You sir have cost me thousands of dollars with your videos. I keep buying things. Expect a cease and desist letter from my wife. All kidding aside, great content as always Brad. Ordered the rack yesterday and will have it installed by the shop as I do not have the moral fiber to drill into the roof. Kudos to you and your hands on approach. Definitely considering supporting you through patreon and would love to join you on a trip someday (I'm less than 2 hours north of san diego). All the best!
Brad, is there any chance that we could get a video of you and Marco doing pros/cons of both racks? The Gobi and Rhino Rack systems seem to be the more popular among overlanders and I'm personally having a hard time choosing which I want Haha. Just a suggestion. Thanks for the sick videos man!
Watching your video on this roof rack convinced me to buy it. It showed up today! I'm looking forward to installing it this weekend. I really enjoy all the quality videos you produce, especially because your build is almost exactly what I want mine (2016 JKU Rubicon) to end up like. Your videos have already helped considerably. Keep it up please!
My stealth rack from Gobi is getting delivered Tuesday I'm so dang excited. Finally can free up space I need so much in the inside of the jeep. I enjoy watching you build up your jeep. Inspired me to work on mine again when I have spare funds. Take care!
Brad, have the same rack on my 2014 Jeep JK. Like the low profile, no additional wind noise I can detect. Have used it on multiple off-road trips and have been able to adapt other manufactures accessories (Eezi-Awn and Front Runner) to it.
Great video Brad, i have the exact same rack on my JK. Installed it about 2 years ago i can attest to the gut feeling you get before you drill into your top. I have a Tepui rooftop tent on my rack and a Fox-wing awning. Keep up the great videos. Cheers, Wes.
Nice. Next year I am going to hit the mods for my Rubi. I am most likely going to go with the KMS Safari Lo-Pro roof system. Has the front hoop, but mounts to the roll bar in the rear. But have to look into this one too.
Thank you for the video, I just wish I would have had it a week earlier. Your video is a lot better than the ones provided by Rhino-Rack. The only advice I would suggest is to measure the leg distance before trying to mount the entire unit. Thank you for all of your videos and for not being so over the top with the size of your lift kit, tires etc.
I must say that a is one good looking rack, I am a long ways off from needing the roof rack, but That looks sweet. It looks like you are still able to pull it into the garage and that a huge perk to me. I would not want to add something that would not permit me to park y jeep in the garage. Thanks again my friend for sharing another great video and part for the jeep. Keep up the great work and have a blessed week. Dale
Hi Brad, your videos are inspiring. My local auto shop has a 20% off fathers day special on, l picked up a rhino rack pioneer platform system & will be fitting it this weekend. I got a bit of a surprise picking it up as the pioneer platform is preassembled which means it doesnt fit in the back. Looks like for the Australian market they assemble them. So I'll be going back with a ute or trailer to collect it. Keep up the great video's.
I love the customization of your Jeep. I knw what I wanted, but after seeing this Jeep I got the KC HiLites light bar that you have and next on my list is the Rhino Rack. I love the low profile, clean lines, and versatility of this rack. Thanks for sharing.
PLEASE READ IF YOU ARE INSTALLING THE KIT AND MEASURE!! Most definitely double check the measurements of the supplied paper template! Mine didn't match up to the given measurements. So glad I checked right before I drilled. 123mm specified on the paper template was only 117.20mm
Hi Aaron I have fitted the same roof rack but the trades version as it has sides to tie down and I added the roller on the rear . Can’t fault the whole concept as I have loaded up the Jeep and traveled most of the interior of Australia. The roller on the rear helps putting the kayak up
I have the exact same rack installed on my 2013 JKUR, and I love it. I can't wait to put a rooftop tent on it. Like you said, it is very clean looking, and the accessory options are plenty. I currently have the bracket for the Maxtraxx and ski rack installed. The interior padding is a nice touch too!
@trailrecon Great vid, as usual. 2 things? 1) can u take off the entire hardtop/RR at once together? and 2) u got any thoughts on Rhinos 3-bar VORTEX set up for a RTT? The bars seem lighter and even easier to install and remove when not in use. Thank you and keep the channel growing!
I have very similar questions.. my RTT is very tough to mount when working under the platform. Was also curious about Remington the hardtop. Any luck on these questions?
