What I loved about this video? 1.)Short! I didn’t fast forward like I usually do with other RUclipsrs 2.)Realistic ingredients that are in our pantries!
thank you for a video that wasn't filled with just idle talk and music that blessed your ears out. It was concise it was to the point the only thing is I kind a wish the ingredients would stay on view for just a little bit longer because I have some poor vision, but thank you so very much.
Thanks for taking the time to do post recipe. Only had airfryer for a few months and have cooked your recipe about 5 time's. Nice and simple to follow with fantastic result. Thank you. Keep up the great work. :)
@@thedinnerbite so 180C 30 min on each side? My air fryer’s food table suggests 70 to 80min, I don’t wanna burn it but I don’t want it undercooked either.
I liked how you brushed the seasoning/oil mixture on the chicken (less messy than rubbing it on by hand; one less step than applying the oil first, then the seasoning), and I like using dry seasonings from the pantry (keep better for longer periods, and don't require refrigeration like fresh aromatics might). I just bought a Cosori air fryer myself (an Amazon Prime Day special), and am looking forward to cooking a whole chicken in mine. Thanks for providing both US & metric temps for cooking temperature and internal temperature when done!
Agreed, that’s a game changer I had a brush but for some reason never thought to use it🤔🤷🏾♀️ even spread Of seasoning no need for rubber clothes anymore
Thank you for this delicious recipe. I’ve been cooking for 50+ years and this fits everything I look for. The simplicity is what makes it so good (and reliable outcome) No extraneous blah, blah. ❤️
I made it‼️ Nice flavor. 👌🏼 Of course, being me, I gotta get funky with the spices. I added a teaspoon of onion powder and substituted 2-3 tsp Lawry’s Pollo Asado seasoning instead of regular salt. Also, I mixed a little butter, chopped garlic and a dollop of your seasoning mixture and rubbed it under the skin… 🤌🏼 Oooh baby! 😍
Thank you for the great video. Very well produced and informative. You’re very talented, both cooking and providing us with easy to understand videos. 😊
tried this recepie and method today ... wowzer it was perfect ..tasteee I didn't leave it long enough to rest though .. so my bad .Next time I will have to wait a bit longer to let the meat relax a bit more haha 😄 thank-you for the great video
Thank you, Wonderful job. I'm sorry I have to suggest avoiding vegetable. oil. I thought was healthy. It sounds healthy. I was was wrong. My Mom cooked with it for most of my Life., until she realized it's a trans fat and is banned in many countries. I'm going to enjoy your recipe with Olive oil or Coconut oil tonight. You gave a Great Presentation. Thank you again. 🙂
Only the layer of at top of chicken has flavour inside white and bland. You should marinade chicken properly in fridge with yoghurt etc until the chicken absorb some of the flavours
Great job but I prefer marinating chicken around 2 hours before cooking it and also , for better taste I stubbed the chicken all over with a knife so all juices of marinade penetrate deeper in a chicken- it becomes much much delicious! Try it !
Preheat air fryer for 5 minutes at 180 and only use virgin olive oil or avocado oil. Tie the legs! Tie one leg and then bring the cord under the chicken and tie the other leg.
I am so pleased that I finally bought an air fryer - and especially pleased that I paid attention to the positive reviews of other users, and decided on this one ruclips.net/user/postUgkxD4Qeo-HRLxMfom_PDinM_SBfes00qJsB . It is just perfect for the two of us, and takes up very little space on my small countertop. I roasted salmon filets for dinner tonight and they were the best ever - slightly crispy on the outside but moist inside. Best of all, no smelly kitchen or difficult clean-up. My only complaint would be the lack of even a few printed recipes to get started. My generation does not find it easy to access the QR code and use the smart phone app. I bought a recipe book instead, which gave me the confidence to experiment.
@@thedinnerbite oh thank you so much ! I'd like those drinks like the restaurants make ( eg: Lime, lemons, ..) it seems a bit simple but no one knows the secret (but i guess you could ! 😆 ) Thanks again 😊
Professor, thank you for this as I have been wondering what else I can use in my air fryer! But one small question, If i wanted to buy a marinade bottle and then just brush it on would that still work?
Going to try this as just brought the cosori 3.5L in red thanks 👍 just done it put it in for 180c for 25mins instead of 30 because mine is smaller after 25mins turned it over turned down the temperature as it was to brown going to check after 20mins as don't want it burnt think my tower rotisserie is better for whole chicken as it cooks even and you don't need to turn it over and keep checking it as you can watch the chicken 🐔 cooking through the glass going to use this for smaller chicken bits chips etc it's great for doing smaller quantities really quick another piece of kitchen tech love it 😘
Here's the funny thing, It's cheaper to buy a large fried chicken at Costco or Sams or even walmart than it is to buy an uncooked one at the Walmart or other place.
Not for us. Bloody hard work. Winter is better with Rayburn which does a huge number of other jobs, and chicken falls off the bone. PS: air fryer useful for very basic snacks. That's a tip
Thank you! I followed your steps and recipe and it came out great! It’s been years since I’ve bought and cooked a whole chicken.
Yay! thank you, Karen, I am glad you enjoyed your air fryer whole chicken. 🙌❤
Just use olive oil or avocado oil 🤷🏾♀️🤷🏾♀️💜🛼

180?? really?? Ok
If you read the fine print, that is a centigrade temperature; she adds 356°F
Lol
Was a tad on the spicy side. But I won't make this against because of the skin. Wasn't crispy enough.👎
All I wanted was the temperature and time. I can work out my own recipes
Just ask Google or Alexis next time then. I wanted a new rub. So I appreciated this video
