- A fan-made concept for a Predator chapter in Dead By Daylight, including just the killer and a snowy version of the MacMillan Estate.
This project, like all of my previous has been made in the Unity game engine. I have sort of recreated the base game so that I can implement custom content into it like this.
THIS IS A FAN-MADE, NON- PROFIT VIDEO. All Dead By Daylight-related and Aliens vs Predator (2010) related assets belong to their respective owners - Behaviour Interactive and Rebellion Developments.

I had a dream about the predator being the killer but not that running speed but in predator the same running speed of hunting grounds but the survivors get a few percent of speed when facing the predator since he's faster than legion and his ability is thermal vision he can't see through walls or thick layer areas but he can spot anyone in the entire map while in the open with no cover and blood can be track as well since the thermal can scan that as well I imagined a long range map very long like almost a kilometer and a half equiped with flash bangs as well to slow him down forget cloaking we already have someone with that ability wraith of course.

Here because the Skull Merchant makes me ask "what if?"
It would be awesome if while he was cloaked his vision switches over to infrared, which would highlight survivors and help with spotting them from a distance and while immersed. It would make him really strong on Macmillan and Yamaoka's due to his ability to track survivors through corn and grass.
What would the tradeoff be, reduced speed?
There has to be one or a cloaked Predator with thermal vision would be overpowered.
I still do really like the idea through.
@@spider-soniczilla2989 it could work like a main event ability for trickster where you build up momentum for it and it temporarily allows you to see but when it ends it kinda stuns you and slows you down for a little bit but you have to build up the ability by getting hits so it would reward good gameplay
Give him his heat sensor instead of camouflage he would basically be wraith if he has camouflage
@@spider-soniczilla2989 Only way is there is mud around like the box area which allow you to cloak yourself when he goes into that mode. Plus movement decrease would help.

Yeah wraith basically has no spot on the game unless they change his abilities like if he throws his ninja stars (I forgot what the weapons are called) or his blaster canon.
What if he can set up traps and fire his blaster canon?

One idea I always had for a possible passive ability of this character would be thermal vision. Would be an interesting mechanic and would be an end for those cursed blendettes that just sit in the tall grass.
This is what people need...this game will become even more popular they need to stop with the party wear character skins and seriously focus on killers ! We need real killers , maps with rain / lightning , forests , graveyards , caves
Costume designers don’t design killer powers there only job is making costumes also they have all there killers planned in advance you never know they might have him planned already
We are not getting new maps that often anymore because they are trying to rework the old ones
Yeah I wish they would make more interesting maps. All outdoor maps feel the same but with different layouts.

You have to understand the balance of the game, map variations are great. But nothing that can have a negative affect on gameplay, all maps in essence have to be the same equally. With more killers, All this mod is, is basically a cooler version of wraith that doesnt fit into DBD. People asking for Pred, Alien and everything else like that don't fit into DBD.

You should try to come by a model of the 2018 movie predator, the much bigger ones because I feel that they’d match DBD’s theme of tall looming creepy killer roster (Michael Myers, demogorgon, etc.)
You could of used the Predator from "Predator Hunting Grounds" for the concept, also Challenger in the video gameplay didn't look like it did much, since I couldn't tell exactly what it was trying to achieve. Also the animation in his fingers for his right hand is something to be desired.

Really good besides some minor things that actual game studios could probably fix this would be amazing, if the people at bhvr hired you their chapters would be so much better

@@jemers22 it did age well, 2 of the chapters during last years roadmap sucked ass, and blights chapter was alright, the only good one we got was this RE chapter. And even then its got a terrible map