Thanks for this. I am getting one, but with the cross bars, to mount a tent mainly. Ill do the install, but my local shop here in Fort Collins, Bullhide 4x4, suggested some RTV around the holes to make sure there is no water leaking. Have you had any leaking issues?
So jealous of your setup. During my time of overlanding, I’ve had to accept I won’t have a nice, modified rig like yours for a long time. I need to just get out there and do it. I am a little worried as my truck as 215k miles.. but whatever. Gotta live.
Very nice install vid. Love the look of that rack. I only use my hard top during the winter months so I’ll probably go more toward the Gobi rack but this is a great option for a full time hardtop!
Hey Brad, I purchased this system upon your recommendation, I purchased the backbone system for my Jeep wrangler with this Pioneer platform.. I will say that the Product is nice but the U.S. customer service SUCKS! Upon assembly of my new rack i realized it was missing one little $2 part and they won't send it to me without charging me for it. And the funny thing is they are charging me $10 to ship it.
Andrew Francis yes you can take the whole thing off without removing the rack from the hard top. Sorry no one seemed to reply, but you worded it a little confusingly.
I'd love to do a front and rear camera. Having the front would make some obstacles much easier. I'd have to replace my head unit first, so no plans currently, but maybe down the road.
I think my anxiety level went up to 8/10 watching you drill the hard top. that's just watching you drill YOUR hard top, lol. as much as I love the finished product, I'm not sure I'm up to that level of commitment
Hey Brad quick question. I noticed you have headliners installed and was wondering if you had to cut away at them when installing the window brackets, especially along the edge/seam? Thanks in advance!
Thanks! I was hoping the tent was going to arrive this weekend, but looks like I have to wait a couple more days.... really excited to not sleep on the ground!
did you have any problems with water leaks since installing the Rhino Rack? Thanks again for all the great upgrade videos to your Jeeps, it's really going to prove to be very helpful for me when I get mine, and I'm thinking that buying a Jeep stock is the better way to go and do the upgrades myself. Your videos over the years are a great educational source! Thanks again, Brad!
Oh man, I should have mentioned that in the video!!! The pads cover the forward vertical bars of the internal backbone system. Right next to where the passengers head is.... nice idea to have these.
i though so! it could get ugly if you hit your head against that edge. i currently have roll bar padding zipped tied to it but i bet the padding would look a lot nicer. thanks!
Great video! I have two questions. We have the older version Thule Force XXL cargo carrier that we use during the winter for skis. Can that be attached to this rack? Second, is there enough room to hide wiring in the platform to run lights from the rack?
Not sure about the Thule carrier, I'm sure there is a way to make it work? I'll be installing lights soon and there are some nice spots for running wires under the edges.
Thank you for the vlog. I haven't found any installation vd on the tube like this detailing. I have a question. I just installed my Hot Head headliner on my Jeep. Will the bracket inside going to mess up with the hard board headliner?
Nice install. I'm glad to see this review because I have been considering the two door version of this rack for my jk. With the low profile I think I could still get the Jeep in the garage. That is my concern.
So in the directions for the Pioneer Platform it says "Please remove crossbars when putting vehicle through an automatic car wash". Now I believe this is referring to the 3 bar roof rack system they sell, which is different than this setup. I don't know if I'll take it through the car wash now....
no you shouldn't take any roof-rack through a car wash...platform rack or otherwise. too much can go wrong and things can get snagged especially any accessories you have. their instructions say no to this as well. definitely stay touchless or go with the quick-release legs to remove the platform if you want to laze it up and coast though an auto like me X-D
Really great video awesome review and install have been watching your channel for a long time now and really like the look of this rack better very low profile and clean like you said. great job Brad. Look forward to the next one
I did have to trim them just a bit and squeeze pretty hard to get the mount to come together. For those that don't have the headliner.... it's much easier.
