Hey! I'm Stuart and I am the creator and host of Hardcore History, a series documenting the careers of some incredibly talented artists within the Hardcore scene.
If you were a raver in the '90s, there's a chance you will have heard of at least 1 of the people we discuss in this series, so check the playlists to learn more about the musicians behind the music.
I am also a DJ and a bit of a producer, and you can find mixes or my own musical creations on this channel.

N-Trance - Set You Free (Stuart-K’s Form2Hard Bootleg)
I never intended to weigh in on this vocal as it has been done to death by just about everyone.
That being said, as true as it could ever be to my ethos of 'be a bit different', I took inspiration for this arrangement from Billx, one of my favourite Frenchcore producers who makes some amazing cross-genre stuff.
If you haven't heard any of his stuff, I can highly recommend it!!
This track starts in the uplifting world of Trancey Freeform before we get down and dirty with a ramp-up to 200bpm and some absolutely filthy kicks.
Finishing up in a euphoric Freeform ending and is now available as a free download (via my SoundCloud account) for your collection.

What’s all this Jibba Jabba? - A Slice of Thin N Crispy | Robbie Long | D-Lyte | Stormtrooper
Просмотров 1,3 тыс.6 месяцев назад
For around a decade, the label Thin N Crispy steered the UK Hardcore scene in a different direction. Bringing a tougher, meatier sound, it was a breath of fresh air from the happy, trancey vibes that were being promoted by most artists at the time. In this video, we look at Thin N Crispy, the label's boss, Robbie Long and 2 guys from the TNC roster in D-Lyte and Stormtrooper and take a somewhat...

