Yes, I entirely agree. This Scots Guards Band percussionist playing the cymbals has great style and passion. Yes, got to be the best cymbals player in any British Military band. Great to watch him. What style & what a performance for the crowds.
Smashing video😎 Nice clear focus and great sound, thanks for posting. I liked the closeups of the various factions, and shows quite clearly that being a cymbalist is something of an art form! Not just a matter of crashing two brass plates together, there are some lovely soft tones produced as well as some grand flourishes😊
Excellent video, AFV, thanks very much! It was great to hear more of "The Warrior", and "Brigade of Guards" march, and to see the master at work on the cymbals. Also I wonder how many people have seen the future Drum Major in his red uniform on the opposite pavement at about 09:58 !
Thanks Mike. Great you could make that Guard Mount. Little man was here today in London again! He’s a great enthusiast and will go very far in the ranks!
Fantastic video!!! Some fantastic Sounding Trombone! No made up marches today! Lol! The marches played were, 1) 0:18-Wellington 2) 3:19-The Glaswegian 3) 5:22-The Warrior (Return to Barracks) 4) 6:26-The Great Little Army 5) 7:53-Brigade of Guards March (Guards Division March) 6) 10:27-Stirling Castle 7) 11:57-The Rising of the Lark
@@ArmedForcesVideos7 Seeing him now, I have to smile as well 😊nice to see he's got his little fan club here 😁 He uses some special techniques, seems like he's an experienced player 👍
Thanks for the video. I hope you don't mind me pointing out 8:08 to 9:23 , the sound is out of step with the marching by one pace. Strong beat should be on left foot at all times.
There’s a technical issue with the camera 2 seconds before which subsequently displaces the beat by a full beat (a mimim). It subsequently gives the impression that they’re leading with the wrong foot. These guys are too good for that.😬
@@simonatkinson6762 I shall take your word for it. Anyone who has been in marching band can pick out the left foot beat. Likewise, no band would march on the wrong foot, It has to be a camera fault.
this might be a daft question but heregoes. Third row from front , 2nd from right..why is there a bandsman marching but not playing an instrument? Anyone know? Sensible answers only please.
The SGT musician playing the symbols is the best in any of the UK military bands I have seen. Flair, precision and entertaining - well done.
Hello, I couldn't agree more! (LSgt) M. Lee has quite a lot of fans! His style is just Spiffing! Always brings a smile to one's face!
A musician who is not self conscious about playing cymbals.

Thankyou for this great video and music. Regards from London, Ontario, CANADA
Beautiful, wonderful.- FROM BRAZIL.

The band master looks proud as punch and is almost dancing to the music !!!
"Wellington" right out of the gate....NICE!

He’s a lovely chap. I managed to go along to a Scot’s guards band open day and meet him, I played cymbals with him! 😊
Thanks delvin! A cracking morning this morning, great to hear ‘The Warrior’.

The Constablette should extend her collapsible Baton and lead the Band...She finally mastered the art of Parade Marching.
