Always excited to see what can be done with smaller vehicles, Ex post office micro camper owner you adapted, working well but needs a few extras re storage cupboards.

My first impression of this new project vehicle is that the suspension has been considerably lowered which means that any and all added fixtures and fittings will directly affect handling and economy and possibly insurance.
If I am right then please be careful (upgrading braking capability) you will not produce an overwight and potentially dangerous vehicle which would deviate considerably from manufacturers spec.

When I was 18 I bought a 1971 bay to use as a surf van. Looked ace but was the worst vehicle I’ve ever driven to date (I’m 58 now) lol. Good luck with the build just don’t drive it 😂😂😉🏴👌🏽

Do you really want to get involved in a "project" chances are it's not structurally sound and it's in need of a nut and bolt strip down restoration to bare bones. I'm sure it can be made to look good cosmetically but at a guess it needs serious work prior to doing what you do.
