    Florida’s problems run deep. All the way to the AD. SS knows he is safe while UF has no president and he will continue to do as little as possible until he is forced to respond. I’ve said the worse thing than giving BN more time was allowing SS to make another hire. That seems unavoidable now. SS process for picking coaches is awful, compounded by his arrogance that he is good at it. We will get another young G5 coach who will be in over his head because SS will want to prove he can spot talent.

    I think Lane is a great coach. I'm down in So FL and an FAU alum so we loved having Lane in our program (winning!). However, I have talked with the AD on several occasions at business networking functions and he assures me (as have other people) that Lane is a tough guy to work with. He described Lane as "strange" and "odd" and "different". So, I'm not sure if UF is wiling to "go there" with Lane.

      @Drew-dy4hc 💥💯 Absolutely Spot On‼️ Anyone delving deeper (recent well documented ESPN story, LA Times and others, etc) would know that he personally wants to strengthen his family ties with his grown children! Daughter and son moved to Oxford to be closer to him (and last year he promised his daughter he wouldn’t take the Auburn job), Lane’s more settled within himself these days, he loves the lifestyle in Oxford, the relationships he’s built there and obviously - the tremendous growth of the Ole Miss FB program! He ain’t gonna go to a swampland of problems - even for Big Money‼️

    Lane Kiffin is not leaving Ole Miss for Florida. He is a god in Oxford. He has one 3 loss season at Florida and he would be fired. Florida is becoming Nebraska, living in the past.

      As a Florida fan I do agree that a lot of our fan base is living in the past and haven’t yet accepted who’ve we been for the past 16 years, which is a mediocre program. However, Kiffin would absolutely consider coaching at Florida. Not only for the much larger paycheck he’d receive, but the talent he’d attract at Florida would be limitless.

    Florida is always one good coach away from building a dynasty.
    Hall, Spurrier and Meyer are the only good coaches the Gators have ever had, and they all won National Titles.
    You get the right coach and the Natties will follow.
    It’s really that simple.

      On what planet does Ryan Day leave Ohio State for Florida? You're high. Chip Kelly is a washed up turd, as well. Great offense, horrible head coach these days. Lane Kiffin is your only answer and he would actually be a very solid hire for Florida that would turn things around ... but does he leave Ole Miss where he has a program, to try and rebuild a Florida program nobody has been able to do shit with since Urban Meyer left ... and how much money is in the Florida collective, as Ole Miss has endless money in Oxford; pros at paying players since before it was even legall.

  • @TheRebullution
    @TheRebullution Месяц назад +1

    Lane would not leave for the florida job… first Ole Miss would match anything florida could offer financially. Second why would he want to start all the way over, and essentially want to build a program up from the bottom again. And with that if he loses a fee games his first couple years, he would be on the hot seat himself. 3rd, the buyout for Billy is crazy and florida would at least have to pay 10.5 mill. Florida is no longer the program they think they are and haven’t been for a longggg time. Also, in Oxford he is basically a God and can have whatever and do whatever he wants within thr football program, not sure at Florida it would be the same…
    Yall obviously haven’t seen the freshman and other under classmen and recruits he’s got. Because he definitely could have an even better team n the next 1-2 years. Also have u not seen the recent report that came out about when he was flirting with the Auburn job? His kids playing a big part in him stayin in Oxford. I think Lane woulfd only leave for a NFL team at this point or possibly a Bama or Georgia…
