    I noticed that my Audi b8 axle is also worn and the transmission is slipping. Might the Cv joint axle be the cause of that? Please assist 🙏🏼

      I personally have never heard of a case where the cv axle caused a transmission to slip. However that doesn't mean it's not possible. The most likely reason for a transmission slipping is by low fluid level in the trans, or burned/worn clutch packs.

      And do you know what torque i need to use for the main hex bolt?

    • @ChillisAutomotive
      @ChillisAutomotive  6 месяцев назад

      @@zachschuler1222 200 nm (147 ft lbs) plus an additional 180 degrees. It's best to torque the bolt with the wheel on the car and sitting on the ground so it won't spin while you torque it. For some reason I didn't show the specs or the process in the video, In the future I will most likely make a revised video doing so the next time I replace one.