The design of the character, map, and looks for the perks, add ons, and power are all well done. My only problem is the gameplay design for his ability, add ons, and his hex perk. Let’s start with the power: Challenger is a tunnel down ability with little to no value. It forces the survivor who’s challenged to run away from the effective radius and go hop on a different gen or it forces the killer to tunnel that survivor down to achieve little to no value. The effective time it has also doesn’t work well for the chase and most of its benefits are useless since why would a survivor do any of the things listed while being chased? The only way I see this being fixed is if it affected all survivors in a 48 meter radius when activated but at the cost of a longer cool down with the time limit of being incapacitated being tremendously increased ( a minute or two.)This wont fix some of the potential tunnel issues but it’ll be better than what it is currently. The cloak is fine and I think it’s different enough from wraith where it’s still has its pros and cons. The add ons are meh at best with my main problem being the number values on the add ons that increase the challenge duration. They all bring in a little extra time but don’t stack which doesn’t make sense for the amount it’s given. If the numbers were double then I can agree with them not stacking. For the rest of them they are fine. Perhaps a little numbers buff but they would still work with stacking so it works. Finally his hex perks numbers are IMO way to low to warrant it being a hex perk. Either making it not a hex perk would fix the issue of the numbers being weak or buffing the number up significantly and keeping the hex status would make more sense. Especially since this perk doesn’t work unless you hit every survivor once. Other than that this fan made chapter is well made and not bad at all.

I do think that you should add the "clicking sound" that the Predator does, for when he is invisible, so that people at least does have a chance at detecting him before he slashes them :)

Having played the AVP 2010 games seeing the models and sounds in this video was honestly a nostalgia trip for me and actually ended up making me both want predator in DBD more than I ever did before and it also made me want to go back and play AVP again. Props to you for this short but sweet video, it meant a lot more for me than I thought.

Nah man, as a Predator fan, there was effort put into this, but this sucks if it was a real killer, the power is weal and doesn't represent the Predator, and shoehorning the alien in his lore and addons is stupid and lore breaking

Love the collab, FEA makes really good fan made music, and I love the way you create your own concept, as if you took the game and added in content yourself and only play able by you, for this, I’m subscribing, also just curious do you think you could make The Deer Lady Killer concept?
While this looks amazing (especially the snowy macmillain map, man I hope that's real someday) I do have one slight problem with the power that being this makes Wraith's power kinda redundant and overshadowed by this. If this concept ever got in, they'd either have to tweak the power to still give people a reason to play Wraith or alternatively keep Predator as is with this concept and instead give Wraith some kinda new ability like maybe going through walls while invisible but obviously adjust it to be not op. This concept is interesting though and seriously, amazing job as always with these. Looking forward to seeing the next gameplay concept video.
I would love to see you take those old concept video's like Mr.X, Predator, Alien.... I think that's all and remake them to be like you do now (Alien concept is literally unfinished with like 2 minutes of gameplay that just ends)

I love The Shining, but I'm not sure what the killer's power would be. It would make for a great map, maybe even a decent survivor with Wendy, but as much as I like Jack, his whole thing is he's literally just a normal dad who goes nuts and tries to kill his family.

I love the other two perks and the power, but I feel like the last part of Hunter's Ultimatum would be a heavy tunnel perk. Top part is pretty cool and interesting tho. The addons are super good too, like how it says "doesn't stack" and have the numbers on the end of each one, which is great, BHVR needs to do that. Video is good also, keep up the amazing work with these.

Springtrap is next after Predator, iirc.
There was a poll, and an extended version of Springtrap won the poll, with I believe Pennywise being 2nd place.
It makes sense Predator was next though, since Rarithlynx would've been doing nothing while waiting for the poll to be finished otherwise.

I feel like predator shouldn’t be able to attack while camouflaged. He’s already got a second ability and if he were able to attack then he’d just be a better wraith
His second ability isn’t that good. All it does is force the survivor to run away from the predators terror radius then hop back on a gen or force the predator to tunnel the survivor down in order to get little value. Also his cloaking is a worse version of wraiths as you can see his big glowing eyes and shimmer (what is shown on his hands when invisible) when he’s within 24 meters of a survivor. If anything that’s the only thing keeping him from being a worse wraith with a tunnel base ability.
he should have he's heat vision as an ability allowing him to see survivors auras in he's terror radius for a limited time ... and the challenger power can work like ghost faces marking ability applying the exhausted and oblivious status effect to a certain survivor
