Sturdy AF!!! That is my 3 word review. I bought this and mounted the 11NM Logitech DD Pro wheel and pedals to it....I could not be happier. I love this set up. And it is so light that I can push it around to move it in my apartment. That's right, this can be done in an apartment. ROCK solid...no wiggle, all rock solid. My vote 100%, this seat rocks balls off! Not to mention, one of the most comfortable seats I have in my house for sure. It's like a cradle.
man sounds like you got paid the way your talking...
@ I wish I did man but no. I really like this seat that much.
I bought one Playseat Trophy two weeks ago and I absolutely love it! I'm a big person and it is very comfortable and sturdy. It is expensive but it might be your best opinion if you want to use it with a TV or a monitor you already have. You can put it aside easily and put in place when you want. It's a massive step ahead from the Playseat Challenge and it's very good looking, it surely stands out!
Hi. I have challenge as I need to stow in my office, but use on my ps5 and 65inch living room to. Sounds like it’s not root heavy? I am running the ps5 did elite. I’m thinking they’re is prob small trolley wheels that will clamp around the verticals pedal tubes so can roll it when tilted up on its end. Can the seat fold forward when needed. I would want to stow it on its end against wall in my office when not using
@@TomTheSurgen1 Hi. The cockpit is very light on the seat and much heavier on the front. I guess you can install the wheels on the back but in the front will be a difficult fit because of the curve of the tubes. The easiest way is to drill some wholes on the tubes and screw the wheels. The seat doesn't fold and due to its weight distribution it's a lot easier if you store it vertically with the seat up, you can put it in that position with one hand. I hope I understood your question and that my answer is helpful.
I would like to get one but will I be able to fit I’m 6’4
@@damonpratt506 I'm 5'11 and I have it on maximum lenght and mid adjustment on the back, and I tend to have my pedals farther then most people. I think you'll fit in no problem.
Be interesting to see this compared to the GT Omega Titan as that has a full seat with slide and recline mechanisms.
I own the Playseat and love it! Compact, easy to move if necessary. Have the Fanatec CSL DD Pro attached and it is solid with very little discernible flex. Seat is comfortable for long races; I am 6 foot tall and 185 lbs and it seems very sturdy
How big is this?
@@Oopsie26 The PlaySeat itself is 55.12 x 22.83 x 39.37 in.
Great to know that csl dd pro pits on this seat! Ty👌
Im 6'1 210lbs pretty broad shoulders. Will I fit ok? I have this in my cart for Christmas but am concerned about where my head will rest as well as if my knees are going to hit the wheel mount.
@@GrandpaWazi Diddo, my son and I are 6'4' 230-250, I wondered how we would fit in it as well.
I've just got it and reviewed my Playseat Trophy in red that I got on a sale 2 weeks ago and so far so good!
In this version the ActiFit materials look a tiny bit different in the type of the material used. Using a DD1 and V3 with BPK on mine.
hopefully there will be people in the States doing 3rd party shifter mounting. TBH with a semi-decent workshop and a good hardware store nearby it's easy to solve.
How much is it on sale currently?
@@TheBjjninja At the start of 2023 it was going for 600 and droped to 500 when on sale.
Alright so i’m torn. On the one hand some tubes of aluminum that do not even include a shifter mount shouldn’t cost any more than $300. On the other, it looks good and is strong/lightweight. The price is killing it for me.
I feel like your hands have to reach so high up to touch the wheel or is it just the angle of the camera?
It's the lightest, strongest, most comfortable cockpit available, and it can handle pretty much any DD wheel or pedals you throw at it. If light and strong is what you need, it's actually a great value. If you need to be able to move your rig around or store it out of the way, this is probably the best option. You can literally hang it on the wall if you need extra floorspace. Show me another real DD compatible rig with that kind of flexibility. Plus, FREE shipping, usually another $100-250 with many other options. And granted you don't get a real bucket seat, but most other rigs don't come with a seat and add another $300-500. So tell me again how this is more expensive and not worth it.
I was able to scoop one up for $285 with the two shifter plates... I've been trying to get it for a while at a good price. Pairs up nicely with my T300RS wheel, T-LCM pedals, TH8A shifter, and hand-brake. I also have a monitor arm attached to the base plate. Still working on my POV though lol.
Finally upgraded from my homemade chassis to a real one and while it looks nicer, the tiburon gt seat I had was more comfortable and fully adjustable and the screen positioning was significantly better. Luckily a friend is handy with a welder
I’m gonna have to wait til the shifter mount properly arrives in the US store :(. Thank you so much for the video! The Logi version of the Trophy is beautiful.
This is way more ideal than the Playseat Evolution. I keep hurting my ankles hitting the metal bar when attempting to brake
Hi Jordan, what is that attached to the rear of the cockpit.
Logitech is such a great company. the playseat Trophy simply delivers. it doesn't take up much space, you can put it away reasonably easy and it's sturdy and can deal witht he heavy torque the logitech pro wheel comes with ( 11nm), nearly no flex from my experience. it's easy to setup as well and lightweight. the ideal cockpit for someone who doesn't want his appartement/studio to be 1 giant racing sim cockpit while still having a competetive rig setup. great product. simple as.