I just got a new 2016 four-door Jeep Wrangler unlimited. I love the Rhino rack! The exoskeleton are to bulky and take away from the beauty of the Jeep. Thank you so much for all your information and clear, easy to understand video tutorial. I think I finally found my low profile rack. PS what’s the price of this rack and where can I order it? Jim Allentown Pa. -Patriot, father, son, brother ,friend, grandfather, Marine, chaplain and Pastor of City Limits Assembly of God. Allentown Pa.. thank you for the wonderful video it was a great help in my decision. Jim- #Letsliveit
Getting ready to install the rack this weekend. Did you ever relocate the satellite antenna or is it still working fine? Love the videos, keep them coming.
Hey Brad, I notice on the Interior square brackets you had a black padding? Did that come with the Rhino Rack or was that something you bought additionally? Hope you seen this and get a chance to reply!! Love the Channel man... Keep up the Adventure!!!
Hi, would you be able to provide a link the taller spacers you purchased to be able to install your rooftop tent? I’m looking at picking this rack up. Thanks!
Good video Brad although I have a two door don't imagine it's much different. Glad to see you have a Springer. Is he a mental case like mine? My JK has so much dog hair in it over the winter I am going to have to take it to a pro detailer. Shee! Going to get one of these racks for my big trip up to the Arctic Ocean, whenever the lockdown lifts..........if I live that long. As much as i don't want to drill holes in the hardtop, I think it's the only way to go. The rain gutters are only fibre glass and that is a hell of a lot of resistance on four little clamps. Mark in Hamilton Canada
Dynamic is in motion and static is sitting still. They have a bunch of accessory mounts, I'd recommend surfing their website for the application you are looking for.
Gerry, Rhino-Rack part number 43138B is an accessory bar system that will allow you to mount just about any (c-Channel) mounted product to the platform including bike carriers, kayak carriers, ski carriers and cargo boxes.
James, This is a great question! most likely you could not do this due to the unit raising the internal Rhino-Rack Backbone height. However, if you were to mod the shelf to allow you to mount it on top of the lower Rhino-Rack Backbone bracket you could most likely mount the shelf and only need to order longer hard top bolts.
My JKU came with the 4x4 body armor rack System. It looks great, HOWEVER, totally a pain when I want to take my top off. Would love to swap it out or sell it to get the rhino rack System
TrailRecon, I ordered the same size roof rack, and when i installed it, it was more to one side of the jeep. I messaged Rhino Rack and they said I was supposed to cut the middle and front footpad brackets and it also says that in the instructions. Did you do this step? and video of it as well?
Do you have a video mounting/securing your roof top tent? I am looking for a creative idea for how to mount ours... the tent rails sit 1.5" too wide on either side for the pioneer rack.
Hey Brad, awesome installation video! I have the exact same roof rack. I selected it based on the same reasons you have. The hard top with the rack is still sitting in my garage. I did the installation last summer. Probably, going to install it on the Jeep in the coming weeks. I am getting the cross bar too to add Rhino Racks' ski and snowboard carrier (576 model) for the winter. I am still deciding which rooftop tent to get. You mentioned in the video that you ordered yours. Just wondering which one you decided to get. Awesome Jeep, and channel! Loved Northridge 4x4 too!
@Trailrecon. what size rack did you buy. First time jeep buyer of JL Moab 2019 and like this rack, but want it to go from back of hardtop to just before the front seats. Allows you take off front driver/passenger tops unobstructed.
I’m thinking about getting a rack too. I think they look really nice on the JKU hardtop. How is yours with taking off the freedom tops? Im currently looking at the Garvin with a similar shape/size as yours. I’m definitely looking forward to seeing you load it up!
I have the Garvin expedition rack on my jk and love it . The freedom panels come right off no problem no tools just take em off. The entire rack pivots also to remove the top . The down side with the full size rack is a lot of noise even with the wind deflector installed . Way more heavy duty than this one ,will last forever and then some .
Hello, when you load roof tent, how do you load maxtraxxes, gas baskets, bike carrier or example kayak carrier, offroad needs? How do you get enough space?
Brad, thanks for the video. I just bought the same rack on a Black-Friday sale from Northridge. Looking to get a roof top tent as well and do some long trips with my kids this summer. What liner do you have in your hardtop? Would you recommend it/buy it again?
