    Wow! I love how Michele Lagrange sang the voice of Christine! What a GLORIOUS instrument! And, such wonderful vocal technique! Brava! Love, Susan

    very cool when they sing together. His face lights up with joy when he realizes how much she truly loves him! Erik has a lovely voice. All the trouble was caused by his face, but love is not physical, it comes from the soul. Yes sex is a part of it, but even the act of love making is all about the feeling you get from touching someone, not how they look

    This scene is so cool! Erik hearing Christine's voice and having life on his face :) . The last note Christine sang sounded like "Of me" . Like Webbers song

    Oh, I love "The Jewel Song" from Faust! And Michele Lagrange (soprano doubling to Teri Polo) sings very well.

    @thatappletree Ummm, she's singing for him, to raise his spirits and hopefully health, and to apologize. And she looks happy because she's IN CHARACTER. It's a play!!!

    Poor Erik, the stairs are becoming a bit of a hindrance......
    The same song is sung in the 1989 Robert Englund version. I recognised it yay!

    This singer sings Margureite soooooo well. Renee Flemming's version I just looked up is so ugly in comparison. (The vibrato part in the beginning of the song.)

Trying to find the song she hums and sings earlier and Erik uses to sing her to sleep, anyone know what the song is? I think it was called laissez moi planter something...Anyways, I loved this version!

    Teri Polo isn't the singing voice behind Christine. Though I heard she has some sort of theatrical performing arts background.

    that's partly why I think the 2004 version of Andrew Lloyd Webber's Phantom of the Opera doesn't make much sense to me because I really can't imagine Eric out living Christine and apparently being healthier then Raoul

    • @youstinaraouf3749
      @youstinaraouf3749 4 года назад +2

      I don't think he's healthier than him in which in the last scene of the movie when all.get older...Erik "as he is much older than both Christine and Raoul " would definitely be so old at the point of movie and my thought that he had left the flower with the ring at christine's grave and then die *because of his age * and of broken heart *as was originally written *

    In my humble opinion, Marguerite's aria was done better in the 80s horror version.
