I don’t really play fps game normally but I’m sure they would work well. And YES it is a big difference between portal and playing on phone/backbone. The experience on the portal is far superior.
I'm having an issue with the Backbone using only the touchscreen feature on every game that I try. It lets me navigate everything up until I launch a game, then nothing but touchscreen works smh. I have a Samsung Galaxy S21 ultra any ideas anyone?
If you haven’t solved this already, sometimes the controller setting depends on the game itself and wether or not it even supports controller. In that case you’d have to set up key mapping in the backbone controller settings.
just sold my portal got it since launch barely used it listen i have 1gig up and down and i still had lag and latency the idea is cool but sony wasted time and resources with this one i might pick the backbone up idk and im a huge sony fan but the portal just isnt it im sorry esp for the price on $200+ tax
I know what you mean BUT. The new update for the portal made the experience waaaay better. It added cloud streaming as well and it is super smooth. I got a new video talking about it coming soon so stay tuned and subscribe if you haven’t already!

Only thing I dislike is you can’t use streaming ps5 premium streaming. Besides that it’s great in my opinion
I think Sony was saving that feature specifically for the Portal.
I have a weird question, do you think its good as a grip for recording videos with your phone?
I actually used it for that once! It worked well for holding the phone horizontally while recording. I wouldn’t buy it solely for that reason though….