Rigid, light weigted, stylish. Very happy for the purchase. Only one weakness. It is highly adjustable, but it takes time. Not convenient for cases of switching players of very different figures.
the logitech rig is a great solution, perhaps a little too expensive. Personally, I think they should include the shifter mount for this amount of money. Other than that it is a great solution, with 2 shifter mounts it is also a nice solution for a flight sim
Good review, thanks for the info 😊
I love this rig, but it has one shortcoming I do not like. The length adjustment doesn't tighten enough. Under heavy breaking, it tends to slide longer. I had to try and tighten it with an impact screw gun.
This thing with PSVR 2.......oh man.
Or the Xbox series x
Yeup
I have this seat with logitech pro wheel and psvr2👌🏻 it’s the best
Or a powerful pc with a meta quest 3
@@UberSynthremember when u made this dumb comment lol?
Are there any differences besides the Logitech branding from the other Trophy seats?
No
Awesome review. Thanks for sharing 💯
Great review. I purchased the Playseat Trophy G edition + Logitech pro wheel and pedals few weeks ago. I'm excited to get my hands on it. I'm moving from a Wheel stand pro deluxe + G29. Also got the plate and adapter for the shifter/handbrake.
How's the experience?
I'm thinking about having the same setup
@@jimmiemunyi Well worth it in my opinion. If you are limited on space, you can't go wrong with this Playseat. It's comfortable, adjustable and easily one of the best looking cockpits out there. As for the pro wheel and pedals, I am also happy with them. While I do have a gaming PC, I mainly game on console, so that was the deciding factor for me. Hopefully Logitech will produce more wheels in the near future, along with a pro shifter and handbrake.
Is that some sort of vibrating motor you have attached at the back of the frame?
Did you try the pedals in other configurations or you think A-20 fits best?
What would be a good option that's a similar seating rig that allows quick adjustment?
Me and my wife would share the seat and me being nearly 6ft and she's 5,3 I don't want to be getting tools out and messing with it when swapping
Can you please tell me the wheel can it go closer to your lap on the plate so when driving you see more road in driving views
Do you think VRS pedals are overkill for this? I dont plan to use high kg of force, if they still are worth it, great. if not then i can get something like the CSL V2's
Been really looking forward to this one, glad to see it seems like a good purchase 🙌🏼
Are there any alternative monitor stands since I can never find this one available? Also I do own the oqulus quest as well and I was wondering how the graphics looked? I would love to play gt7 and acc on pc or wrc.
How does this compare to the playseat challenge?
One of the few sexiest looking rigs, always in awe when I come home looking at it as some fine art piece in the living room.
I have the NLR wheel stand 2.0 too and have been considering just getting the GT seat add on for it. Was there a reason you didn’t go that route?
Good review , is the laptop your gaming PC ?
Thanks for the review! In your opinion, is the Playseat suitable for people with a height of 1.70m?
Would this be compatible with the sim magic alpha 15 nm and p1000 pedals
Have a play seat evolution, would that work for the steering wheel ?
How long is this rig at its smallest setting, like from back of the seat to the very front, your Input would be greatly appreciated, thank you
what stand did you use for the ultrawide monitor ? it seems fit the set up , great video overall basically give a whole insight about this playseat !
Thanks! It's the Next Level Racing Lite Free Standing Monitor Stand: nextlevelracing.com/products/lite-free-standing-monitor-stand/?ref=mac9to5
Purchased the black version of the playseat trophy and I and having an issue with my knees top bar. Question I have is the Logitech G edition longer/wider?
Is the Logitech version any different from the normal playseat trophy
Help please so i have the exact same set up wheel peddles and frame but im having trouble mounting the peddles to the Peddle deck there are 6 mounting holes on the peddles but when i try to line it up on the Peddle tray i can only find 3 spots to mount it and its the 3 back mounting points and my peddles flex and rais up from the front when heavy breaking how exactly do you have yours mounted are you using all 6 mounting holes on the peddle
Nice clean review big help making a purchase now that thing is stylish/rigid a winner
What did you do with lumbar strap I can't figure it out
Very nice I might pick one up for when and IF I get into VR Racing. :)
hey, is it possible for it to be a normal chair?
Question: Do you know if the Hori Mario Kart Racing Wheel, and especially the Paddles, will work with this Logitech Cockpit?! Thanks in advance! : )
lol 80€ plastic wheel with 630€ cockpit :) Would lover to see pictures of it.. haha
@@catominhund I already have the Logitech G Pro Wheel and Pro Pedals... but when my little sister and nephews come over, they love the Hori Racing Wheel since it's Mario Kart themed!
