Club Kinetic was my local club, I lived about 20 mins drive or so away from it - so I had the distinct pleasure of seeing Brisk on multiple occasions, he was an absolute crowd fav and his mixing was incredible. I remember one night he was on first being the resident DJ and I started dancing before I'd even took my jacket off or got settled in, such was the motivation to just get into it that Brisk could muster. Absolute legend and brilliant bloke to boot. He lived in Southampton, but came 3+ hours up north to play at the legendary Leisure Bowl. He was adored there by the legions of Stokies and others coming to sample the magic of the Kinetic vibe! Connie on the mic..."you've got to get on the right lines!". Wicked :)

Never seen anything like an in-depth video covering this fundamental side of Dance Music and I have subbed on the strength of that opening alone. I'm here for this 🙂
I love this channel found out about it yesterday... i'm in the USA but am a total hardcore head. I do enjoy the harder styles Angerfist is banging and DJ anime is Hot. all jokes aside I do enjoy hard stuff but for short periods of time ... which is why i think Kutski has the winning formula with his Hardest Track in the World Right now segment in his shows it exposes people to that without over doing it by doing a 60+ minute hard show. I mean i can listen to hard stuff when i'm pissed playing video games but my ears enjoy the polyphonic synths and melodies more.
Can't wait for Scott Brown!!! I spin Elysium every set! Grammer is who really got me into Happy and UK Hardcore and he's still creating some really cool hardcore hybrid stuff.
Great video keep these going please. I took some time out from the scene although always kept a toe in the water and dj/mixed at home. But I found brisks streams on FB and his FB group back then. Got to meet a great bunch of folk that I am still friends with in the virtual world to this day. I even (with Paul's help and backing) put together a few community mixes which still sit on soundcloud, where 15 or so of us mixed 2 tracks each and created a 2 hr mix. I then started my own streaming journey and am a proud member of team brisk. All in all Paul is one of the good guys and has had a positive impact on a lot of people's lives.
He certainly is one of the good guys. To be honest, had a lovely chat with him this morning and it cemented it in my mind that he is a generally nice bloke and the things he has done to bring talent to the forefront is fantastic. The community mix sounds interesting. Sounds like an online version of back 2 back DJing. Is it on your SC mate or will it be hidden in Brisk's huge list of uploads? 😂
@Stuart-K Music is here mate under the community mixes. Yeah back to back online essentially. The mix gets added to and sent on to the next in line. Keeping the audio quality in check was a challenge 😆

He definitely has been a huge name in the scene for a lot of years and I love what he does now with Twitch. One thing we always had in our scene was community and I love that Brisk has evolved it into an online community.