Congrats on the new rack and having a tent will make camping so much more enjoyable! I have the mopar liners and I like them. They are great for temperature control. Expected them do help with noise reduction, but they didn't really. I would buy them again.
TrailRecon, thanks Brad. I bought the mopar liners, did some minor trimming around the backbone part of the rack. They look great and I agree - they help a lot with temp control, not much noticeable difference in sound levels.
Okay, just watched your “How has my rooftop tent lasted” video and had to re-watch this one. Couple questions: 1- you said the weight capacity I’d like 250 lbs... how does that hold the tent and two large adults? Seems like you would max that out quickly. 2- One thing that worries me about a roof rack like this (and the major reason I haven’t bought one) is I still want the ability to take my hardtop off. Could you do a video about that someday? I’d love to see the steps involved in hard top removal with this attached.
250lbs is the dynamic weight, I think the static weight is 800lbs. There are no special steps involved in taking the top off with this rack. Unlike a few others out there that secure to the rollbar, this one is only attached to the roof and everything comes off normally.
After watching this video, I ordered this rack. I ran into a couple of issues that I think are important to note for prospective buyers: 1. After I mounted the planks to the end rails (8:40 in the video), I turned it right side up to find that the screws had pushed into the topside of the plank ends causing the end of rack plank to bulge up. I corrected this by adding two additional flatwashers to the screws. 2. I ordered mine with quickmount legs that lock and unlock for quick removal. The six legs (as part of kit JA8213 at etrailer.com) came in the form of one kit with four legs and one kit with 2 legs. These were keyed differently between the two sets. I contacted Rhino Rack and they sent me some matching cylinders and keys to make it right. 3. Although I followed the fitting instructions meticulously, I could not align the rack to the legs. I had to drill a hole to expand the oval mounting points for two of the crossbars in order to correct this. It also helped that I was using a canoe/kayak ceiling hoist to raise and lower the rack. Other than these obstacles, the installation went well and the rack looks great. Thanks for this and your other videos!
Hi I bought the back bone system and the pioneer platform (both built and ready) but I got the Rhino-Rack RC Locking Leg kit that is not working to attach to the platform. Could you recommend what is the model of the leg kit that works?
Maybe I missed it, how does the rack attach to the brackets? Hoe easy is it to remove the rack when it is not needed? I have a sunrider for hardtop which won’t open with this rack. So, I want to install the rack when I am going camping.
Hey Brad, just wondering if you made a video on how you mounted your roof top tent on the Pioneer Platform? Did the tent line up with the rack slots or did you have to drill and bolt it up there?
@@TrailRecon Gotta. I'm thinking about going with the ikamper mini when it comes out. Their's only a few videos out that show how they mounted the tent and everyone drilled holes in the Pioneer Platform to make it work. Thanks for getting back to me on this. I'm sure I'll figure something out when I get them.
hey brad, the hardest part of my rhino rack install was the anxiety of drilling my hardtop...what do you think of the slider windows on jk hardtop? is there a video?
I just ordered the pioneer platform from your website but I ordered the 76x54 for my 4 door jeep will that be to long?? As yours is the 72x56 I hope I didn't order the wrong one.
I bought the same one but for a JL (backbone mounting system with the rhino rack platform). I can’t find it in any of the comments here if they had any issues (weight) when 2-3 people sleeping in the roof top tent. I’m concerned about the weight limit. Or maybe i just don’t understand the dynamic vs static weight. When you’re parked and the tent is set up, how much weight can this hold up?
You sir have cost me thousands of dollars with your videos. I keep buying things. Expect a cease and desist letter from my wife. All kidding aside, great content as always Brad. Ordered the rack yesterday and will have it installed by the shop as I do not have the moral fiber to drill into the roof. Kudos to you and your hands on approach. Definitely considering supporting you through patreon and would love to join you on a trip someday (I'm less than 2 hours north of san diego). All the best!
Great video Brad. I sure miss videos like these from you. 4 years later it made my life a whole lot easier. Thanks
🖐 You installed the rack about 2 years ago now. How’s it holding up?
Hey Brad, Just re-watching this video before we put a roof rack on the 2016 Jeep we have. Thanks for making all these great videos.

