Demon Hunter is 1 of my all time favorite bands. They have such a wide range of songs and sounds, and can be unpredictable like in this video. As for this song I absolutely love it, and it has its place. This is perfect on a long late night drive, reminiscing over the highs and lows of life, and the realization that everyone of us is doomed to death and hell. Only our belief and faith in Christ can save us and make us whole. I love how Demon Hunter constantly remind me to focus on my humility and seek forgiveness. They have such deep and meaningful lyrics, just like in this song. I’m glad it resonated with you, and thank you for giving this a review.
Demon Hunter has been my favorite band for almost two decades. Yeah, this song doesn't represent them musically but lyrically it represents them perfectly. When i first heard this song i was like oookay, another slow song from DH. But lyrically this song is so deep. BTW, I seen them live in Nashville last year. They totally blew the roof off the place. You got another sub, thanks for the video.
wow this was awesome guys i just subscribed cause i really like your guys take on this song. I loved the rhythm of this song and vocals when i first heard it i was hoping the soft part was just the beginning and that it would lead into the heavy part, but it never came and i felt it ended with something i won't get. I really hope that they come out with a heavy version of this song because that would be huge for me!
I love Demon Hunter and they're my favorite Christian metal bands ever, so happy that you guys listened to this band and I love y'all's channel and the renegade channel too ❤️😊😇👍🏼👍🏼
@@sixscars put more Christian metal/rock/punk artists in your channel like impending Doom, sleeping giant, Advent, and others, I'm a big Christian metal rock fan, so God bless y'all from Texas 🤘🏼🤘🏼❤️🙏🏼😊
@user-kb3db1zr1s Grew up loving Christian metal/rock. Not of the faith anymore, but I am definitely still blasting a lot of what I grew up with! I might have to get Nate to react to some Showbread!
I will say that many of their songs do build into other songs. Some songs are good on their own, but when you listen to entire albums, it’s like a perfect fit. Anyone I’ve talked to that’s listened to them will say they’ve never made a bad song. Some are great, others are fantastic. And the albums altogether are always great. Ryan Clark, Demon Hunter’s frontman, has said that Extremist is his favorite album so far. At least, it was when they first made it. And I’d have to say, after listening to actual experts say what they’ve got to say, I’d have to agree. Extremist goes HARD. I did love True Defiance before that, but apparently for them, every album is a buildup to the next one. Which is a great way at looking at making art, I think.
I believe this song was more about the message than the actual music itself. As far as rating it on a scale of it being metal, it's not metal at all. I personally love the song, and I believe it's perfect as it is. It does what it needs to do.
Been a huge fan about 22 years now. Not one of my top 20 favorite tracks but it is quite thought provoking to say the least. They're still on my top 5 list. So I look forward to more Demon Hunter reactions!🩸🗝😎

Not many people have! I got a whole bunch of obscurity in my back pocket. Haha

I've revisited this song several times. I'm very curious to see how it fits into the setting of a whole DH album
Chairs look bout comfy as hell, if y’all feel like experimenting you should check out Adore by Numenorean. Great video 👍
