...It's simply not worth drinking😂😝🤔☺

    What is better for being calm, xanax or valium?

    • @ramham24
      @ramham24 5 лет назад

      Xanax is faster acting but has a short lifespan. I am prescribed 5 mg diazepam(valium). I dont feel any different when I take them other than I guess not feeling anxious. Xanax is more addictive too.
