Just a few tips on glaze firing …I fired this one standing up against a baby kiln half shelf leaning on a few posts because I applied runny glaze and wanted glaze to run down the pot and not off the sides! If you are not using super runny glazes you can fire flat on the shelf 👍🏻 have fun !⭐️

Hi! I brushed Coyote Ancient Iron over the flower...and inside. That's the only Coyote glaze I have in my pottery notes that I used. I tend to layer glazes in a painterly way so it's hard to explain and I wish I could share before photos here. Sometimes I just lightly brush over texture so it stays on the top of the texture and not down in it so that is what I did with the Ancient Iron. I'll try to edit this!
