Its crazy cuz he never says what they're actually "killing in the name of", nobody mentions it, its like its a double meaning cuz nobody wants to come out and say they're "killing in the name of racism", but at the same time its his statement that they're killing in the name of absolutely nothing, its just hatred.

We are fucking realizing with real eyes all the REAL LIES that have been institutionalized in all for decades! We're all tired of the same shit. We're ALL victimized by the same shit - red, yellow, black, brown or white! Slavery has been around for centuries. It's run ALL gammets,ALL races, ALL colors! ZION is the running problem! The New World Order, Agenda 2030, etc., etc., etc. There are a few OWNERS of this world - for centuries through blood and money - that make all the decisions for what we see, hear and believe. UNTIL NOW! Use it til' you lose it! Wake the world and stand side by Motherfucking Colorful Side!!!

Very relevant with what's going on today. Them and System of a Down were before their time. We should've listened to the lyrics, not just heard the music.

I'm sorry, but the "few bad apples" excuse was disproved in the Stanford prison experiment.
All it takes to turn am entire department bad is inadequate oversight combined with a desire to be accepted by the group, and just like that otherwise good people are behaving like monsters.
The Stanford prison experiment was done with Stanford students, all of whom to through a far more stringent selection process than any police force. If all of them went bad, you're never going to "good apple" your way out of this problem by selecting better cops.
The only way out of this is subjecting the police to real oversight.

He jumped out _feet first_ wearing big military boots. The crowd just instantly parted like the red sea before Moses, and he hit the floor ass first. I give the long-haired dive guy a fricking 11 out of 10 for that dive. He just launched and got awesome lift on it, that beautiful hair flying behind him. Take it from a white girl who's been in a bunch of mosh pits--it takes a LOT more trust to go that high up and somehow believe that people will catch you when you land than it does to fly straight out. You fly straight out, it's easy to catch you. When you get a bunch of lift like that, it takes a bit for the crowd to figure out where he's going to land and then to keep the descent from sending them down to the ground with him.
That dive is glorious--a thing of beauty.

Still excellent song, still powerful lyrics. I'm blessed that I heard this when this first came out in early 1990s. Great message over all.

As a guitarist, Tom Morello from Rage Against the Machine is one of the greatest guitarists to ever play. If you check into HOW he does the things he does, you will realize he's a ten feet above the rest. so glad to see these videos.

You might dig “Living on the 110” by Prophets of Rage. It’s got Tom Morello on guitar (he did guitar for RATM) and Chuck D from Public Enemy and B-Real from Cypress Hill on vocals. Good stuff

Dive was aight. The idea is to spread your body out across as many people as possible cause it usually takes a second for people to catch you and adjust their balance to your weight. People get dropped on their head cause they land on 1 or 2 people that are smaller than them and they can't brace themselves quick enough. Same goes for crowd surfing out of the pit toward the stage. (The fastest and most fun way to get out of the pits).

RATM was doing lyrics about racist cops in the early nineties.
The greatest thing about RATM is that their lyrics are always relevant.
The saddest thing about RATM is that THEIR LYRICS ARE ALWAYS RELEVANT.

From a guitar player, the beauty of that guitar solo is it’s uniqueness. Doesn’t even really sound like a guitar. Tom’s approach is pretty unorthodox. Listen to the solo for “Bulls on Parade”. The whole thing sounds like a DJ scratching. This ones a 10.

Speaking as someone who has dived and caught - if people 'bomb' it is like the parting of the red sea. You are meant to put yourself at the mercy of the crowd either flat dive forward or flip and dive on your back. We will catch you, but no knees, elbows or shit. Great reaction. Peace. x
