Composed in 1995 for a Canadian music competition, the piece 'Piano Soleil' is part of a set of pieces called 'six themes solaires' in which each planet of our solar system is represented by a different instrument. Most important piece of this set, Piano Soleil, generates the music of all other planets, and it is through its energy that the whole set of pieces is illuminated.
