DESCRIPTION:
Schezwan Fried Rice is an Indo Chinese dish which is very easy and quick to prepare at home.
INGREDIENTS:
Oil 2 tbs
Garlic(finely chopped) ½ tsp
Red chilly paste 1 tsp
Vinegar 1 tsp
Soya sauce 1 tsp
Tomato ketchup 1 tbs
Salt To taste
Sugar ½ tsp
French beans(chopped) ¼ cup
Green bell pepper(chopped) ¼ cup
Onions ¼ cup
Cabbage(chopped) ¼ cup
Green peas ¼ cup
Carrot(chopped) ¼ cup
Yellow bell pepper(chopped) ¼ cup
Red bell pepper(chopped) ¼ cup
5 Spicy powder ¼ tsp
Basmati rice 1 cup
Egg 1 nos
Spring onions(chopped) ¼ cup
METHOD:
1. Heat oil in a pan and add garlic, red chilly paste, vinegar, soya sauce and saute it for 1 min.
2. To it add tomato ketchup, little salt, little sugar and saute it.
3. Add french beans, green bell pepper, onions, cabbage, green peas, carrot, yellow bell pepper, red bell pepper and saute it for 1 min.
4. Add 5 spice powder, cooked basmati rice and mix nicely on high flame.
5. Heat oil in a pan and add beaten egg and scramble it.
6. Switch off flame, transfer into above rice pan later add spring onions and saute it.
7. Now schezwan fried rice is ready to serve.

Well i use Ponni boiled rice variety ...how to cook that in a pressure cooker for a perfect fried rice...

May I know what is the '5 spice powder' that you have used? can we prepare it at home or should it be purchased from outside?
+mahatirachapudi Its normal spice powder. You can make it at home by using your choice of spices or you can use any store bought spice powder.
Coloured capsicum are called bell peppers
What type of chillies do you use for the chilly paste ?
Dried red chilli.

Your stomach will burn if u use that much chilli paste for a bowl of rice .
You can adjust as per your taste!!!
