There was a time, before Disney bought Lucasfilm, when Museum Replicas Ltd. sold Jedi and Sith costumes, both screen accurate Obi-Wan, Qui-Gon, Luke, Dooku and maybe Maul, along with custom Jedi costumes which were made of less expensive material. The cool thing was, you could mix and match the various pieces in different colors. Unfortunately, they are no longer available.
I bought one of these on Amazon and they never said how to wear it. I'm glad you told me about the fabric on the shoulders I had no clue what they were for
I had gotten a Jedi costume like that one for myself a couple of years ago. I thought it was well made and a pretty good cheap option for a starter costume. Just recently I discovered etsy and found two great makers. One is farfarawayoutfitters and they make Jedi costume pieces in a variety of colors. So you could build your own outfit. The second maker is legendarycostumewrkz and they make awesome leather Jedi belts. They will make big sized belts.
I bought the Obi Wan outfit minus the robe off Amazon for 45 bucks. I got it in 4XL cuz I'm a big fatso, and it fit awesomely! Im gonna do similar tweaks. Maybe fasten the shoulder sashes to the tunic and I think i'd like to attach the pleather belt to the waist sash. Very happy with this outfit, Force knows i wasn't gonna make my own.
That was a really good video. I never really wanted to be a jedi, unless you count Anakin's jedi days before his full envelopment in the dark side. Ive also have always wanted a Vader saber!
REVIEW:....Need to add own buttons or snaps...2 Person Dressing Job....Average fabric....6/10 Rated....BEST OPTION:...Robe and Tunic from Disneyland or Disney World, plan to buy next trip..9/10 Rated
thanks it was very informative. me and my mate just brought this same costume and were stumped by all the bits of fabric so thanks for the show and tell :)
I'm so glad I found your video. I got this costume recently (under a different brand name for some reason through amazon) and I couldn't figure out why there were two sashes. upon watching your video and looking back that the amazon example photo I realized I had been using them wrong... I thought it was to go around the neck and not the shoulders. I was wrong. besides that my own notes for it are that the first tie around under the belt should not be set by velcro but a string and loop system. where one side has the string and the other the loop so you can tighten it as you will. that or just add snappers as you suggested to the shoulders and chest. I almost feel like there should be something holding the belt sash in place as well but then it couldn't be as easily adjusted, but! maybe that's good. I'm only just stepping into costume tinkering. another note to add about the cape is I would just recommend buying the tunic by itself and making the cape on your own. there are a lot of really cheap but heavy, cape-like fabrics you can get from Michaels and the like. along with about a million how-to videos and free patterns online to make your own. they are super easy to make from scratch and really that's all you need aside from a good sewing machine. plus once the cape is done YOU NOW HAVE YOUR OWN CAPE! they are great for everything! even non-jedi/sith stuff. okay, rant over thank you.
Hey, thanks for the great review! I want to purchase the Padme Naboo lake dress (pink and yellow one) from this site but I am slightly worried that it isn't legit. Has anyone ordered any female costumes from there? Or do you think it will be okay? Thanks!
Hi, Alea. The daily routines are always the best test, indeed. Must be kinda hard for a veteran stormtrooper to dress as a Jedi & even play the part of a young moister farmer from Tatooine...😎 bonté
You could either clip the tabbards onto the material underneath it or even sew them on to the material below which would prevent them falling off your shoulders
Oh I see so cosplaysky gets professional cosplayers to wear and advertise their shit but when you buy it you either get shitty quality or never get your Order sent out. Guess I lost out on 100$

I'm guessing rights and copyright were taken over by Disney and made impossible to sell by them?
I prefer the bigger, flowing design of the robes and hoods in the prequel trilogy as opposed to the smaller, tighter fitting design seen in the OTC.
I never wanted to be a Jedi, I would hum The Imperial March in class when I was in the 3rd grade.
If you buy the Black robes and don't use the utility belt it looks very sith like!

"Impressive. Most impressive." "Good." (that sums it all up!)
CosplaySky’s imperial flightsuits are also 501st approved, I believe.
their imperial uniform is 501st approved

I was going to keyframe lightsaber blades in but it looked terrible so just imagine the blades are glowing ;)
Ace, Galaxy's Edge has really cool lightsabers in both California and Florida..
That might be an issue because Alea is from the UK.
"Very quickly turned to the dark side" absolutely love that line

My first SW costume was a Jedi, which I wore to SWCI in Denver, CO.

I can finally cosplay as A'Sharat Hett! With your Tusken head and now this Jedi Robes sale!
Impressive,i want one too
Literally just asked a question like that in the IO group. Cheers!
This was really helpful,I just picked it up for Halloween.
A very practical review! Thank you.
I actually just got this in the mail today
Whats a push fasteners/ the thing that stops the tunic from openibg
Looks great! Wish I had such talent.
Can you please tell me what the tool is you use to keep the fabric in place when your moving around?
Republic camandos are epic!!!
Over by the logo on the poster on the very left, is it bad that that's my favourite type of trooper?!... It looks cooler more grind team.
What size should a teenager pick? (Almost 15) about 5,41 feet tall?
How did you get the additional Velcro on the belt to stay on?
Would you like to pose for your art class
I love you so much Ace. Really want to get into cosplay. Thank you so much 😁

i bought my anakin skywalker costume from cosplaysky but had a huge problem with the tabbards falling off my shoulders. did you experience this?
You could either clip the tabbards onto the material underneath it or even sew them on to the material below which would prevent them falling off your shoulders
I have this exact set, the only thing I am having issues with is the shoulder pieces fall off my shoulders constantly
But where can I get a decent brown cloak from?
nice review, thanks. this look perfect for my needs for when cons return!
What a Jedi, thank you for the review!
I thought it was a dude at first but those legs! cool jedi clothes. Wish everyone dressed like this
i have bought exact this robe on amazon for just 55 Euros
What size is it?
Enjoyed watching this.
I really need to get me some Jedi Robes. 😆😆
Brilliant review earned a new subscriber
Could you review the anakin one?
I would like to get a jedi costume but im from Spain and probably the price would be really expensive if they send it to me.. :(
I'm so glad I found this video.....now I know how to put the damn thing on 🤣🤣🤣
Cool
So the website is legit ?
You look like Cal Kestis from Jedi Fallen Order.
Speaking of Jedi you would be a great kal cestis!!!
I’ll probably buy this just based on your vid. It looks good. Despite the cloak. Lol.
Oh I see so cosplaysky gets professional cosplayers to wear and advertise their shit but when you buy it you either get shitty quality or never get your Order sent out. Guess I lost out on 100$
I like your voice
I'd get one like Anakin's i Revenge of the Sith. 😠
First!