I'd love to surprise them with a cockpit of their own though... but in the meantime I've ordered just 1 Playseat Trophy, and I'll test out the Hori Wheel myself, and if it works well enough, then I'll buy a second Playseat Trophy for occasions when family visits! : )
Mine arrived today, no setup manual included.. 🤷
Great review. Thanks a lot
I got this cockpit, it's awesome. Very stiff, no flex, light and movable. I love it. (regular version, not Logitech)
I also have the ebrake and shifter mounts for my DD Pro setup. It's fantastic.
Where did you get the shifter mount?
@@AreOutI contacted them by email and asked if they have something (that was before they even announced it) and dude said they just got it in stock but it's not on store yet.
I said pack one cockpit and that mount. He prepared the papers, I paid, that's it. They also have awesome customer service.
What's the attachment you have on the right side, under the seat?
Did anyone try using this seat with PSVR2. Is the back part of the seat where the neck is, in the way for the PSVR ?
This looks like the RhinoSeat, that then was the Fanatec CSL seat.
Looked like u may have been using the Soundcore VR p10’s for earbuds. I Leah’s wanted to try one of these setups.
Those are the Logitech G Fits! You can check out my review here: ruclips.net/video/f85GIwXX4KY/видео.html
Подскажите пожалуйста, возможно ли на данный кокпит установить салазки для педального узла, чтобы облегчить процесс регулировки расстояния между людьми
Yo, what kind of monitor is that?
Given how basic it is to not include a monitor stand, no option for a shifter or flight controls it seems it's WAY overpriced for what it is. Seems there are MUCH better options, like those from Obutto, etc. Disappointing.
There is a shifter mount actually which can hold a shifter and handbrake.
It's about comfort also though this may be the most comfortable sub 600 dollar rig. Not joking
It’s not too bad. Money shouldn’t be an issue if you’re into sim racing. Maybe a 2nd job?
Counter argument. It comes with a seat (often 200$+) and (while not officially supported) you can easily flip the pedal base to invert your pedals which saves another 150-300$ depending on your pedals for an inversion kit.
Nice work guys
starts at 1:20
Great choice!
How easy is it to move or store?
Pretty easy, I just slide it around my office on the carpet
I almost got this, went with a GT omega titan instead only gripe is the pedal plate has flex with loadcell pedals
Thanks for the feedback as I am looking at both of the same units. Are you saying Titan has flex?
@@CaptainCrunch823 he most likely means the omega has flex since he said he did not get the logitech. if you are still reading, what did you end up getting? im in the market.
Nice setup for a single user. But because of the way it adjusts, not so good for a family or friend situation where multiple people will be using it. Then there's the price...
buy this over discount days not worthed full price. 350-400£ good price 550-650£ not for the money you can get better if you willing to pay 600£+ I own one bought for 380£ and it matches the quality of the price heavy overpay if bought in full
Should’ve priced it at $499.99 MAX… Would totally buy this if it was
Looks to much like a lawn chair for my liking eh; I currently have/use an Evolution and a Formula Pro Red; thanks for posting eh!
the classic never say anything too bad for money.. im sick of ads
Get the blue print of this u can built it from local fabricator ..
At $400 a piece I’d buy two of them, at $600 a unit they can keep it.
quickmath
Great looking seat. Very pricey though.
Yes, it´s light and stylish but not comfortable. The lumbar support is terrible and does not allow for the best posture.
Im short af so if i get this idk loo
that chair looks uncomfortable for my boney aSS
Nowhere to put a gear shifter is a no no for me i bought the Logitech adaptor and shifter so the last thing i want is a rig with no place to put it.
There is a shifter for it
I'm 4:49 into the video now and, honestly, if this is any more than like 250 dollars I will be very disappointed in this rig
Edit: Seriously? 600 usd? You can get a Sim-Lab GT1 Evo for 450 euro/usd, and an actual racecar sports seat for another 150 euro/usd and end up with a rig that is at least twice as good in every category
You look like you need some phone books to boost you up
i bet its not worth it, I am in New Zealand and logitech have made buying there sim gear excessively hard and approx $800.00 nzd more expensive that what it is in the US or Australia. there staff are difficult to deal with and just repeat the same old standard blow off, i have been nothing but let down and disappointed with logitech, all i wanted to do was buy a pro wheel and pedal set and i cannot. in short logitech have failed the NZ market heavily and i wont buy anything from them going forward.
If you look at the construction it's not worth 600€ even if it's good construction
My goodness. I DO NOT KNOW. I would not be watching this if I knew so quit saying "you know" every damn sentence and spending 3.2 seconds before speaking to know exactly what you wan to say instead of "you knowing" everything.
Not worth more than $250...cheap seat.
Nice gadget, but you will have always to dismantle the whole seat, including Wheel and pedals, if you want to fold the seat together to its compact store size👎; so not such perfect invention....IMHO
yes... it is imperfect? 🤣
im 6.1 and wtf is that XDDD only usa ppl can understand a stupid non metric sistem XD sorry
Is this playseat also compatible with games like Star Wars Squadron? Of course using a flight stick.
there is no buy button on logitech website wtf?
You don't remember what the minimum kg of force you used do you? And if it flexed?
Massively overpriced!