You are welcome! I'm very happy with how it looks.

My stealth rack from Gobi is getting delivered Tuesday I'm so dang excited. Finally can free up space I need so much in the inside of the jeep.
I enjoy watching you build up your jeep. Inspired me to work on mine again when I have spare funds. Take care!
BlackRifle Survival that’s always the trick right? When we have spare funds. Lately that is fewer and fewer. Haha
Red Rock Crawlers I have a checklist that seems endless for mods. Haha. Good stuff!
Thank you for another very useful video, still not convinced to drill the holes, is it any roof rack with no drilling?
Brad, have the same rack on my 2014 Jeep JK. Like the low profile, no additional wind noise I can detect. Have used it on multiple off-road trips and have been able to adapt other manufactures accessories (Eezi-Awn and Front Runner) to it.

Thanks Master Chief. I was on the fence when it came to buying this rack. New Sub, look forward to new content!
This rack was delivered today....thanks for the video. It was most helpful. Cant wait to install mine later this week.

Thank you for all of your videos and for not being so over the top with the size of your lift kit, tires etc.
Thank you! I agree, I did fumble around with the feet for a bit until I got them lined up and a pre-measurement is a great suggestion.
I'm putting on my Rhino Rack on as we speak. Thanks for such great content you made this way easier!
Wow! How was it? Happy with the results? I am still on the fence.

Cheers for the video. These look to be a great bit of gear! Going to get one for my Isuzu Dmax.
I've had it for over a wheel now and sust got the tent mounted on the rack last night and I'm very happy with the quality.
Great video, where can i find this pepper please 3:19 😢 I bought it second hand

Hi George, Wanted to know if you still have this rack and how it's holding up. Thinking of installing on my 2017 JK. Thanks!
@@bebacklater526 Hi, it is still holding strong. I decided not to put a rooftop tent, though. But, it is one of the best upgrades I did on my Jeep.
Awesome video Brad!! Looking forward to seeing that Badass jeep up close and hitting some trails with you and ovrlndx when we visit the west coast!👍👊💥
Just let us know when!

Very nice install vid. Love the look of that rack. I only use my hard top during the winter months so I’ll probably go more toward the Gobi rack but this is a great option for a full time hardtop!
Ya, I think if you run a lot without your hardtop and need the storage, the Gobi is a good option.
awesome awesome rack my man! i just might consider installing this on my JK. thanks for the great video!
I think it's a great investment if you are looking for a solid rack.
Cool how it goes on the rear window, no drilling also 👍👍👍
Hey Brad, I purchased this system upon your recommendation, I purchased the backbone system for my Jeep wrangler with this Pioneer platform.. Yes, no problems taking the freedom panels on and off.
Is the back half of the top still removable without taking the backoff?
Andrew Francis yes you can take the whole thing off without removing the rack from the hard top. Sorry no one seemed to reply, but you worded it a little confusingly.
Hey Brad, meant ask if u might b doing front and rear camera installs, I know on of ur walk arounds had them, but not much detail on them....
I'd love to do a front and rear camera. Having the front would make some obstacles much easier. I'd have to replace my head unit first, so no plans currently, but maybe down the road.

good build.. been looking at buying one since june of last year, just was not sure of the drilling process.
Good looking rack Brad. I don’t think I can drill into my hard top. But it looks really clean when your all done.
Thanks! I was pretty anxious about drilling the hard top, but now that it's done... easy day.

Awesome Brother! We need to go Camping soon!
Heck ya, I'm in!
i want to join one of this times
Thank you for all the awesome videos. Can you still open the freedom top easily with the rack installed?
Yes, you can still open the freedom panels with the Rhino-Rack Backbone Pioneer System
Great video. What headliner kit do you have? do you have to drill through some areas of the headliner to get this mounted?
I have the Mopar headliner kit amzn.to/2wOvosL I did have to poke a few holes through it.
Another great Aussie product 👍🇦🇺

no you shouldn't take any roof-rack through a car wash...platform rack or otherwise. too much can go wrong and things can get snagged especially any accessories you have. their instructions say no to this as well. definitely stay touchless or go with the quick-release legs to remove the platform if you want to laze it up and coast though an auto like me X-D
Super super clean, i like it a lot!
Really great video awesome review and install have been watching your channel for a long time now and really like the look of this rack better very low profile and clean like you said. great job Brad. Look forward to the next one

Check out Gobi Racks. I have had mine on the JK since 2010. No drilling. Frame mounted.
Great video as always! It looks like you’ve got the Mopar hardtop headliner? What did you have to do to it to fit the internal mounts?
I did have to trim them just a bit and squeeze pretty hard to get the mount to come together. For those that don't have the headliner.... it's much easier.
Excellent instructional vid. Wonder if the JL version will be as simple to instal.