SY is one of my alltime favourites, Micky Finn, Stu Allan RIP, Pilgrim, & Carl Cox are my faves from original 90-93 old skool Fantazia days ….
living legend
Never stop doing what you do. 4 to the floor is making a comeback brotha!!
Thanks mate. I just like to make beeps and bops and they seem to sound good over a 4x4.
fact is there is barley any uk hardcore scene left for Gammer to take the limelight, that along with they both had many years performing to massive crowds all over the uk and abroad together, time's change as do creative processes, personally i do believe had there been a scene left a time would have come where Dougal would likely be less relevant and Gammer more relevant, out of the two Gammer for me was the more approachable of the duo all ways happy to take a fist bump or have a picture and a little chat after a set as long as he was not in a major rush to get to another gig as Dougal was complete opposite had multiple times where he would just dog you up and slam his eye at you as to say dont even bother pal, i mean i get it you must have thousands of jaw swinging ravers wanting to chat or get a picture and it's fine he dont want that but to dog your fans up when they are the guys that have paid to come see you you wouldn't be there without them paying to be so is a bit off just smile say sorry and and move on dont leave them with a nasty look man, thankfully he literally the only DJ i've had that experience with all the others including mc's have all ways had time for fans
Bass be louder ❤
HAM VIDEO... YES
Sounds a beast....
I just really REALLY want to know wtf happened to ReSist music, i so so SOOOO want its old back catalouge on spotify!
Makes me laugh how everyone rips their hand away after slightly pushing a slider or twisting a knob on the mixer ha!
I’m so bad for this. It’s like my mixer is on fire 🔥
Agreed..get 1210s & allen & Kieth x zone..very expensive but last the rest ur life...my 1210s mk 3 lasted over 20yr & still goin at proper pitch speeds...
Got a pair of PDX-2000s sat here waiting for me to get to work on them and I would love to maybe trade my way up to an Allen & Heath like I did with the decks.
This is true I believe 👍🏻 pioneers not great for turntables, analogue mixers better for vinyl
I’ve not had a Pioneer since my battered old DJM600 years ago but I think I will be staying away from them when I do change the Behringer.
Get 1210s
I don’t need them mate. I have a pair of PDX-2000s sat here waiting for me to sort them out ready to go in place. Better than any 1200/1210 out there. 😉
@Stuartkmusic TECHNODROME @Rollers arena was a sweatbox after being moved from Sanctuary arena.. Sharkey,,Ribbz & SquigyB running outa Rizlas,,sharing goodies etc & M.EG snapping & throwing vinyl into crowd after playing them.😂,he was mad bck then Iv to many legal & not so legal stories to tell in comments,,Id need a voice recorder to U or a pen & pad lol..no joke.. Id love to tell u some,,VIP backstage etc & also off topic,, THUNDERDOME 🇳🇱 & REZERECTION etc...96-2013 best days in HC imo & from experience 🥴🤪😃😂..
@craigwillcox4274 I’d love to chat about your stories. I’m over on Facebook, Instagram or X under the same username if you want to link up and we can go from there. Gmail is the same too 😉
When in late 90s H.Hardcore with sum uplifting Hard Trance influences gave us the new Millenia 🇬🇧HC genre...Ur sounds are very true to the millenial,(2000-2012),sound which was the best yrs for the 🇬🇧HC genre....Glad I raved all over 🇬🇧 from 96 & seen all the oldskool PA's which is non existent nowadays....Just something about watching a live PA compaired to just a Dj set.. Good ur keeping the sound alive Stuart...When u goni get sets at big events..Ur well on ur way m8...
I’m not sure we will be seeing my name at many big events anytime soon but thank you. Always been a huge fan of Trance in general and I do love a bit of Hard Trance so I guess that’s where some of my influence comes from. Trying to bring more breakbeat elements into stuff lately as it works really well with the Hard Trance elements.
JUNIOR all the way...Ultrabeat/Recon make some original tracks for a change....Scott Brown went throo alot BS copyright stuff on Now Is The Time so were left with bits n pieces... Good job I have the originals of both on vinyl but S.Brown,,D.Styles & SY the true godfathers of the genre UKHC....they all go bck to early 90s when HC went 🇬🇧 happy but in Scotland we always liked things a bit harder & live PA shows so imo SB is the king,,maybe biased but imagine if u took everything SB done in HC away.. Helter-skelter 2001 Awakening @ Bowlers,,UKHC was kicking rite off & nearly every Dj's set that night was SB tracks with an odd SY & DS remix & track but in the early yrs SB was untouchable in production of new tracks..
The floor upstairs in room 2 moved like an earth quake
So glad videos are being done on hardcore like this...
What’s s gary
Definitely one of my favourites from the hardcore scene
gabber does something I wish I could find somewhere else but can't, the warm sound of a saturated 909 bassdrum is very comforting in a way (it's probably the repetitiveness), and all the barely musical junk on top is mad unlike any other genre
Mark eg smashing up records in the teknodrome, priceless
First time was hysteria summer time 96 great night 🤪 went many other times, best memory for me was DJ producer upstairs in the technodrome (bouncy floor madness) amazing twisted times 🕊️❤️🙏🕺😂
You keep doing you bro. Mad respect and keep the HTID vibe going. You have not a clue how absolutely jealous I am you and everyone you know had access to hardcore through it's existence. If you liked "techno" in Detroit from 2003-2012 you didnt have a voice and people bullied you. The american record company control is wild. Much love bruv ❤
Hello
Knosti disco antistat bath.
The real grimey ones get dunked in a bath of soapy hot water, sponged in a circular motion then rinsed off and put on a plate rack to dry. The ones I've owned since back in the day are rarely cleaned cos I look after them, and any dirt just adds to the nostalgic 90s sound lol.
I did it from 2002 up to 2010 one of the best place nice and big uproar was good there
It closed is 2004 mate…..
@GTVScotty true lol
That was really interesting cheers mate 👍 SY was absolutely one of my top 3 DJ's back in the day. His sets were always electric.
You should interview oli g and mozz, they played at uproar last chance to dance at the final sanctuary rave. Was an incredible night
I’ll have to see what I can do about getting in touch with them. Cheers mate
@@stuartkmusic Mozz has moved to Australia and as far as I know is totally off socials. Last I heard of Oli g he was living in the USA working for NASA or something along those lines!
Looking forward to it Stu 👍🏻
Stu's back!!! 😮 #dontforgetKinetic
I might have to tap Brisk up for that one 😉
@@stuartkmusic your the man 😎👌🏼
Druid & Stormtrooper - Electrified
I have a copy of RB#2. You'll get it from my cold, dead hands.
I look forward to the challenge 😆
Cuming up like a rocket
Seeing Sy in Blackpool in a couple of weeks. First time. I'm excited!
Sharky is on the flyer too :-)
One of my favorite Gammar mixes would have to be qwerkout. Can be found on SoundCloud Dont ask me what qwerkout means, i thinks it means friendship or someshit like thay
Made it to the end!
2024 i met and saw Dougal here in Seattle US.
I recently learned that the phrase "do you want to build a snowman" means...do you wanna do some blow?
I love both of these guys
I've meet mc storm a few times, what a giant douche.