Looks grate . Man. Keep up the good work.
Thank you!
You have the best videos Brad. Great presentation style.
Getting ready to install the rack this weekend. Did you ever relocate the satellite antenna or is it still working fine? Love the videos, keep them coming.
Still working fine, once in a blue moon I’ll loose signal with the tent on the roof, but no issues with just the rack.
How did your installation go? Happy with the result?
@@AliciaInJeep went great and works great
Hey Brad, I notice on the Interior square brackets you had a black padding? Did that come with the Rhino Rack or was that something you bought additionally? Hope you seen this and get a chance to reply!! Love the Channel man... Keep up the Adventure!!!
Hi, would you be able to provide a link the taller spacers you purchased to be able to install your rooftop tent? I’m looking at picking this rack up. Thanks!
Hello how long it took to put roof rack because they charging me $100.00 an hour to put my maximus 3 rino rack please let me know thanks
Please explain dynamic and static, can you mount items like kayak carriers and items like ARB awnings
Dynamic is in motion and static is sitting still. They have a bunch of accessory mounts, I'd recommend surfing their website for the application you are looking for.
TrailRecon thanks, great videos
Gerry,
Rhino-Rack part number 43138B is an accessory bar system that will allow you to mount just about any (c-Channel) mounted product to the platform including bike carriers, kayak carriers, ski carriers and cargo boxes.
Love the design and the functionality. Will the interior rear window bracket allow to mount the frontrunner rear cargo shelf?
James,
This is a great question! most likely you could not do this due to the unit raising the internal Rhino-Rack Backbone height.
Love it! Shutout from Australia!
I'm hoping Teraflex comes out with a Nebo rack for the 2 door. Otherwise the Rhino might be a possibility.
Thank you! I went with the Smittybilt tent and primarily based on price. Full review of it in the coming weeks.
Do you have to take the hardtop off to install? Great video, thanks!
No issues taking the freedom tops off at all. Lot's of stuff is going to be loaded up here soon!
Hi brad will this rack fit the 2018 rubicon 2 door?
Looks awesome Brad!
Thank you!
They look great and I agree - they help a lot with temp control, not much noticeable difference in sound levels.
your link to Northridge isn't working. I like how low profile it is.
Where did you relocate the antenna ? Do you have a video for that ?
Nice video. I was psyched to get this rack, but it doesn’t look like Rhino Rack makes it for the TJ.
Okay, just watched your “How has my rooftop tent lasted” video and had to re-watch this one. Couple questions:
1- you said the weight capacity I’d like 250 lbs... how does that hold the tent and two large adults? Seems like you would max that out quickly.
2- One thing that worries me about a roof rack like this (and the major reason I haven’t bought one) is I still want the ability to take my hardtop off. Could you do a video about that someday? I’d love to see the steps involved in hard top removal with this attached.
250lbs is the dynamic weight, I think the static weight is 800lbs. There are no special steps involved in taking the top off with this rack. Unlike a few others out there that secure to the rollbar, this one is only attached to the roof and everything comes off normally.
Looks great, love you videos very helpful thanks man
Glad it was helpful, thank you!
Great rack and music choice.
Thank you!
After watching this video, I ordered this rack. I ran into a couple of issues that I think are important to note for prospective buyers:
What was the exact measurements from the hardtop to the very top of the roof rack brad? Trying to see if it will clear the garage
Can you hang the entire top from the rafters? That would make for very easy removal and storage!
Brad, how is it holding up?? Mine started leaking as hell...lol Well, guess solving these issued is a part of fun, though.
Great DIY roof rack video! Can you provide the part# for the heavy-duty metal leg kit?
Hey Brad, just wondering if you made a video on how you mounted your roof top tent on the Pioneer Platform? Did the tent line up with the rack slots or did you have to drill and bolt it up there?
I had to relocate the tent rails to fit within the slats... pretty easy to do, but sorry, no video.
Very nice piece of kit Brad 👍
Kevin England better get one for your rig
Red Rock Crawlers I would but I love going naked all summer 😋
Kevin England haha. Yeah I run with just a bikini top all summer.
Red Rock Crawlers only way to spend the summer.... Top and doors off. Looking at getting sun shade for my YJ this year myself. 😊
Kevin England very good!
Looks like it would be a pain to get the freedom panels off. Is it?
I just ordered the pioneer platform from your website but I ordered the 76x54 for my 4 door jeep will that be to long?? As yours is the 72x56 I hope I didn't order the wrong one.
I bought the same one but for a JL (backbone mounting system with the rhino rack platform). I can’t find it in any of the comments here if they had any issues (weight) when 2-3 people sleeping in the roof top tent. I’m concerned about the weight limit. Or maybe i just don’t understand the dynamic vs static weight. When you’re parked and the tent is set up, how much weight can this hold up?
How long did it take you to install this? Excellent video, thank you.
